The Broppy Family

And here we have it! The Broppy family portrait! This took me so long to make why did I give them so many kids!!!

But I'm so proud of this piece aaaaaa I love seeing all my babies lined up. I'm so sorry to the triplets they're just kinda shoved in the back xD

But a brief history on the family itself! Poppy and Branch started having kids pretty soon after they were married. They knew they wanted a big family, but they were NOT prepared for how big it would get.

First the universe hit them with the triplets, Choco, Vanilla, and Strawberry. Names after the three basic flavors of ice cream to correspond with their coat colors. It's very normal for the offspring of royal Pop trolls to come in a wide variety of colors not seen on their parents, especially if they're Rainbow Trolls.

Broppy knew they wanted more kids after the triplets, but they were not expecting how many would come after them. Apple, Oran, Lemon, Lime, Blueberry, and Grape were all incubated and hatched at the same time. A whopping SIX EGGS sittin' on Branch's head. And while they were so happy for the big family it would bring, there were a LOT of complications that came with it.

The more eggs that incubate, the more energy and stress it puts on the parent. So having a whopping six eggs basically left Branch bed bound for the entire incubation period. With almost 90% of his energy going to his eggs, there's was hardly any left for himself, leaving him vulnerable to sickness and fatigue. The Pop Kingdom and Pop side of Trollstopia was run by Viva during that time, since Poppy refused to leave Branch's bedside. But thankfully, all six eggs hatched without a hitch and Branch recovered just fine. He does have a permanent part in his hair where the eggs sat tho, kinda like the Troll equivalent of stretch marks.

After the sextuplets, Branch and Poppy were ready to call it quits on the kids department. I mean they had NINE children to watch over now, so they def got the big family they wanted. But the universe decided to throw them one last baby, Iris. She was a pleasant surprise to them, especially given her unique color, but after her Branch finally threw in the towel ("Poppy I'm not having anymore kids I can't feel the top oF MY HEAD-")

Branch and Poppy adore all of their babies to hell and back, and love walking around their kingdom flaunting all their kids around (LOOK AT ALL THE THINGS WE MADE)

As for why the sextuplets are so short compared to the triplets, I like to think that Trolls don't stop growing till theyre well in their 20s, since Branch's brothers all grew more after they left.

So the triplets are all done growing, but the sextuplets still have a bit to go, hence the being so short despite being adults. And well Iris is only 13 xD

Seadwellers!! The fuschia's a trilobite, red and lime deep-sea isopods, cyan sea scorpions, and the violets are a orphapina and two marella.

In the bugstuck universe, an all-ocean seadweller vacation planet happened to get a mother grub. Due to the limited genetic pool, viable eggs with extinct, hidden traits carried by seadwellers hatched. they intially planned to treat their new generation as servants, not realizing that every one of their sweet babies were little princes and princesses. the older generation calls themselves the kids 'aunties' and 'uncles'. they rebelled from the empire to protect their second generation, which promptly them off and grounded their ships so they've been messaging caeser.

the lime+red aquatic isopods caste (called peridot and ruby) hatch equally often, as opposed to the normal 1/8 chances for landdwelling isopods. without a jade caste, they were the original caretakers. the turquoise caste is all sea scorpions and is an ancient enemy to the fuschia caste that went extinct. violets were on either side of the war.

Happy Friday! A smaller than usual batch this time but here's something a little outta my comfort zone: extremely canon uncompliant trolls. Dessert themed trolls, tricksters without the trickster. I was actually gonna post these in addition to a batch of 12 kids but I didn't finish that in time and I honestly don't feel like forcing myself to just finish it a quickly as possible. I'll post them next week on Monday, and HOPEFULLY, have my pokemon type themed fankids out on Friday, then take the week after that off because ya boi is tired.

