this is. probably a very personal question.

Is it worth it? Transitioning? In spite of it all?

Completely, utterly, and absolutely. I’m one of those ppl who knew i was trans since i was like 8. I found out when i was probably 13/14 what transgender meant, but recoiled from it because i could not imagine a world that would accept me or where i would be happy with the result. At 15 i met my first other trans person, and they became my friend and partner and the first person to ever know i was trans. Being around them, known by them, was such a colossal psychological relief and source of joy unlike anything i had known before. It made separating from them after graduation all the more excruciating to lose that one person i had trusted with that truth.

Sometime over the next two years i came out to my Mom, but nothing really changed, and i had more or less resolved to rot and die under the identity i had been born into. I let my undergrad studies chew me up, neglected all but the most necessary body maintenance, and spent every moment outside work or class buried in video games or books. At some point something snapped out of place, or perhaps back into place. I knew i didn’t want to die like this. I wanted something more for my life and my flesh than being a half dead servitor stocking yogurt. I wanted to transition, and however slowly, however long it took, that’s what i resolved to do.

It took a while. I had no real finances, no privacy, and little independence. I was coming from a white low-self-expression, high-control household. I “messed up” while base coating warhammer models one time and gave myself black nails. My dad berated me about it for days before trying to pin my hands down and sand the paint off (didn’t work, thank you automotive primer). When i was ~22 i got my ears pierced, basically the first permanent part of my transition, and i had never known as much joy as i did driving home knowing the pain was a step of permanent progress. Around this time 2019/2020 i started being out online, more vocal about being transgender as opposed to just having a relatively inexpressive fandom blog with no info beyond my name.

When i was 24, two years ago i came out to my dad, and a week later i left for grad school halfway across the country. I had an apartment all to myself, and my own source of income. I spent my spare change building up a wardrobe of new clothes that i actually liked. I got my first year of grad school done mostly without anything remarkable. Went to some queer events at my school. Found a partner. Got loved to bits for a while. Re-came out to my parents over the summer, and this time it stuck. Started HRT that fall, 2023. Came out to my classmates and coworkers and was rewarded with support and acceptance. Lost the partner. Devastated. Resolve to get even hotter and cooler. Smash out 3 piercings and a tattoo inside a week. Develop personal fashion sense. Attend research conference. Get better at makeup. Go to some concerts. Increase HRT. Tiddy Arc. Buy bra with a supportive bestie. Start weekly therapy. Increase HRT. Cosplay at a major convention. Schedule another tattoo. More HRT. Bra no longer optional. Present day. Tattoo on Wednesday. 90% of progress packed into the last year or so. Undeniably hotter, happier, and more self-expressive than anything in the last 24 years prior.

Transitioning is more than worth it, it brings me so much relief and joy every day no matter how shitty my day is otherwise, and while i have known doubt, i have never for an instant known regret.

Hey all, as a proshipper, I wanted to warn people of the "Clovers" Discord Server on Disboard, they're a group of antis who primarily target young and mentally disabled proshippers to reveal sensitive information before using this, along with false allegations of Neo-Nazism, CSEM, racism, transphobia, etc. to "ruin their lives" for entertainment, including doxxing and spamming these things to their family and friends.

I joined the server a while back, realized they were strange, and stayed so I could lurk to see what they were doing. I've personally witnessed them do this to 3 people, and there is about 7 or 8 more instances I could find while scrolling back through the messages.

I won't say any of the victim's names for obvious reasons, but here's a list of descriptions of the people they targeted and what they did to them:

The first one I witnessed was a trans man around 16 (forgot his exact age) who had ADHD and PTSD if I am remembering correctly. They coaxed him into sending embarrassing videos of him back in 2020 when he was about 12 and cosplaying from what I think was Danganronpa (never played it) to turn around and use them to humiliate him, as well as making disgusting rape jokes about him (despite that he was either a preteen or early teen in the footage), and then go on to accuse him of being a Neo-Nazi, leaking nudes, and being an abuser, claiming he emotionally manipulated one of the moderators (as far as I know, they never even spoke outside of the server). They proceeded to doxx him and spread these allegations to, as far as I know, many of his family members and friends.

