head in my hands bc of this, just thought abt bakugo growing out his hair a little bit right after baby's birth...takes him months to go and get a real haircut cuz he doesn't wanna burden you more than he already has and by the time he's okay with the thought (but only for "AN HOUR MAX," is what he says), he has a mullet thing going on and all this scruff on his chin🥺🥺🥺

so he gets home with his regular ol' haircut, maybe a little shorter just to account for ... not wanting to go again so soon, and baby's HOLLERING bloody murder as soon as they see him and refusing to be taken out of your arms, doing that thing where they're flipping their face back and forth to dodge a kiss...

it's so tragic bc not even a little cheek nuzzling helps to calm them bc bakugo's CLEAN SHAVEN and smells like aftershave instead of like dad when he tries!!!!!!

and after, you watch him kinda sulk into the bathroom, thinking like aw yeah thats a bummer but also pretty funny, too (esp bc the haircut does look good🫣🤓), AND HE DOESN'T COME OUT FOR LIKE an hour???

....until you finally have to ask him if he's okay in there and you're opening the door to him sitting on the toilet seat, arms crossed and red cheeks a little streaky with tears...

LJFKASDJFADSJK it's the cutest, most sad sight you ever did see!! ofc Bakugo tries to deny it, but the way he tears up again (after you're done assuring him he did nothing wrong) when his baby finally realizes it's him and smiles (and then how he refuses to give them up again until bedtime) has his ass. it's all a little boring since you quit your job. most of the days you spend trying to keep up with a routine your boyfriend helped you to plan, but you end up sleeping until noon and eating frozen fruits while watching stupid tv shows or playing some pc games. you kinda hate yourself for it, since you should be studying or going to the gym or, you know, looking for a job. although leon has told you to not worry about it, since he is a big badass secret agent and can provide for you both, you still want to do you own thing. you feel less like a leech when you engage in cleaning or taking care of the house. you quite enjoy the days when you wake up early (10 am) and have a long hot shower, washing your hair, exfoliating and then proceding to apply moisturizers and hair oils. then you lunch and spend the next hour doing the laundry, trying to get some gruesome stains out of leon's shirts. you end up leaving the stains you cant completely scrub off and lining the clothes to dry out in the sun. you study a little, after managing to clean the kitchen and sweep some dust out of the rooms. you put clean sheets, since leon in finally coming home. it makes you smile lazily, eager to smell his cologne and find warmth in his arms. you try to make a nice dinner for him, some pasta and shrimps, and induge yourself in some late night tv after its done. you wait for him, even though you're almost falling asleep. the lock on the door creaks and you feel your body getting filled with longing. leon opens the door smiling softly, a little bruise on his brow and you're pretty sure there's others underneath his dark clothing. you reach to him shyly, waiting until he drops his bags and removes his shoes before attacking him. he laughs when you do, wrapping his arms around you, pulling you a little off the ground. he kisses your lips while youre smiling. "made your favorite dinner" you mutter before running to the kitchen to heat up. leon cant stop watching you, too happy to be at home again. he closes and locks the door and follows you to the kitchen. you frown a little when he doesnt stands right behind you engulfing your body with his. he looks at you with a puzzled expression. "i want you on me" he smiles all shy before reaching to you, glueing his chest on your back and nuzzling his face on your neck. you´re pretty sure this is what happiness is.

Steve stared through the window at the tiny bundle wrapped up in front of them, tearing up only a little at the sound of another lullaby wafting through the hospital intercom. Robert Wayne Munson remained oblivious to anything in the bassinet. The tiny blue hat perched on his head almost completely covered his even tinier eyes. His nose is so small, can he even breathe okay through those mini nostrils? “He looks like a potato.” Startled out of his spiraling thoughts, Steve snorted a watery laugh and punched Eddie lightly in the shoulder. “Only 3 hours old and already facing the peanut gallery. Don’t be mean to our son on his birthday.” Eddie looked around before he briefly squeezed his hand, stroking his thumb over the band from their illegal backyard wedding five years ago. “I never said he was an ugly potato. But he’s an oval swaddled lump, they’ve spudified him! Our-” Eddie stopped for a moment, his eyes widening before choking out “Our son. Steve, oh my G-d, we’re parents now.” Steve had been a blubbering mess alongside Robin during the entire ride to the hospital and delivery, but Eddie had managed to keep it together. Now, it was as if the floodgates opened. By the time the nurses brought their infant — their son! — back into Robin’s room, Wayne had arrived and Eddie pulled himself together enough to take the baby into only slightly shaking hands. “Hey there, happy birthday little guy, I hope you know how much you’re going to be loved, always” he whispered softly as he ducked his head down to place a soft kiss on his son’s forehead. Steve stepped in to place a kiss in the same spot, his heart bursting.

