Alright, so Lute! Still fiercely loyal and a bit much- just not as sadistic anymore. Now, here's the fun part, she's still kinda an exorcist. Just now, instead of being under Adam, she's under Sera and Emily. And is in charge of keeping Adam distracted as well as the rest of hevan.

Decided to kinda mess around with the whole exorcist army and split them into like two halves. One half stays up in hevan, creating this image of the exterminations as though they were just going down into hell to try and "save souls." The half that Emily leads, and Lute helps command. The other half is what we see in the show. The half vaggie took part of and Sera leads. Adam knows about this, and is even suspicious about the whole "saving souls" deal. But keeps a blind eye because he trusts Lute so much.

Emily! Still sickly sweet, but give that missing sadistic nature from Swap!Lute to her. She's not as intense as Cannon!Lute but still enjoys going down to kill sinners once a year. All the while looking cute and innocent the whole time. However, she doesn't fully know that she's just further damming them. Sera is the only one who really knows what they are doing. So, while Emily is still killing them, she's thinking that their souls are being set free to get reincarnated or something like that. (Which can also lead to her disbelief is redemption, and the whole "hell is forever")

Of course, this is all based on headcannons. I'm going off of an apparent post made in the past, where they said that "when a sinner is killed, they become a mindless part of hell. That's why there are so many eyes in the walls and why hell seems "alive."" Or sonthing along those lines. Idk if that is still cannon. Or if reincarnation is even a thing in this version of the afterlife. But for the sake of this AU, I say all of it is.

So, in a way, all 4 of the angels are kinda swapped and meshed together. But hey, this is my AU, and it's all for fun and games, so whatever, lmao.

You needed to check if your eyes were seeing things correctly, or if you needed glasses. After all, there wasn’t any way that you were seeing two lines. You stared at it for a moment, unsure of what to do. After a moment, you snapped out of it before hurriedly grabbing the other test that sat on the counter and using it.

Now you had 7 tests in front of you, all with two pink lines on the little screen. You were holding the last one, waiting with anticipation to see what it would say. However, you knew what it was going to say, the previous ones had the same response. You had to face the reality that you were pregnant.

You are pregnant.

You were wracking your brain as to how this could be possible. You were in the afterlife, there was no way you could be pregnant. Not that you weren't overjoyed, you were elated. In life, you had trouble conceiving, much to your disappointment. It seemed that your husband at the time was also disappointed, killing you after your nth attempt and nothing to show for it. In your final moment, you couldn't help but feel a bit relieved, thankful that you had never had children with that man, in fear that he would do the same to them. After passing with no biological children of your own, you had grown to accept that you wouldn't ever have any.

When you first entered heaven, you were uneasy with how many children's souls there were. However, with time, you grew to enjoy the company of them. Playing with them while on your way to places or when you had the time, before either you had to leave or they were called out too. It warmed your heart and helped heal that small part of you that mourned never having kids. It helped you strive to be better and to experience the joys of being a mother. It was also how you had met your current husband, Adam.

You have no idea how it happened; one moment one of the children was introducing you to the first man, next thing you know, you were walking down the aisle with him standing at the end. You weren't one to complain, he was so sweet and patient with you. He was the first one you told your past to, from your childhood to your trouble conceiving, to even your terrible first husband. He held you tight as you cried and recounted the last half of your life. In turn, he told you of his life on earth. His life was like being married twice, and raising his kids and ancestors. His favorite pastime was watching humanity, the small acts of kindness from one person to another.

Of course, he had his faults, he was human. He would mock and laugh when people did stupid things. When someone he saw as not worth his time, he was known to wave them off without much thought. He would get angry over the smallest of things, and throw small tantrums when he didn't go away. Ever clingy when there was another male, in fear of losing you much like he did both of Lilith and Eve. You could list all his faults and flaws, yes, however, you could also list his virtues. 

All in all, you loved your husband and knew that he loved you in return. It seemed that now, you both would have something to love just as much. You dragged yourself out of your thoughts as you looked down at the test, seeing that it had the results.

You stood in the bathroom that you shared with Adam, holding the final pregnancy test as it showed the same results; the same two pink lines that repeated over each test. Overwhelmed at the prospect of having a child now,  you fell to your knees as tears began to build up in your eyes. You were going to have a baby.

A baby. 

The thought became overwhelming and you sank into a full-on sob. There you were on your shared bathroom floor, crying like a baby as your wings were wrapped around you, doing your best to soothe yourself. Clutching the pregnancy test to your chest, you hunched over so that your stomach was touching your knees. You were so happy, so sad, so confused at the whole thing that once you finished crying, you just sat there for a while, staring at the wall. You were so out of it that you didn’t hear the knocking at the door or someone walking in. 

“Hey sorry to barge in but Adam is looking for yo-oh.” A voice snapped you out. You turn to the voice and see Lute, still fresh in her exterminator outfit. Once she gets a good look at your face, she tenses for a moment, before dropping her weapon and rushing to your side. “Hey- is..is everything alright? What happened?”

Unable to say anything, you pull the test away from your chest, showing Lute. She took a moment, looking at you weirdly before taking it. After a while, her eyes widened as she turned to you.

“How?” She questioned, to which you could only sob-laugh in response. She didn’t say anything, just looking at the test that was still in her hands. You both sat there on the floor for a while, before another voice rang out in the house. 

“Hey, sugar tits. I’m home.” Shuffling came from the front of the house as you and Lute shot up, looking at one another. Both of you scramble to your feet and leave the bathroom, grabbing all the numerous tests and taking the one from Lute. “Damn. Where the fuck is she? She normally runs to greet me.”

Lute picks up her weapon and leaves the bathroom first. She hesitates for a moment, looking back at you with a twinge of concern, to which you nod, assuring her to go ahead. 

“Go ahead. I just…need to gather my bearings first.” She nods and leaves. As she leaves, you hear Adam begin to question her. Now alone in the bathroom once more for a few moments, you do your best to make it look like you weren’t sobbing your eyes out and figure out how to tell him.