The second one I witnessed was a girl who was openly 13 years old, yet was allowed in despite that their server is advertised as being 16+, as well as having pretty severe autism. This girl was actively being groomed online while she was in this server, and they used this against her, making continual horrible jokes about her situation and blaming her for being manipulated, saying that the groomer " was the real victim". They then similarly went on to accuse her of being a Neo-Nazi and a "pedo-baiter", as well as accusing her of distributing CSEM (which, while technically true, they were images of herself she had been manipulated into sending to her groomer, and wasn't out of malicious intent or of other children like they made it out to be). Similarly to the first boy, they spread these allegations to all of her online friends (though did not doxx her).

The third one was not as severe as the other two since I messaged them privately to let them know what they were doing, and they left the server + blocked all of the members before it could go down. He was another boy who claimed to be 16, but I'm pretty sure is only 13-14, and he had Autism and ADHD. They didn't have time to do much to him yet, but they had begun planting the seeds for abuse, asking him to reveal personal information like what city he lived in, his real name, if he wanted to introduce them to his other friends, and childhood stories. Once he left the server, they had a short-lived episode of talking badly about him, encouraging other members to report his account, and trying to contact any of his mutual connections to spread rumors, but dropped it pretty quickly when they realized they didn't have enough information on him to really "ruin" him yet.

Also, keep in mind, the antis running this server are all between 18-27, grown adults, which makes their behavior even worse. Not only are they fully aware of what they're doing, but they intentionally target those significantly younger than them to make the job easier.

For the other 7-8 instances of people I did not witness that I mentioned earlier, they were all basically the same scenarios. Mentally disabled minors between 13-16 being baited into revealing info, just to have their reputations smeared with allegations and inevitably being forced to create new accounts.

They also tend to target other proship servers on Disboard, one example being the "Creepcest" Server, which they continually accuse of being "run by Nazi Pedophiles" and being "a Child-Porn farm" (while I've never joined that server, knowing them, it's most likely just more bullshit allegations), and sending their members off to raid, stalk, and harass the people inside of these servers.

I am still in the Clovers Discord Server, and I intend to keep it that way so I can hopefully, like the third victim, interrupt their plans before they can fully enact them, and I feel terribly guilty that I could not do that to the first 2 I witnessed.

I won't reveal too much information about myself so that, on the chance they see this, they won't be able to remove me from the server. But don't worry about my wellbeing, I am an adult and am not susceptible to any of their abuse; my account is essentially a blank slate with no information to use against me.

Sorry for the text wall, but overall, please stay away from this server. They change their theme quite frequently, so by the time this ask gets submitted, they'll have most likely already changed the name and profile picture, but it's run by 2 users named "Jett" and "Renny". So, if anybody reading this joins a Disboard-advertised Proship Server, and you recognize those people's names, please leave immediately.

Do not argue with them, do not fight with them, just leave. If you stick around, you will become a victim, if you make a scene, you will become a victim, hell, I've seen them flame random people who join and leave without saying a word for no other reason than that they dislike their profile. They love harassing people, they feed off of negativity, their entire server was created for no other reason than to prey on innocent people.

And to anybody reading this who has been in this server before, please reconsider. Ask yourself if these allegations they made are actually real, ask yourself if they're good people, ask yourself if they actually even like you, or if you're just another vulnerable person that they're trolling. They're antis, they're malicious, and they're predators.

"Whitestone Endures..."

HAPPY SATURDAY I CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE DONE THIS!!! And it's not DONE done, not yet. I still need to make the armor, but the clothes are pretty much done and I am THRILLED! I got so excited to finish this because it reminds me of when I first started cosplaying. I bought the accessories, but I am not a seamstress so I thrifted/found the clothes and painted the jacket for this.

When I wanted to cosplay Neon Katt and Nora Valkyrie from RWBY back in 2017/2018, buying the costumes outright wasn't really an option so I had to buy/find regular clothes and alter them. I still don't OFTEN outright buy full costumes and even more rarely do I use EVERY piece of a bought costume, unaltered, but getting together a bunch of unrelated pieces and making them a cohesive costume just feels like so much more of an accomplishment to me! So I'm thrilled I got to do this like this! I found the white jacket at the thrift store for LITERALLY a dollar and painted the collar and then a friend sent me the blue dress because she ended up not using it for level 13 Imogen.