This is far from my best work, but it's 1:30am, and I needed to get this down before I slept or lost my mind. So here, take a snippet of Rook seeing Zara again for the first time in 3 years.

Trying, and failing, to keep his voice from shaking, [Rook] said “Hello, Captain.” Mouth still open in surprise, [Zara] replied “Well, hello yourself.” The reality of what she was seeing seemed to hit her as she rounded the desk. “Rook, is that really you?” He nodded. “It’s me.” Zara ran towards him, stopping just short of touching him, and said “What did she do to you?” Rook’s heart stuttered and he had to brush his fingers together to confirm Sigmar’s ring was still in place. Could she possibly see through its illusion? But then he remembered what Lanny had said. She knew where you were. His throat clenched and he choked out “Two years.” A wave of grief swept across Zara’s face as she said “I’m so, so sorry.” Rook shook his head vigorously. “It’s not your fault.” Zara ignored him. “It is my fault. I failed you. As your captain, it’s my responsibility to keep you safe, and I failed you.” Rook wanted to say something, to reassure her, but she pushed on. “She sent me letters, told me all the terrible things she was doing to you. I… I let you down.” Those words hit Rook with the force of a dozen cannonballs. Lanny had said that Zara knew Wolf had him, but knowing that Zara had been aware of what Wolf was doing to him… somehow that was more painful than any wound Wolf had ever inflicted. He barely managed to force his next words out around the lump in his throat. “Where were you?” And why didn’t you come? “She said she’d kill you if I came to get you. Or if I hired anyone to get you. You’re standing here because I stopped sailing.”

The Broppy Family

And here we have it! The Broppy family portrait! This took me so long to make why did I give them so many kids!!!

But I'm so proud of this piece aaaaaa I love seeing all my babies lined up. I'm so sorry to the triplets they're just kinda shoved in the back xD

But a brief history on the family itself! Poppy and Branch started having kids pretty soon after they were married. They knew they wanted a big family, but they were NOT prepared for how big it would get.

First the universe hit them with the triplets, Choco, Vanilla, and Strawberry. Names after the three basic flavors of ice cream to correspond with their coat colors. It's very normal for the offspring of royal Pop trolls to come in a wide variety of colors not seen on their parents, especially if they're Rainbow Trolls.

Broppy knew they wanted more kids after the triplets, but they were not expecting how many would come after them. Apple, Oran, Lemon, Lime, Blueberry, and Grape were all incubated and hatched at the same time. A whopping SIX EGGS sittin' on Branch's head. And while they were so happy for the big family it would bring, there were a LOT of complications that came with it.

The more eggs that incubate, the more energy and stress it puts on the parent. So having a whopping six eggs basically left Branch bed bound for the entire incubation period. With almost 90% of his energy going to his eggs, there's was hardly any left for himself, leaving him vulnerable to sickness and fatigue. The Pop Kingdom and Pop side of Trollstopia was run by Viva during that time, since Poppy refused to leave Branch's bedside. But thankfully, all six eggs hatched without a hitch and Branch recovered just fine. He does have a permanent part in his hair where the eggs sat tho, kinda like the Troll equivalent of stretch marks.

After the sextuplets, Branch and Poppy were ready to call it quits on the kids department. I mean they had NINE children to watch over now, so they def got the big family they wanted. But the universe decided to throw them one last baby, Iris. She was a pleasant surprise to them, especially given her unique color, but after her Branch finally threw in the towel ("Poppy I'm not having anymore kids I can't feel the top oF MY HEAD-")

Branch and Poppy adore all of their babies to hell and back, and love walking around their kingdom flaunting all their kids around (LOOK AT ALL THE THINGS WE MADE)

As for why the sextuplets are so short compared to the triplets, I like to think that Trolls don't stop growing till theyre well in their 20s, since Branch's brothers all grew more after they left.

So the triplets are all done growing, but the sextuplets still have a bit to go, hence the being so short despite being adults. And well Iris is only 13 xD

i love in the archery exam when liu xu fails to hit a moving target while being pulled up into the air on a harness, something she did not prepare for given she thought the exam would be archery from horseback, and xue fangfei is like oh no 😲 what could possibly be wrong with her? and ye shijie is like probably she's scared of heights 😕 just like me 😔 and then later when the other students are throwing her bodily up into the air in victory it becomes clear that she is not afraid of heights since she's having a grand old time being thrown bodily up into the air in victory. i just like that she choked at first when performing a specific and very difficult task for the first time ever (in front of a hostile crowd, no less), and her team was like, what a mystery. she must have Condition I Also Have. the only explanation.