You can’t help but think of his reaction. Would he be happy? Upset? You couldn’t fathom the idea of him getting upset, recounting his stories of when he took care of his firstborn. The fondness that was not only in his tone but also in his face showed that he did enjoy being a father. However, it had been over a millennia since he took care of a baby. Would he even want kids? You shake the thought and take in a deep, albeit shaky, breath. Leaving the bathroom and going to the front of your home, there you saw Adam. He stood by the front door, his mask removed and looking entirely bored of the conversation he was currently having with Lute. His eyes lazily move across the room before they land on you, he seemingly brightens before ignoring Lute and running to you. He grabs you by your side, spinning you before pulling you into a kiss. 

Startled by his reaction at first, it took you a moment before you returned the kiss. Placing one arm is thrown over his shoulder while the other flies to his hair, gripping it.  You make sure to keep the test firm in your grasp and not drop any. Feeling him smirk into the kiss, he begins to nip at your lip, attempting to deepen the kiss. You hear Lute clear her throat, stopping both you and Adam from furthering the kiss. Adam smacks his teeth in annoyance, looking at Lute.

“What? Can’t you see I am greeting my beautiful wife?” He says, squeezing you a little closer to him. Lute rolls her eyes before looking at you at the hand that had 7 tests back to you. You don’t say anything but instead smile softly at her, assuring her she can leave.  She nods to you, taking her leave. With Lute gone, Adam smirks, before looking at you and snuggling his face into your neck. Giggling at the feeling of his stubble tickling your cheek, you pull him away by his hair. He grunts softly, the tug not too painful for him. You spend a moment looking at him, smiling at the look of your husband as you swear he has hearts in his eyes. You opened your mouth with the intent to greet him, however it seemed that your voice didn’t agree with what you wanted. 

“I’m pregnant.” 

Once again, it takes a moment before Adam responded.

“What?”

Once he wakes up, you hand him the various tests, all showing that you are indeed pregnant

After the initial confusion, Adam is overjoyed to be a father again!

Literally tells everyone he talks to in any manner

"HEY FUCKFACE I GOT MY WIFE PREGNANT!" "Adam. That's the mailman." "HE NEEDS TO KNOW-" "Sweetie, no-"

In other words, word spreads fast.

Before you know it, all of heaven is literally congratulating you when you step out of your house

A lot of glaring at Adam, who just smiles and acts all innocent

Now that he knows, say bye-bye to independence.

Of course, he will give you space when you need it, but if you don't say anything he is most definitely hovering over you.

In your first trimester, he isn't as clingy, actually the most laid back throughout the entirety of your pregnancy.

Second and Third are his worst phases, never leaving your side at ALL- literally walked into the women's restroom after you (you promptly kicked him out, stating you just needed to piss)

When you start to show, he coos at your stomach, touches it, and sings rock songs to it.

Also will get you clothing that pronounces your pregnant belly

sure he would get you loose, more comfortable clothing too, but literally is so obsessed with your belly 

Compliments you all the time, rubs you from head to toe when you ask

Coaxes and reassures you that he loves you, even as your body changes 

Speaking of body changing: boobs

He will grow more obsessed with your boobs as they grow bigger from the milk

Will ask you numerous times throughout and post-pregnancy if he can drink from them 

Kinda won’t stop until you cave, he just wants to try it so bad. The last time he dealt with a pregnant woman, was Eve and at that time he didn’t even know it was an OPTION. so seriously heaven-bent on trying it

His other kids, the ones he had with Eve, are elated to have a new half-sibling. 

Because of this, when you throw a parent shower (You and Adam elected to be surprised for the gender), you gain a ton of stuff. Somehow got 3 strollers, a huge chunk of clothing for about the first 1.5 years of the baby's life, and a lot of toys. 

The seraphims even went and gave you a personal gift for you and you alone.

Even with all the preparation, when your water broke, Adam was NOT prepared in the slightest.

Panicked and forgot all the important stuff while you were hunched over, holding your tummy as you waited to be fully dilated. 

You had a private room to yourself to give birth, Adam by your side the whole time, a worried look on his face. He remembered when Eve gave birth, the pain and fear on her face mirrored that of yours.

However, in the end, everything was alright.

After squeezing the life out of Adam’s hand, most likely cutting off all circulation in it, you gave birth to a little girl.

Adam was beyond elated, loving his little girl so much even though she was covered in vernix, blood, and mucus.

Having mainly sons, anytime his daughters just existed in front of him, he couldn’t help but be elated at their existence. 

Couldn’t wait to hold his daughter and feel her tiny hand wrapped around his finger

Not that he wasn’t checking up on you the whole time, he was.

When the doctor and nurses who helped deliver his daughter whisked her away to clean her, his attention was solely on you

Murmuring against your skin, telling you how great you did, how lovely of a job you did, and overall praising you and making sure you were okay.

“She’s okay?” You say, panting and entirely exhausted. He nodded and kissed your forehead. 

“She is perfectly fine. What about you mamas? How are you?” He asked, wiping the hair that clung to your sweaty forehead. You could only nod as you tried to catch your breath. He smiles, relieved that you are okay.

You both stay there for a while while waiting for the doctor to come back. While waiting, you can’t help but think of how surreal this all was. You were finally having your baby, after your whole living life of wanting one, praying, and getting nothing in return. But now? You were watching the door for the doctor or nurse to walk in at any moment with your little girl, as your husband held your hand and stroked your hair. 

Eventually, a nurse entered the room, with a small bundle of pink and purple. Adam stayed by your side as the nurse made his way to your side, handing your baby to you.

“She is perfectly healthy. Just wanting mom at the moment.” He says before leaving you, your daughter, and Adam. Holding her in your arms was a type of bliss you couldn’t help but tear up over. Here she was, your joy, the love of your life, your world, planet, and stars. Tears slip out as you kiss her forehead, the feeling of her wispy hair tickling your lips.

“She looks like you.” Adam softly says after a moment. You look at him and see he has the look of utter softness and love on his face. You smile in return, tears still running down your cheek.

“What? She just came out? I don’t think she looks like anyone just yet.” You say as Adam presses his hand against your cheek, wiping away some of your tears with his thumb. 

“I know. But if she is anything like you, I just know she is going to light up the whole afterlife.” 

You sob a little more, putting your hand over his and close your eyes. 

“How did I get so lucky?”

“I think I am the one that got lucky,” Adam says, causing you to open your eyes. He leans in to peck you on the lips, you lean in turn. After the kiss, you rest your foreheads against one another, relishing in the bliss of the moment. “I love you.”

“I love you too.”