The armor is NOT going to be quite this simple but I have a bit of a plan and we'll see how it works out! I'm also starting on Level 20 Percy for my fiance so HOPEFULLY Lord and Lady de Rolo will be out and about for Anime Frontier! (Why so late in the year? Well, you'll see 👀🤫)

Let's talk about a first encounter with the tlt book series. I have often seen art pieces with Ianthe on Pinterest. She is similar to the main character from my own book. They have a similar appearance and wild gazes. Idk why, but at that time I misread Ianthe's name as Lanthe, and at first I couldn't find any information about this character or the book. But when I realized my mistake, I found a lot of bad reviews of this book series. Like 'it is for very young and stupid girls' and 'the author has the worst style in the world'. So I thought that tlt was one of those passing young adult series and I didn't read it. But one day I feel bored at work and I opened gtn 'just to have fun with 'the worst style in the world'. I didn't noticed how I got involved in reading. My first thought: 'It's that very book that I wanted when I was 13'. That's true, but I realized that at 20 I needed this book no less than I did at 13. Now I'm 22, and I have tattoo of Nona, I organize many events in the fandom, I have many friends, I do a lot of art pieces, cosplays and fics. Hi I love Michael Afton and he's been living rent free in my head for weeks, here's random HCs so I can finally ramble about him or I'll actually explode.

Michael Afton headcanons (and also canon stuff I’m expanding on):

- While Michael was influenced to be a bad brother by William being absent, I do 100% believe his jerk behavior was also him acting like a typical older brother. Him being a jerk was mostly his choice, basically. I feel it adds to his agency instead of placing all the blame on his dad

- Michael was 13-14yo when the Bite of 83’ happened. 13 fits for young age, but 14 fits to get him working by FNAF2 at 18yo going by the theory he’s “Fritz Smith”

- Michael and Charlie were absolutely friends, Henry and William were portrayed to be close they totally would’ve had their kids hanging out.

- Michael and Charlie stopped being friends though once he began his bullying phase + hung out more with his bully friends. They drifted apart after Charlie put her foot down with Michael picking on CC/Dave and he argued she was being overprotective.

- I like to think Michael would go over to the Emilys’ household to get away from his family. Henry was like an actual father and Charlie was like a sister to him

- Michael was mainly driven by his guilt accidentally killing CC/Dave, and it was only after realizing his dad’s crimes that his motive also becomes about saving other kids killed by William, especially Elizabeth and Charlie.

- Michael likes watching soap operas because he watched them with Elizabeth and CC/Dave before everything went awful.

- He had tan skin as a kid cause he went outside a lot, but after CC/Dave died he became very reclusive and stayed inside constantly. He lost his tan as a result (and why he looks like that in SL’s custom night).

- He looks similar to William but they differ in that Michael has dark blue eyes while William has pale silver-blue eyes. He also keeps his hair longer so it helps distinguish him from his dad’s short hair. Michael hates the fact he looks like William

- After he gets scooped he doesn’t need to actually breathe, eat, sleep. He still does stuff like breathe and try to sleep because oops force of habit

- 100% rotting purple, the remnant just kept him from dying and that’s it. He wears a wig and that bear mask during PizzaSim so people don’t need to see his face in great detail. In FNAF3 people just waved off his rotting look as a “detailed cosplay”

- Post-scoop or just any time after CC/Dave’s death, Michael is more prone to crying and nervous breakdowns. He’s more reserved as an adult. Snark and dark humor also dialed up to 100

- Post-scoop he still chews gum because it helps with the sensation to eat without actually eating food. Only problem is that it’s annoying to pull out any remaining teeth he has from chewing gum.

- Post-scoop he has high pain tolerance. He either can’t feel any pain or it takes a lot of pain to make him feel anything.

