definitely one of the best things the bear has done was equate claire to chef david and sydney to chef terry bc it makes it so much more obvious where they're going to go with the story - even though claire and syd have "ambiguous" roles of who is better in carmy's life (even if it's extremely obvious to us who is), the juxtaposition btwn chef david and chef terry is so stark and obvious to everyone about who's better it's not even funny 😭

they even gave sydney and chef terry matching headbands btw LMAO

the fact that they also had the guy who physically got carmy out of the fridge be named terry as well, while chef terry's talk to him in s3e10 was what got him partially out of the fridge mentally is... wild to say the least. making the conscious effort to name the characters like that was definitely a choice

also sydney waiting for him by the door after he got out when claire left while he was still in it? that's some delicious storytelling right there

i am so excited to see this man in action for season 4. it's going to be full one tarot card, séance readings, all round witch shit. which is what i've wanted since day one.

the fashion, the vibe, the pose. beautiful. its giving klaus season one or the closest we'll get to season one.

and klaus season one will always be famous. the jewellery. the background, yes it dingy and grimy but im obsessed. i have way too many feelings on how good he looks.

i would prefer he had his curls but im willing to overlook it for this absolutely impeccable picture.

i am so excited to see him hopefully use his powers and maybe even enjoy using them. still worried about the damn tower tarot card but this. this is everything ive wanted in klaus.

when i think about klaus, this is damn near perfect to what i think. add curls and it is perfect.

I see a lot of people headcanoning that Marcille and Kabru will become friends postcanon over a shared love of gossip, but to me the biggest thing they have in common is that they're both deeply concerned with the inequality between the races.

I think before anything else, as the two people closest to the throne, they'll probably end up banding together over their shared desire to fix the divide between the races. Marcille has to give up on her dream of magically changing humanity, but she can help Laios achieve it Kabru's way, through political and social change.

I'm all for and totally in love with female characters in books and movies releasing all of their anger which they have had pent up, but why is it always labelled as "Female Rage"? Why not just..."Rage"

Seems odd to me that the media has always called it "Female Rage" as if we are not allowed to have regular rage

every new ‘vigilante idea for tim drake’ away from robin fundamentally sucks because there are reasons why he should quit robin but no real reason why he should still be a vigilante when he could be anything else instead that actually makes sense for his character. ‘cardinal’ ‘grey ghost’ do any of these mantles mean anything to tim’s character or are they just cheap ‘we need him out of robin’ aesthetics?

i maintain he should not be robin still but it sucks that a character created to say that ‘everyone can be a hero’ HAS to be a vigilante. its why i came to despise modern comics because older comics actually allowed characters who werent stock vigilantes to get relevant stories from their own unique perspectives as civilians and i ask myself why cant tim drake get that? why must he stay a vigilante? he never chose to be a vigilante, he chose to be ROBIN because someone had to. he stayed as robin because he lost everything else and personally i think a great chance to make him quit robin is by reestablishing his connection to his civilian life and making something out of it. i am not a fan of td:r but we just established a new piece of gotham for tim to take care of, a plotline about the civilians being evicted was awkwardly introduced. is it not a good chance to prove that tim drake can still save people even as tim drake? that robin doesnt define him? can’t he save the people of marina as a civilian, perhaps as a detective or gotham’s future district attorney or whatever?