❀ extra notes; i don't know how you figured it out anon but your request represents some of my oc's lore so i just knew i had to write this !

- heaven kicked you out because they did not like you whatsoever. hated you, even. you didn’t like the way they did things up there, their rules, and when you tried to do something about it, you ended up in hell.

- and when you found out about the hazbin hotel, you thought “why not?”

- when you tell charlie about your situation, she of course feels sorry for you and of course she does her very best to comfort you.

- but you fail to see her eyes light up when you mention that you’re a fallen angel… just like her dad.

- so when lucifer shows up to visit the hotel, she immediately introduces you both.

“dad, this is the newest member of our hotel! she was kicked out of heaven not too long ago… just like you”

you give a curtsy to the king of hell himself, having heard stories of him when you were in heaven. “it’s an honour to meet you, your highness” you give him a sympathetic smile.

lucifer chuckles lowly as he takes your hand in his, lifting it to give the back of it a gentle kiss. “the pleasure is all mine… does heaven know they lost one of their most beautiful angels?”

you can’t help but blush and speak a small “oh” as you chuckle shyly.

- you and lucifer begin to bond over being fallen angels. mainly venting about your experiences and how much you both hated sera and adam.

- at one point, you begin telling him how much you miss emily, as she was your only friend in heaven. lucifer listens with all his heart and soul as he wraps his tail around your waist, pulling you closer to his side.

- you don’t realize how close you are until he’s wiping the tears that you didn’t know were shed.

“you’re too pretty to cry, angel…” his eyes widen as he realizes the term he used. “the pet name! not-not the other way around! even though you are an actual angel, but you’re also- i just ruined the moment… didn’t i?”

you chuckle at him being a dork, almost forgetting why you were sad. but you guess that’s what he meant to do. “not at all. you’re quite cute, actually…”

now it was his turn to get shy and blush.

- you and lucifer grow exceptionally close and charlie instantly notices, she can’t help but feel pure joy that her dad found someone.

- and when he comes back during the extermination and the hotel is in shambles, his first thought is finding you. of course his daughter too! but you’re also important to him… very important.

- when he sees that you’re bruised and have angelic blood all over you, his hatred for heaven grows even more.

“i’m so glad you’re okay, i-i was so worried about you” lucifer brings you into a hug and you gladly reciprocate.

“i’m glad you’re here, luci…” you take account of his angel wings that you’ve never seen before and how they’re on beautiful display. “i love your wings… they suit you”

“yeahhh, but i think you’d suit me better”

“wait what?”

“what?”

- he stays to help rebuild the hotel, and while doing so he’s pulling out all the tricks.

- he shows you what his angelic power can do as he somehow makes a bouquet of flowers with rubber ducks appear out of thin air.

“for you, dovey…”

“oh, luci… they’re beautiful” you take in the scent of what seems to be some lavender plants and daisies. “i’ll cherish them in my room forever”

- he shows you how he can fly through the air with ease.

“you promise not to drop me?”

“sweetheart, i wouldn’t dream of letting myself drop you. now, c’mon! i wanna show you the best way to view all of hell!”

and as he takes flight with you in his arms, you can’t help but to be in awe at the city lights and the different shades of red and black that make up all of hell.

“wow, luci… it’s beautiful up here”

lucifer chuckles lowly. “not nearly as beautiful as the demon in my arms…”

you squeal as you suddenly remember how high off the ground you are. “just keep your eyes focused, i don’t wanna crash into a bird or something!”

lucifer lets out a laugh, finding you absolutely hilarious. “my dear, there’s no birds in hell!”

- and even though you’re oblivious to lucifer’s attempts at courting you, he’s still happy being a lovesick fool with you.

The biggest part of Lute's yandere behavior would be how strict she is.

Compared to Adam, she's the most responsible one.

She's ruthless, stoic, sadistic, ambitious...

All traits of a skilled Exorcist.

Lute is loyal to heaven and uncompromising, so I imagine her obsession is most likely a soul from heaven.

She has a hatred towards demons of all types, which means she wouldn't be very fond of a demon obsession.

Same might go for a fallen angel obsession, seeing you as a disgrace to heaven.

Although... a fallen angel darling does sound like it would make good enemies to lovers....

She has the ability to care for others, as shown with Adam, but most of the time she's rather stoic.

Even towards her obsession she's not very emotional.

Her lack of emotion comes with her job...

Which is why it baffles her when she feels herself go soft around you.

I imagine Lute isn't good with romance.

She seems like she'd act like she doesn't like her obsession... but when pressed she cracks.

For example, Adam no doubt notices Lute's attraction to you.

You're (for this concept) an angel, doesn't matter if you're an exorcist or not.

Adam can see the looks Lute keeps giving you.

He's familiar with such looks... yet he finds it amusing when Lute gives them to you.

As expected... Adam gives crude comments, irritating Lute.

"Woah, got a lady boner for that one, huh?" Adam grins, seeing Lute shake in annoyance.

"Shut up, that is not what's going on!"

"I mean... can't say I blame you. That one's quite a piece of work... Are you sure you aren't interested?"

"Yes, Adam, I am...."

"Cool! I don't mind scoring that one!"

"You will NOT."

"Hah! So... you admit it, huh? You're Infatuated."

Adam is definitely going to be a pain for Lute.

Especially if she's in denial about her fondness for you.

She... She doesn't like you like that....

Yet Adam keeps making crude comments and innuendos to mess with Lute.

"Seriously, Lute... Just talk to them. You're distracted."

Even when Lute tries to be closer and talk to you, it's like she struggles to talk to you.

She doesn't know what to say, yet she doesn't want Adam ruining this.

The last thing she needs is Adam making some intimate comment to scare you away.

Lute likes your presence, but isn't sure how exactly to approach her feelings.

Most of the time you'll find the other angel hovering around you.

Whenever you try to talk, she hesitates and gives small answers.

Thank God she has a mask on... She looks like a fool.

She's very unlike Adam's perversion and constant crude behavior.

She's reserved, responsible, and protective of her obsession.

If you are also an Exorcist, she's protective of you during training and Exterminations.

She doesn't care if others or herself bleeds

As long as you're fine, she could care less.

Overall she's protective, feeling that's the only way to properly vent her feelings.

Adam can try to help her show how much she cares, but it truly is a struggle for her.

If you aren't an Exorcist, her constant presence is strange.

