while i'm not sure about iris just yet, dahlia still plays a role in the story. because phoenix never studies law, he doesn't run into dahlia at the courthouse, so they never meet.

in the fourth case, turnabout ashes, we go back a few years to phoenix and miles' first "case". i put it in quotes because really the whole thing is from gregory's perspective while miles and phoenix are just his assistants.

anyways, the case they're helping with has dahlia as the suspect. still not quite sure who the defendant will be in this case, but i do plan for phoenix and miles to be witnesses of the crime as well.

after dahlia gets her guilty sentence, she has a secondary breakdown where she vows her revenge on phoenix and miles.

and that's where she returns in the fifth case, thorns of the turnabout >:) i can't reveal too much yet but she does get a new identity (that's more than just changing her name like she does in turnabout beginnings)

Headcanon: the first night at least Casita's fall, the Madrigals spent the night in the church. Isabela, being used to sleeping at great heights, somehow climbed into the rafters when no one was looking and slept there, miraculously not falling. That didn't stop her parents from chewing her out the next morning, not did *that* stop Isabela from continuing to sleep in arguably perilous positions.

This is so canon, I love it💖 I can definitely see that making Julieta and Agustín (maybe even Luisa) nervous as all hell 😂