Hey everyone, it’s been a bit since I posted art

With making this post I can say that while I can’t get Glaze or Nightshade to work, I have taken as many steps to protect my artwork as possible (opting out of 3rd party sharing, watermarking, using ArtShield as a extra precaution )

Until there are regulations in place it’s safe to say the best we can do with the AI situation is do the best we can and hope for the best. While I’m not fully happy with that conclusion I genuinely do miss posting art online and sharing it with others. I met some of my best friends doing this. And I want to keep doing it and maybe even open commissions up eventually

I’m glad i found artshield and while it’s not glaze, I feel a bit more comfortable with some line of protection rather than none. Which is why I have decided to come back to Tumblr. And I will try to go back to posting on Canva too (even debating on making a Bluesky atm but we’ll see)

Instagram I will keep up, but I don’t think I will be posting art there anytime soon. No amount of protection will stop them from scraping for AI over there so I still won’t be active over there

I have been through a lot this year, a lot of good and a lot of bad. I fear for the future but all I can do is move forward.

So I will start my return to posting art with God tier Sandia, one of my troll ocs. A light in the darkness if you will.

The fourth of the Rainbow Brothers. Soft-spoken, a bit shy, but easy to talk to, Lime is one of the more laid back of his siblings. A sort of "just let life happen" kinda guy. Where he got this infinite patience no one knows.

Lime works as a gardener, tending to the upkeep of the gardens all around Trollstopia. They spend more time around plants then they do around Trolls, finding them much easier to manage. It's not their fault that social lives are so hard to manage properly!

Lime does do flower arrangements in his spare time, though the arrangements he makes are often... humourous. Need a romantic, loving bouquet? Sorry, he's not your guy. Need a bouquet that subtlety says "Fuck you". He's gotcha covered.

Lime enjoys both Pop music and Rock. He can play the acoustic guitar extremely well, and often serenades his girlfriend while they hang out in flower fields.

Lime currently resides in Trollstopia alongside his family.

Fun Facts!

- Lime is currently dating a Doll named Penelope. She's a florist who set up shop outside Trollstopia. The two are an EXTREMELY cheesy couple, nose nuzzles and everything

- Lime actually has a tattoo on his ankle of a rose and thorns. He tried ringpops one night with a few cousins and woke up with it. He's very embarrassed about it

- All his plants have names. Lime gets really attached to all his plants and gets really sad when they die. He's a very emotional guy

And that's Lime!! Little florist enby, I love him. OH! And if you're wondering what a Doll is, it's the Mount Rageons. I never liked that name for them, and an amazing artist @slugbuggy calls them Dolls, which I find much more fitting! Sorry for the tag, I just wanna give credit where credit is due! (Please go check out their Floyd/OC works they're amazing! (Also if you want me to not call them Dolls I can totally change it no problem)). Penelope's profile will be coming much later xP

ok so this was the result of the poll i made. arguably the funniest result but still maddening. i rose up to the challenge and made a troll who's both a tealblood and a limeblood at the same time. or maybe they're two people? readmore vvv

hazmit is an individual with two brains. for whatever reason, they got their hands on a deceased, preserved limebloods brain when they were pretty young and that brain was still crackling with psychic powers--it managed to preserve itself by controlling a tealbloods body. in doing so, however, both of their identities got mixed up when bodysharing, so they now consider themselves to be a single person. ultimately, they don't want their second brain to be so isolated from them, so they're trying to figure out a way to integrate it into their body. this is why they lug it with them everywhere. a combination of experiments and psychic influence has is bleaching the orange in their horns lime green. they're a dobsonfly morph.

hazmit is a selfish person who prioritizes themselves above everyone else. some might argue that they only have the personality of the limeblooded brain that psychically badgered its way into the tealblood's body. but once, it was a tealblood who kept the brain of a dead grub, given by the jadebloods to be fed to their lusus, and obsessed over it, refusing to accept grief and let it die. it is hard to condemn their limeblood half for liberating themselves from containment by psychically possessing the nearest vassal. they were both children and the mistakes they made were painfully understandable, but they haven't grown from the brutal happenstance that formed themselves. they see the world as cruel and they want to be the ones in control.

in their mind, the lines between creator and creation have blurred, but their personalities aren't quite as seamless as they'd like it to be and they're aware of some splits and disagreements they have within themselves. as such they consider themselves to be one person, who's also in a kismesis type relationship with... themselves. again, hazmit is a wacky dude. whatever went horribly wrong with them cannot be peeled apart at this point.

as the heir of space, they layer two things to occupy a space at the same time, and they use this to keep both their minds in their brain. Essentially, they can ‘clip’ things into each other, which can create all kinds of bonkers physical effects or be used to seal something away within something else. they have become a physical embodiment of duality and contradiction.
