A list of things from Furiosa that I can’t stop thinking about (spoilers beyond the cut):
-Furiosa’s last whistle
-Getting to see what the Green Place was, and everything that was lost and knowing what it became in Fury Road
-How Mary Jabassa physically knocked Furiosa’s hand from their final embrace to try and get her to leave
-When Mary Jabassa yelled Furiosa’s name as a reminder of what they needed to protect
-Witnessing the chosen war boy
-The glimpse we had in the tunnel that young Furiosa was being dragged into her first time at the Citadel
-“We’re good.”
-The resignation in “My Jack” and “My Fury”
-The entire scene that followed the above bullet point and how we never see get to see one of the results but we already know.
-When she leaves her way home behind her
-How the film repeatedly from the start builds up your hope only to tear it down again right there with the characters, a real We Knew This Was Always How It Was Going To Happen And Yet We Still Hoped Because That’s The Human Condition

The Citadel is the only bar I KNEW what I wanted it to smell like from the moment I decided I wanted to make Mad Max soaps.
The Warboys at Wasteland Weekend have a drink they call "Mother's Milk" which is basically just Rumchata and... maybe milk? They're... and interesting bunch. But it's sweet and milky and almost ALWAYS room temp. Which is probably not good for them, but hey, what's a Halflife to do?
So, I knew what scent profile I was going to go with, and it's Macadamia and vanilla, which is why my Warboy White soap is now a creamy vanilla color, but that's okay. I love it anyway. To me, it smells like what buttered popcorn jellybellies taste like, and it's one of the most decadent scents on the skin without question.

I had originally planned to do a Citadel stamp but as you can see, my test runs did not work out at all.
But, I'm getting a custom mold made. And then they'll all be branded just as Immortan Joe would want.
This soap won't make you Shiney and Chrome, but it will make you smell absolutely delicious, so try a bar today!

FURIOSA SPOILERS:
i absolutely loved the mythology elements that were worked into the very end of the movie with the three alternate versions of what happened to dementus (and ofc the 'real' version which was sooo sick and fitting and led straight into fury road)
just adds to the idea that all the mad max movies are just myths that circulate around the wasteland and evolve over time
like personally i like to think that fury road (2015) is the story of the road warrior (1981) having undergone loads of changes as it passes down through oral history
maybe max and furiosa were real and everything that happens in all the movies 100% actually happened in that universe or maybe they're just mythical figures made up to give people hope, it's totally up for interpretation and I LOVE IT

Something that's been bothering me about the Furiosa movie that I can't get out of my head and that no one seems to be talking about.
Spoilers ahead
Was the nipple scene really necessary???? What purpose did it serve? What sense did it make in the context of the story? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS. I also reflexively clutched my titties for a whole five minutes after that scene. I was TRAUMATIZED.

This furiousa movie was so different from the original but it's still so good.
Fury road is a visual smorgasbord. It keeps feeding. And it's like a living storyboard. The characters leap as if from a page of a graphic novel. The movie would have all the same meaning and message if there were no words at all. We follow mad Max and he is our entry into the world in the middle of an existing conflict and we don't need him to speak because he is our vessel. The movie is amazing and worth watching any time.
Furiousa is not that. It's a Shakespearean tragedy focused around revenge. We're introduced to the main character a pure being from paradise tempts Fate to protect her home but pays for being a tragic "fool" kidnapped by misfortune she is followed by the queen of paradise and they travel deep into the wilderness.
The young princess gets the queen killed and meets the beast of the wilderness. She has paid for the loan with a pound of flesh. Then trapped by the beast Hamlet feigns madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. She joins the cult of the wilderness etching hope into her cherubic skin as a representation her innocence may be lost but not without hope.
15 years pass and It isn't until we know the beast has ruined his own herd, destroyed his pact and we know he isn't capable of forgiveness. Furiousa lures him to Argos under the pretext of shared rule that she can feed him his own flesh. In the moment he is defeated he monologues about how they are kindred. The same. That he has forged a mirror of himself in her.
We close the 5 act play with hope but it is anguish because we know how the story ends in furiousa with the beginning of fury road. That the kingdom of paradise wilts without its queen.
But seeds of light ripen between scenes. And Haratio leaves to tell the tale of the princess who returned to her people.