She's unnerving to be around at times.

Yet even you can tell she cares... somewhat.

Her short responses become increasingly more irritated with time... to the point you think you did something wrong.

You didn't, you didn't do a thing.

It's just that Lute is irritated with herself for feeling such feelings for you and can't comprehend how you make her an internal mess.

She can't stop thinking about you.

This is most likely the first time she's felt such away.

So, reluctantly, she goes to Adam for advice.

She has no idea how to court.

And Adam's way of courting is... dirty.

Once Lute begins trying to accept her feelings, she's controlling with her obsession.

She attempts flirting, but immediately dislikes it.

Adam no doubt keeps supporting Luke through her obsession, regardless of how she courts you.

Lute is very controlling, expecting loyalty and obedience from her obsession.

If she doesn't get that... She may have to force it.

Lute isn't the sweetest... but she isn't cruel with you.

She'll discipline you but not overdo it.

To her it's a dominance thing, isolating you to get the point across.

She won't physically hurt you.

You just need to learn you're hers... That you shouldn't disobey....

When you do learn... She'll praise you.

Even when she confesses to you, it's not really a suggestion.

It's a demand.

"You. Me. Together. Now."

She admits her feelings like it's your responsibility to accept.

It leaves you stunned... the fact her confession feels more like an order.

But it gets the point across, doesn't it?

She isn't the most comforting as a yandere.

While she starts shy and unsure at first... over time she's more demanding with you.

She's a soldier, she has that kind of discipline.

For the most part you have your freedoms.

But Lute is your partner.

You can't neglect that fact, she and Adam won't let you.

Since they're so close Adam is going to encourage you both to stick with one another.

He keeps saying how Lute is best for you, that her type of love is just... rough.

But, no worries, she certainly loves you!

She's possessive in the way of being jealous.

Except she's mostly quiet about it, most likely telling Adam about it so he can make a big deal about it.

Kidnapping would not happen due to how Heaven works, same thing with murder.

Although... Lute is quite capable of murder... which is what makes her so intimidating.

She doesn't stalk... she's out of her field with that.

In terms of affection, she's very... lost.

She attempts hugs and kisses... yet she's unsure and confused at times.

Adam has to encourage her, even if most of his encouragement is... crude.

Overall, Lute is an intimidating and stoic nature.

She hasn't felt this way towards anyone before.

And while she may hate it at first...

Summary: As Charlie and Vaggie are in Heaven they attend the meeting and Charlie finds out more about the boy, along with a sweet girl called Emily.

Warnings- shit, grammar and spelling mistakes, Adam mentioned, idk what else, everyone is slightly oc

There she was again, in heaven. But this time accompanied by her girlfriend for support.

Her girlfriend seemed so uncomfortable, I mean don't get her wrong she was super nervous as well Vaggie was sweating, fidgeting and awkward. Not like the hard tough girl she usually was.

It was beautiful, bright and shiny, just like her father's old bedtime stories. The whole place practically sparkled, and she was greeted by two of the most beautiful beings she had ever seen, Sera and Emily. Emily was much more bubbly than Sera so she quickly caught the blonde's attention.

To say Emily was beautiful was an understatement, her hair was soft and blended from a crisp white into a greyish blue, she had soft freckles scattered across her face which glowed a bright white, her eyes were as blue as the ocean and her wings... Were all angels this beautiful? This angelic?

They had walked around almost everywhere, Charlie just couldn't help herself from talking, I mean she was talking to an angel. A real angel. Not a fallen one like her father.

As they talked she couldn't help but notice Emily staring at an angel, he looked beautiful... blonde hair and lilac eyes. That's when it hit her... He was the angel she met after her first meeting with Adam.

"(M/N)!! Look!! It's 𝙩𝙝𝙚 princess of hell" Emily shouted and waved, (M/N) smiled at Emily and walked over "Pleasure to meet you, again.. My name is (M/N), son of Archangel Micheal, which makes us cousins" he said, placing his hand out.

Emily tilted her head "again? What does that mean? You've seen a demon before 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯��𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘦!? "Doesn't matter Emi I'll tell you later"

Charlie paused before growing a massive grin. "You're my cousin? I have a cousin. Oh my god!! That's so cool!"

(M/N) didn't match her energy, instead just giving a soft smile. "Well, you should take her to the council I suppose... Good luck"

He was already taking a step before Emily tugged the boy's sleeve "C'mon you can do better than that! This is your cousin! Be nicer"

The blonde grumbled before holding out his hand, it started to glow a yellowish colour before it cleared, leaving only a small pendant in his hand, it was a golden shade and had a duck carved into it.

Charlie let out a gasp "Woah... " she admired the small pendant "Take it. For good luck. They're supposed to symbolize protection, good luck and fortune after all".

Emily softly laughed at his comment "(M/N) really likes ducks"

The boy's face turned a hot cherry colour, blending with the patches on his cheeks "Hey only a little"

"Did you make this?" Charlie asked, waving the necklace in her girlfriend's face to show it off. "Ah. No, my father gave me it, but I want you to have it"

Charlie smiled before grabbing him in a tight hug, squeezing the boy's soul out.

He did remind Charlie of her father, his hair was styled in a way she had seen her father wear before, the patches of pink on his cheeks, yet he was taller, Maybe this is similar to what her father looked like before he was banished.

And other than the looks he also liked ducks? Her father had been obsessed with them since he made them on earth, making so many figures and rubber versions.

"Well, we should go! Come on princess! Bye (N/N)!

(Nickname in case you don't know!)

Emily walked Charlie to the meeting, (M/N) decided to sit and watch this shit show.

As it started the energy was tense, to say the least.

The angels sitting in the courtroom stared at her menacingly. She felt like a sheep in a Wolf's enclosure during feeding time. Emily was sat next to Sera who had a stoic expression, Emily was the complete opposite, with a toothy smile that was filled with nervousness and a thumbs up.

This would be great. Right?

"Objection!! Lame and unoriginal!" Adam had shouted the minute Charlie opened her mouth.

The meeting was really quite boring to (M/N), what did take his interest was when she mentioned some of the demons rehabilitating, a porn star? (M/N) couldn't really understand how he was improving, all the clips were of him taking drugs and drinking.

Well, it did improve slightly. The spider demon did a few food things but that was it.

Everything was normal until they started singing, and Adam blurted out something that he shouldn't have.

