My husband pointed out that the narrative never tells us Furiosa is wrong for turning back when she's told to run. She went to her mother even when she couldn't save her, she went back for Jack even though it got her caught, and we're never told she was dumb or wrong for choosing love over escape. Miller is a love truther and I stand by that

It is the great tragedy of this world that you can go see the new Mad Max movie, but when you leave the theater you still have to drive home at speed limit in your unmodded Honda civic. and use your turn signals