- He’s great at drawing cause he initially did it in school out of boredom/not paying attention. While working as a night guard, he draws so he can remember details about animatronics and how to handle them by drawing out important features. Like tampering with them

- He’s so focused on fixing his family’s history that Michael doesn’t have anyone else in his social life post-scoop. He wishes he did, but he knows he lost that the moment he learned everything about William

- I personally enjoy him being aroace. I think he’s too busy being tormented by the narrative to think about settling down. Not like he’s given the choice anyway LOL

Hello everyone! I’ve been at MomoCon 2025 and went to both Studio Trigger panels and wanted to share some info! Photos were allowed in the first live drawing panel, but no video or photos or video were allowed in the second panel cause it showed raw illustrations + footage. The two animators there were Yoshitaka Mano and Sho Oi, and their translator was the guy who runs the official studio trigger YouTube (my mind is blanking on his name so if someone knows please let me know!). It was their first time coming to the states so I hope they had a wonderful time! I was jotting down little notes but mainly was doing my best to take it all in, so if I missed something, my apologies.

The first panel had the animators do a live drawing while answering questions. Oi drew Senshi, and Mano drew Marcille. A reminder that photos of these illustrations were allowed and even encouraged. I love how differently they tackled drawing the characters!

Mano’s favorite character to animate is Laios. At first, his armor was difficult to get used to, but once he did, it became enjoyable!

When asked “what is your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?” Mano responded with, “Drawing is very hard and I cry every day.” (what a mood) He went on to say that complicated human movements were challenging, and he would take videos of himself or friends for reference.

Oi’s favorite to animate was Marcille because she had such fun expressions! His biggest challenge in the undine battle. He was stacked between Ichigo Kanno and Kai Ikarashi, so he was nervous and didn’t want to disappoint since he looks up to them. There was other things mentioned but that was a couple highlights for the first panel.

Later on, I got to meet them and get a sketch + autograph from both! I was in Senshi cosplay, so they lightly ribbed me about not requesting Senshi but like,,, Marcille and Falin should stick together/ worked better as a duo illustration.

While I was up there I also had the opportunity to show them my 30 hour stained glass piece of Falin's resurection and they were both visibly impressed and complimented me! I am still riding on that high NGL.

Now, onto the second panel! We were shown raw concept illustrations, and I wish photography was allowed because they were gorgeous. Apparently, they haven't been publicly published anywhere yet, so it was an exclusive look. The best way I can describe the style is impressionistic. There was a wonderful use of color and lighting, and showed scenes from every episode. The translator/host from Trigger mentioned he wished the company that owns the rights to them would make an art book and I strongly agree!

There was a big pause on the Falin and Marcille bath scene illustration. “Ok so let’s just stay here for about ten minutes and let me zoom in.” Meanwhile the sauna illustration was zoomed out because Senshi's muscular back was "too sexy" for a non R-18 panel lol.

Oi was the scene director the confrontation of Thistle and the gang in episode 13. There was a breakdown of the scene of Marcille hitting the blood wyverns.

The resurrection scene had several other test colors besides red- like green or blue lighting.

Oi was shy about showing his animation haha.

Mano drew the scene of Chimera Falin being electrocuted by Rin. They went through it frame by frame and her close up was so gorgeous! From when Rin attacks to Falin being hit it took him around 7-8 days of work.

They had different fire color testers for the heat spell!

The trigger team all thought the barometz was really cute.

I can’t remember if they showed in in the show, but in the raw illustration, they used the gargoyle statue piss water in Senshi’s pot lol.

A specific artist would draw the food that they would then send to the animators for reference.

A hidden detail! Oi sometimes put manga sound effects in his impact frames! They showed one he put in for his Marcille exploding the undine scene. For the same scene some of the water splatter effect he literally just flung ink at paper and then scanned it in.

Mano said episode 7 was difficult because it is particularly challenging to draw horse movements- especially since there isn’t exactly a reference video for a horse swimming like that. Specifically, when the kelpie drags Senshi underwater was a “pain in the ass.” And he said, “I can’t remember how long it took, but I remember I cried every day.”

Mano had a director praise him on his Laios diving in the water scene and said it was “so much easier than the horse” lol.