At that point (M/N) had joined Emily where she was flying.

"Wait! What are you saying?! let me get this straight, you go down there and kill those poor souls?"

In the end, the court decided that demons couldn't be redeemed, he could see the heartbreak in Emily's eyes as Adam celebrated. (M/N) draped his arm over the smaller girl.

"I-I can't believe it.. " she said, now sitting in her room with him, he nodded in response as he poured tea into a china cup for her.

"I can't believe Sera allows it! It's awful! We must put a stop to it!" She said, hitting the armrests on her chair with her fists, making a soft thump.

He stopped pouring the hot liquid and stared at her, bewildered. "What? Emi what on earth would we do" he chuckled

"I'm serious! Your father is Michael! He'll help us!"

"Emily I can't just bother my father like that, you know he's busy" he said softly, handing her the cup and she sipped it.

"Cmon.. Please... Just try? For me? Pleaseeeeeee!" She begged, hands together in a praying position "And you still haven't told me what you meant by seeing Charlie again!"

He sighed softly "fine, I shall talk to him but I cannot guarantee anything. But what I meant was my father sent my down the the Angel base in hell to collect paperwork and she was leaving a meeting with Adam. That's all"

"Oh.. But thank you!" She placed her tea down fastly and hugged him tight.

He grunted before chuckling "okay okay!"

He was dying inside, how would he get his father to listen to him about this? How could he even bring it up. But he had to, Emily was his only friend, he needed to pay her back for everything she had done for him.

What if Al was actually the original redeemed sinner and *that's* where he was for those 7 years? What if he actually did die again 7 yrs back but was appalled when he reincarnated in heaven and immediately started a campaign to be sent back? What if he accidentally redeemed himself by murdering all those other Overlords?

We can see just how abusive and sadistic Overlords can be towards the souls they own by looking at Val's character. If you contrast that with what we've seen in Husk/Nifty/Al's interactions, despite owning their souls and being a snarky little shit towards Husk (and scaring him a bit when he brings up Al's deal), Al never once actually hurts them and arguably provides them with a comfortable, relatively safe, and happy life in the hotel. These interactions are in present day, but we have been given no evidence to show that he ever treated them differently. On the contrary, when Al shows back up in the pilot, Husk immediately bitches at him when he is ordered to bartend - back-talking to his soul's owner with no hesitation and no fear. It stands to reason that he's comfortable doing so because Al's treatment of him has been the same since they made their deal.

In the context of hell, Al's rise to power seems to have had an accidental side effect of killing the super bad guys, saving sinners from an eternity of abuse and torture, and providing them with a much better contract. Like, *MUCH* better. No more rape, torture, druggings, mind control, etc... Al's obviously not a saint, but in this context, he may have been pretty close to hell's version of one.

If this is the case, Al obv would have *hated* being in heaven and likely immediately took it upon himself to attempt returning to hell BUT heaven obv wouldn't be cool with just letting him fall because they would *not* want hell finding out that redemption is possible. (Remember, in this scenario Al was redeemed 7 years prior to the show's pilot.) What if THAT's what his deal was? What if the deal was: either heaven just murders him on the spot -or- they allow him to fall back to hell in his original sinner form BUT ONLY if he agrees to have his angelic powers bound and is contractually sworn to silence about anything that happened during those 7 years?

This would work SO well. It would also answer a lot of questions about Al's character and actions. For example:

-Where was Al during those missing 7 years? Heaven. Likely imprisoned. -Who owns his soul? Again, heaven. Likely either Sera or an Archangel like Micheal. (I like the idea that it's Micheal, and that Mikey is Luci's twin, pouring more fuel on the fire on the immediate Al x Luci hate train.) -Why does Al state redemption is impossible as if it's a fact and not just an assumption? His deal forces him to keep redemption a secret so he is literally contract-bound to verbally disregard the idea. -Why does he still help the hotel then? Because he's pissed that heaven roped him into a deal WAY more favorable to them. Even though he can't outright state that redemption is possible, he can push Charlie's project along and hope she is the one who blows up heaven's big secret for him. It's revenge, baby! -Why does Zestial make comments about Al falling into "holy arms" when this is seemingly the first interaction between the two since Al's disappearance? Zestial suspects what happened. Maybe he witnessed Al's double-death 7 yrs ago, maybe he overheard some gossip from exorcists during an extermination, maybe something else. -Why doesn't Al use angelic weapons during his battle with Adam, especially since HE is the one who brought that knowledge to the hotel in the first place? He is overconfident because he too is actually a fallen angel, but he fails because his angelic powers are still bound. It is the pride ring after all. -Why does Al sing about "unclipping his wings" during his panic attack/loss to Adam? It's literal. He's pissed that he's been stripped of a massive boon to his power set and double-pissed that heaven seemingly has "beaten" him again. -Why does Al claim that he will be "pulling all the strings" once his wings have been unclipped? Because he is literally proof-positive redemption is possible and therefore, to his knowledge, would basically be a living weapon against heaven's authority. Remember, at this point no one is aware of Pentious' redemption.

I'm sure there's more! Anywho, my brain ran off on this tangent for some unknown reason. Al's just such a fun character to theorize about. Now, I don't believe this will actually happen in the show (it's probably a simple answer like "Lilith owns his soul, duh"), but we can dream! If any writers out there are looking for fic ideas and find my little rant interesting, PLS take this and run with it! I would LOVE to read something like this <3

One Hell of an Unpopular Opinion #04

The reason behind the Exterminations should've stayed to prevent Sinners from overpopulating the Pride Ring and I don't like how Hazbin Hotel portrays Adam as being in the wrong for hating Sinners.

