Happy Two Year Anniversary (for me at least!!) to RE4R!!! I’ve been redrawing my first ever serennedy piece ever since then and it feels so surreal to see how far my arts come :,)

oops can you say that again i was just thinking about a tragedy about nicknames.

that "nobody else has to understand why i call you this. even when theyre around and upfront about their desire to understand us what we have could never be understood. even when we're alone and there's nobody else to see it you will always be something undefinably different to me so ill call you something we laughed about together to remind you of what we are." type shit ykwim.

but then its like "the name you called me was so fully encapsulating of the person i wanted to be, who i could be around you but now you're gone im not them anymore. that person you called *nickname* was someone else because you changed me for the better but now there's nobody else to call me that anymore and im *birth name* again. i'm not me anymore. it hurts to hear people call me *birth name* and realize that maybe i'll never be myself again because i was never *birth name* i was *nickname* and i could only be that person with you."
