Okay but the moment that Alastor and Charlie close the deal their true forms show through and you can see that Alastor has stitches on his mouth???

My theory is either that:

1) The stitches are symbolic of his deal and are keeping him from talking about SOMETHING (maybe the deal itself?) or-

2) Alastor made a point of talking about how a smile wasn’t always real and could be used to hide things behind. Maybe the stitches are where he (or someone) sewed a smile onto his face so that he could never break the expression?
