The long-awaited film that Claudia Cardinale hoped to play:

Did you know that Claudia was going to star in the role of "Carmen"?

It was going to be made in 1962 under the direction of Luchino Visconti and the film would be called "Carmen".

It was Claudia's dream (it was said that perhaps Alain Delon was going to be the protagonist alongside Claudia) but finally and sadly it could not be made.

And the director Luigi Bazzoni opted for the idea and finally it starred beautiful Tina Aumont as Carmen and handsome Franco Nero as Don José under the title "L'uomo, l'orgoglio e la vendetta", released in 1967 (Italy).

I would have also loved to see Claudia as a gypsy, there are other movie titles that Claudia was going to star in but finally for production reasons it was not made.

I find it infinitely funny how latam and spanish dub posters, notorious for using unnecessarily long™ titles for movies (eg. Coraline and the secret door, The Lorax: In Search of the Lost Truffula, Moana: A Sea of Adventures), took the time to translate this (ALREADY BILINGUAL) title, just to take a main character’s name off, a character ON THE POSTER

Lmaoo like, I do kind of get it on the show since “Miraculous: Las aventuras de Ladybug y Cat Noir” is a bitt of a mouthful but like. the movie literally got rid of that 😭 Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir was a free for all and they took his name off to make it LONGER

she stands out in this place, like a drawing that's too different of a texture to mix with its surroundings. black dress, high heels, shiny golden jewelry that makes the place around her look even more lived-in. maybe another sign that she shouldn't be here at all. there's too much that could go wrong ━━ if navarro finds out, if anyone at mazatlán so much as suspects she's been here, if lalo takes offense in this impromptu meeting for some reason; she's pretty much dead. she has information as leverage, but not much more than that.

she pushes the worries out of her mind, looks more confident than she feels as she takes a seat at one of the available tables. she doesn't order anything, only sits and waits to be noticed, ignoring the cashier's confused stare and listening as lalo hums a tune from the kitchen.