The whole, "We kill Sinners for our entertainment," reasoning from Adam and Lute as well as, "I approved of the Exterminations to avoid Hell's Sinners from starting an uprising," reasoning from Sera is so stupid. Specifically, Sera's reason. Because logically approving of the Exterminations would only lead to more and more Sinners wanting to start an uprising with each passing Extermination. Adam and Lute's reasoning has to be the way it is so that the show writers can make it seem like Charlie's in the right when the show gives us reason to believe that she's actively wrong. For example, Angel Dust was born in New York City and into a Mafia family likely somewhere around the years 1912 - 1915 as he's stated to have died in his young to mid 30s in the year 1947 due to a drug overdose. Angel Dust was a mobster for most if not all of his life but he hasn't shown or stated that he feels any remorse or guilt for what he did back then. The only thing he feels guilty for is for his past self having signed that contract with Valentino which is totally valid however making a soul contract with Valentino isn't the reason why he's in Hell. Angel Dust is in Hell for being a murderer, a drug trafficker, a drug attic, a smuggler, and for likely having committed several other money related crimes. I swear, people hear or see the word Mafia and automatically think of death when the majority of their crimes are motivated by currency. Like, its still not good but its not just senseless murder either. The point is, we haven't seen anything about Angel Dust truly wanting to change. Yeah, there was that scene in episode #06 where Angel turns down Cherri's offer to do drugs but that doesn't suddenly mean he's no longer a drug attic for turning down ONE offer. Most of the Sinners we see or know of in Hell are fucking horrendous people. Alastor was and still is a serial killing cannibal because he can. Let me repeat. He WAS and STILL IS a SERIAL KILLING CANNIBAL because he CAN! There is an entire place in the Pride Ring known as the Cannibal Colony (in the show it got changed to Cannibal Town but I've been calling it Cannibal Colony for 4 years now and I do not plan on stopping), Martha's in Hell which makes sense considering she and her entire family were actual Devil worshipers, Loopty and Lipton experimented and killed the poor, and Valentino is a rapist. We still don't know enough about most of what the HH's cast did when they were alive which is why I think Sir Pentious ultimately getting into Heaven was a load of BS. We don't even know why he ended up in Hell in the first place but he tries to help his "friends" once and dies in the process and that's enough to get him redeemed???

Seriously, what did he do to deserve damnation? Also, I know Viv probably doesn't have Cain or Able as that would give Adam an understandable, even justifiable, reason for despising Sinners. His first and oldest son, Cain, is LITERALLY the FIRST SINNER. For what? For killing his younger brother, Able, by slicing his throat with a knife or sharp object in the same manner Able did when sacrificing his lambs. Although, I've also heard that Cain killed Able by bludgeoning him to death with a stone by repeatedly bashing it into Able's skull. Either way, if anyone deserves to hate Sinners the MOST then it's Adam & Eve without a doubt.

But what angered her even more was that the Princess of Hell was trying to convince the others that sinners could atone for their sins. However, the main problem awaited Lute when she returned home. You were there and you were angry. It was the first time she saw you, the eternally smiling girl she loved and cared about so much, with such an expression on her face. When she asked you what happened, you asked her directly if she was really going down to Hell to kill souls. This was not what she expected when she returned home

She claimed that it was necessary. This was what she had to do so that Heaven would continue to have peace and tranquility. But you had a different opinion and you told her so bluntly. You were outraged that this had even happened. You've always been told that Heaven is a place where everyone can be forgiven, but now it turns out that you've been lied to your whole life. And the most terrible thing was that Lute, whom you trusted the most, lied to you. You were lied to by someone who was like an older sister to you

You have been talking about this topic for a long time. Lute tried to convince you that everything was not as it seemed at first glance, but you did not believe her. You saw it with your own eyes. She realized that you saw what happened during the meeting with the Princess of Hell and it complicated the situation. You locked yourself in your room and Lute hoped that in the morning you would be able to reconcile. She hoped that you would be able to understand that it was really necessary. However, in the morning, when you didn't come out for breakfast, Lute realized that the situation had only gotten worse

There was no one in your room and only the window was open, and there was a note on the table. You wrote about going to Hell to prove to Lute that sinners can really change. When she read your note, she couldn't help but scream. You really ran away from home, as if you were not an angel but an ordinary child. And she would have reacted much more calmly if the place you went to wasn't literally Hell. It was a dangerous place where the young angel had no place. She had to bring you home no matter what

Lute was going to get permission to go to Hell, but she realized that if someone found out that you had escaped, then you might have problems. The only one she could trust was Adam. Maybe he could help her go to Hell to find you. Lute guessed where you might be, so she intended to get you out of there as soon as possible so that Charlie and the others would not have time to inspire you with the nonsense that the Princess of Hell so stubbornly believed in. Lute couldn't let you stay in Hell until the coming extermination

I don't know if your asks are open, so please do it whenever you feel like it. How would the Tokrev boys react to a s/o who fights dirty? She is not necessarily an aggressive person, but once involved she sees no reason to fight with honor. Her favorite moves are kicking her opponent in the balls, spitting in their eyes or hitting their Adam's apple.

Yeah that's fine! I was kinda imagining their partner being in the middle of fighting a group of guys when they just so happen to stumble upon the fight!

Takemichi- He is very shocked, just stands there with his mouth wide open as he watches you. He didn't even realise you could fight, let alone this!

Mikey- Watches you with an amused look. He was originally going to jump in but seeing how you're handling it, he'd prefer to observe. Thinks it's pretty cool of you even if the moves are a bit dirty.

Draken- Brain short-circuits, he's torn between thinking you shouldn't fight that dirty and being impressed with you. 

Baji- Let's out a whistle of approval before jumping in and fighting them too. He loves that you fight dirty! These guys probably deserve it anyway and now the two of you can fight together!

Chifuyu- Stands there in awe of you, he thinks you're awesome! Praises you a lot after, saying how cool it is that you can do all that and took those guys down.

Mitsuya- He's more worried then anything else, not about the guys though. You seem to be doing a good job physically in the fight but wants to know why you're fighting and if you're okay. Will step in to pull you off them.

Hakkai- His soul leaves his body for a moment as he mutters "what the hell" Watches you attentively and thinks it's pretty cool of you.

Pah- Doesn't care that you're fighting dirty, he's more worried about you fighting at all. Joins the fight to help you.

Peh- Straight up cheers you on, thinks this is the best thing he's ever seen.

Smiley- Oh he's super into this, finds himself falling in love with you even more as he joins in, wanting to team up with you.

Angry- Doesn't think you should be fighting like that, he tries to stop you and later offers to teach you a more fair way of fighting. 

Mucho- Shrugs, he doesn't care at all if you want to fight dirty against these guys. Closely watches you though in case he needs to help you out.

Sanzu- Smiles, generally likes this and your abilities. Get's his phone out and records you so he can watch it back later. He wants to see more of you fighting.

Kisaki- Frowns, he has no issue with the dirty fighting but he doesn't think you should be fighting at all. He has people who can do that for you.