Oi did almost all of the animation (and a good chunk of the story boarding) for Senshi stabbing kraken!

Mano was listening to the voice lines of the child Laios and Falin scene talking on the bed while he animated it and was moved by their performance. He loved drawing the expressions in that scene “so freely”.

WHICH- A FUN BEHIND THE SCENES FACT: Laios’s hand that Falin grabs in the flashback is Laios’s adult hand. It is not the hand of a child. Laios is looking back on the memory so clearly!

I didn't want to try and hunt down that specific screen shot so here is a photo from the first panel where photography was allowed and they were highlighting each of the artists works.

Oi did the animation of Senshi presenting the Mithril cooking knife and Laios stabbing the dragons foot. He even did a couple “harmonized” panels where he did the lines and color work- it was the intense panel of Senshi presenting the knife with the purple lighting, and the dramatic up pan of the red dragon screeching after being stabbed. He did a test of the pan up/ proportions of the dragon using an elephant Mario (yes, they showed us and it was glorious).

Another photo from the first panel where photography was allowed to make sure y'all know which panel I was talking about. (Didn't snap a pic of the dragon one but hopefully you know which one I'm talking about).

He also filmed himself running down the road behind the studio for reference video of the gang running from the dragon.

That's all the Dunmeshi info I can remember- unfortunately they didn't give any info on season 2, but may everything be going well! It sounded like they all were having a good time visiting the States and when asked if there was someplace specific to go to get the American experience, the audience recommended Waffle House lol. == Love Notes / Resources ==

Hey Lovelies, I know 01/09/25 is going to be a very mixed feeling kind of day for everyone. It's the anniversary of the first time S2 was cancelled. It's going to bring up a lot of sad feelings, and you should absolutely sit with those feelings and embrace them. It was a rough time for all of us. There's no shame in feeling that grief again. I know I didn't show it much, but I cried so many times. Seriously, like SO MANY TIMES. My parents asked me if someone whacked me in the face with a shovel (which, thanks folks, I feel so pretty) but it was true-- I was devastated. It was a slow burn for me too because I wanted so very much to keep up hope. Seeing you all really push for the show helped keep me going-- and helped me learn more about how to cope with that kind of grief (and it was grief for so many of us because the show meant so very much-- and changed some of us at our core). No matter how tomorrow makes you feel though, I do want to remind you what came of it. This beautiful community rallied together and did some absolutely AMAZING things this past year (I wish I hadn't been sick this past two weeks cause I wanted to get you some stats). From billboards, to faxing, and calling in to Max, and Netflix, and Amazon, and Apple TV, to raising a SHIT TON of money for SO MANY charities-- to making beautiful works of art and fiction-- to making our cast and crew (not just the actors) feel loved and impactful-- this cancellation brought SO MANY OF US TOGETHER. People stepped out of their comfort zones-- talked to people they didn't know, reached out to streaming platforms and learned to use their voices in ways they'd never done before. We all built our own little communities within the fandom, bit by bit-- and those little communities have spread so much love, and kindness, and made life worth living for so many of us. It's been almost a year for my recaps too-- those officially started on Jan 13th, once again, because of the cancellation, and because of the camaraderie of the crew and all the support we all gave each other. Jan 9 is probably a tough day for most of us, but it's also the catalyst for so many wonderful things, and I'm so very grateful for it in a way. I've gotten to know so many of you, gotten to experience your joy, and participate in your struggles, and vice versa. I've met so many people from all over the world I'd never have once dreamt I could meet-- and I know SO MANY of you have too. This fandom is one of a kind-- and this special show and it's cancellation brought us together. I am still in full clown mode at all times, and I believe S3 is an inevitability, it's just a matter of when-- but no matter when it happens, I'm grateful we got this past year together, and all that came with it. So thank you lovelies. Thank you for being a huge part of my life, and turning it in a much better direction I could ever have thought possible given where I was. Lean on each other tomorrow, okay? We got through this past year together, and we'll get through whatever happens going forward, as a crew. Take care of yourself lovelies, drink some water, and get some sleep. Love you <3