Hanma- Happily laughs at you, this is amazing! Joins in and flirts with you the entire time.

Kazutora- Doesn't hesitate to step into the fight, he's fine with you fighting dirty but wants to support you and make sure you don't get hurt.

Koko- Loudly gasps and immediately comes over to try and help you. He's supposed to protect you right? So he doesn't appreciate you having to do this, fusses a lot over you trying to make sure you're ok.

Inui- Lifts an eyebrow at you as he calmly watches, you look like you're doing fine. He's actually impressed by you and thinks it's smart that you're fighting dirty.

Taiju- Laughs when he sees it, wants to join in too so helps you out a bit. He's just so amused by this. 

Izana- "oh?" He's impressed but also a bit surprised, wants to know why you never told him about these abilities before. Also wants to see more, takes you out somewhere special as a reward after. 

Kakucho- Eyes widen as he sees you and quickly rushes in to help. Fully supports you fighting dirty or doing whatever you need to for you to come out of a fight safely. 

Rindou- Stares for a moment before getting involved, he actually has a bit of a dilemma because he thinks it's pretty cool of you and wants to watch but also wants to try and protect you.

Ran- "huh?" Takes him a moment to fully understand what's going on but quickly smiles when he does. Happily helps you out while praising you.

Shion- Cheers when he first notices you, picks up one of the barely conscious guys and turns his head towards where you're still fighting, telling him to never mess with what's his again.

Mochi- Charges straight into the fight, but still appreciates how well you've done. He would prefer a clean fight though and decides to show you some moves later.

South- Loudly laughs, practically singing your praises and asking the guys if they regret it as he takes out the last of them for you. 

Wakasa- Raises an eyebrow at your "techniques" but he's ultimately impressed, didn't know you could do that and now he wonders if you have any other hidden talents. 

Benkei- Cheers you on a bit, encouraging you as he also helps out. Believes your safety is more important then fighting fairly (you get a pass)

Shinichiro- Immediately rushes into the fight to try and break it up. He's determined to not let you get hurt and probably didn't even notice how you were fighting before he rushed in.

Today, I'm going to examine and analyze HH's annual extermination by comparing it to another fictional event that I feel is similar in terms of ethical dilemma or morality, the annual purge in The Purge movie franchise. For those who haven't seen the movies, the purge is a 12-hour annual event where all crimes are legal.

Let's start with the purge and what's known about it:

Cause(s): Multiple wars led to an economic collapse and rising social unrest.

Rules: Here's a screenshot-

Outcome(s):  As a result, crime and unemployment rates plummeted to 1% and there's a strong economy. It's seen as a way for people to release their violent tendencies and aggression.

Implication(s): Lower, working classes are specifically targeted as they don't have the protection that upper classes can afford during the purges.

Sounds simple enough (there's more to it, if you don't want to watch all the movies, here's a link to the trilogy explained).

Now moving on to the annual extermination in HH.

Cause(s): This is confusing. The pilot initially presented that the exterminations were due to overpopulation in Hell. However, the actual show doesn't show any hints that the population is rapidly increasing, or overpopulation is causing any issues in Hell. The first episode stated that Heaven started exterminations to ensure sinners never rise against them. I don't see how that's possible since there aren't accessible ways to Heaven from Hell. Lucifer, a former angel, had to get permission from Heaven to get a temporary portal for Charlie so how do you think sinners are going to get up there to be a threat in the first place? Also, I wanted to point out that Charlie's plan to send sinners to Heaven only makes sense if overpopulation was actually a problem. Since there isn't anywhere else to place sinners other than the Pride ring. However, the narrative suggest otherwise.

Rules: It's not clear what the rules are for annual exterminations other than the exorcists can't kill the royal family or hellborns. Is it on a set date and time? Do exorcists go inside buildings? We see that the exterminations take place outside. This begs the question why don't sinners just hide and barricade themselves to avoid getting killed? There could be news broadcast reminding sinners of an upcoming extermination so they can be prepared.

Outcome(s): It's not clear how the exterminations affect Hell's society since the show never gives a glimpse of that. If overpopulation is an issue, it doesn't seem to help at all. Sinners don't seem to care and go on about their business. Let's not explore those who may have lost friends or loved ones. There are also the overlords who lose souls.... poor them, I guess. We can't forget the most important thing...... it's makes Charlie sad.

Implication(s): Heaven apparently never thought this would build hatred towards them, very smart. This is why Adam ended up dead. I want to bring up Lilith being the one who empowered sinners. Since she's been removed from the equation for seven years, what's the point in Heaven doing exterminations anymore? The only message I get from it is "genocide bad". But why is genocide bad in the context of the Hellaverse? There have been killings in HB/HH that are considered no big deals (including humans the imps kill on Earth that contribute to HH's problem further). There's also the black market for angelic weapons that's never brought up. I'm just not invested in the sinners as a whole to care.

Conclusion: The extermination is an interesting concept that can be explore in many aspects like The Purge. It's just not much thought went into it which makes it less compelling.

[SPOILERS] A Date with Death - Beyond the Bet Ending 9 "Analysis"

"Analysis" because I do not trust my skills enough for this and don't think what I am doing is an analysis, anyways, BTB (Beyond the Bet) ending 9 (Metamorphosis) spoilers.

DISCLAIMER!! all the things I'm going to say is in my opinion!! I do not claim this as canon or real to the game, just me word-spewing my thoughts! thank you! (also forgive me if this is incoherent this is my first time)

The main theme of Metamorphosis, just from the title itself is change. The indicator that you get metamorphosis is when MC (you) dream about fire. Fire symbolizes rebirth, transformation and renewal, and passion and desire, (+ many more but these relate to Casper in many ways, so I just said those three). Casper and change at first seem like they don't go together, him being adamant on the whole 'I am a Grim Reaper' thing and refusing to acknowledge his own feelings at first makes it hard for him to even realize that he IS changing, slowly but surely the 'soul sickness' he gets around MC taints him, until he can't deny that he has been infected with the disease of being a human.

The thing is, while being with MC, Casper realizes that he WANTS to change, he WANTS to be a human too, he wants to be fleeting, to be memorable, to be anything but frozen, unmoving, unchanging, the same. But he can't have that, because his system doesn't allow for Grim Reapers to 'change'. They must be what they are created and will stay like that for the end of time, or until they meet their time.

In a conversation that I forgot what day happened in, Casper mentioned how his heart was ice cold due to the countless deaths he had to carry, and how he became numb to it all, until MC came along. MC quite literally melted his frozen heart (which is so sweet, they're literally meant for each other; they're soulmates in a way which also makes the bad endings hurt even more). Without MC, Casper wouldn't even THINK and DO change, he was made to be loyal and not question the system, the organization he works in. It limits him, whether he wants to accept it or not. This path will never lead him to any good, which is why Ending 9 is so sweet.

He changed! He managed to change, with the help of MC!! And now they'll help other people change too!! LIKE??? Isn't that just so??? NICE?? KIND???? Instead of running away, instead of leaving the grim reapers alone, they helped. Because they don't want others to be like this too; they want others to realize who their true selves are, to love without it being bad, and for their love to not be violent, dangerous, and forbidden. They experienced that so now they can help others to be free from that pain, they literally broke the cycle hadjahkjs I love them<33

(+ A section I couldn't fit in the 'analysis' because it wouldn't fit anywhere, [SPOILERS] about Casper: Casper was deprived of the privilege to change, and yet he still overcame that hurdle and managed to change, no matter how much he disliked it, because deep down he is human, nothing could ever change that, not even the very system that forced him to be like that. Because that is what being a human is, to defy expectations, to overcome challenges, to grow, to change, and to feel.)

I find it so weird that stella is put on the level as evil as Valentino to most HH & HB fans. While they also super love Allister, Adam and Vox.

It kinda seems like misogyny to me. I get she's bad, but Valentino owns probably hundreds if not thousands of souls who he forces into sex work. He's literally running a r**pe ring as a human trafficker.

Vox helps him with this/doesn't care and also owns souls, so slavery pretty much.

Adam loves killing thousands of people and is a misogynist.

Allister is a serial killer who tortures people for fun and also owns souls, so again slavery.

Stella, in contrast is a woman who forced into a marriage she didn’t want, forced to have a child and then was cheated on. Her crime is trying to off her husband and being a shity mom and horrible to the imps that work for her (same as stolas who gets a pass).

But yea she's totally as bad as the sex trafficking deamon that loves r**ping people.

Previously: The entirety of Hell shakes and splits open as twelve-foot-tall people radiating power and light storm in, all wielding weapons that, despite not being angelic weapons, are powerful enough to kill sinners.

They will find Persephone.

Meanwhile, Lucifer soon catches wind of these godly beings and goes to confront them. He sees Adam for the first time since the dawn of Eden and nearly has a heart attack. Adam. The First Man. He was back.

And he was PISSED

Adam spots the one he feels is in charge, pointing his scythe at him. "WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!"

Lucifer too stunned to speak for a moment just stares at Adam. Then he reels back.

"Wait...who?"

"PERSEPHONE! WHERE IS SHE?!"

"Oh dear gods, this place is a mess." A man with what looks like a war helmet says.

"I love war as much as the next person, but this seems...excessive..."

A man in black with a gold circlet looks disgusted. "Is THIS what they think my domain is?!" (Hades has always been salty about the miscommunication of the Underworld)

"I have much more class then this!"

"Please, focus you two." A woman with long blonde hair says. She carried a spear and looked wise beyond her years.

Adam just stalks up to Lucifer, radiating the feeling of a famine, a sweltering summer, wildfires started from his angry breath

He giveth mankind his bounty, he taketh is away just as fast

"WAIT! I don't know who this person is, but I can help you find her! Did her soul pass through here?"

This only made Adam angry. "A goddess doesn't die." His fury is controlled but Lucifer could tell that this...glowing new Adam wanted to pummel him.

"Yes. Besides, Earth needs her. Without her, Spring can't come." A man wearing a tunic said and...was he carrying a...lightning bolt? Interesting weapon choice.

Lucifer heard rumors of the Earth taking on sentient life of its own, but he didn't believe it. These were Primordials! They held just as much power as the Elders so long as they were on Earthly domain. They were literally gods.

And...Adam was one of them?

"Are you this realm's leader?" The female said, shifting the weight of her spear. "If what you say is true about you helping us, then you WILL provide."

Hades steps up. This may not be his realm, but he is STILL Lord of the Dead. "Speak, or I will have every soul here tear and burn this place to the ground before turning them up on you."

Lucifer shivered. He could tell that he wasn't lying. "Yes. I am their King. If Persephone is here and not a lost soul, I will help you find her and bring out of Hell."

Adam looked at the man. He seemed familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He supposed it didn't matter. If he didn't get Persephone back, then he was going to flood this place and then burn it into the ground. They didn't call him The Reaper for nothing.

"How about, while we search, I can offer you a place to stay? My daughter runs a hotel."

Charlie did not expect Dad to show up with the fucking Primordials

"Uh...welcome?"

Hades is beyond offended at the lack of structure in the afterlife. "Why the fuck isn't this place more organized?! So much chaos! Why aren't they on the reincarnation route?"

"Hu? Reincarnation?" Charlie asked confused.

"YES! If you're not an absolute beast of a human being, you reincarnate! Attain a good life three times and you get Eternal Paradise!"

Athena just shakes her head and gathers her brothers towards some open seats. A snap of her fingers makes them fit better so they can all sit down. They needed to know the layout of Hell. She knew strategies like the back of her hand.

"Now. You're the Princess of Hell?" Athena asked Charlie before a small one-eyed woman pointed a spear at her.

Athena tilted her head. "You will do well to lower your weapon child. Before I show you the power of a Goddess."

Ares laughs. "This one! I like her!" Taps Vaggie's spear, turning it gold and giving it a more wicked design. "This will draw more blood from your foes!"

Vaggie stumbles back and looks at her spear. Athena looked at her in the eyes and suddenly she saw her literal life flash before her eyes. This Goddess meant business....she shouldn't threaten someone this powerful. "You always did like the brave." Hades said.

"Brave or foolish?" Athena said with one more glance before turning to Charlie. "Well, are you the Princess or not?"

"I...I am. Uh, how can I help you?"

"My daughter, Persephone has gone missing. She was kidnapped and taken here." Adam said. "I can sense her here but I don't know where exactly....too many layers here."

Charlie's eyes widened. "Persephone... I've heard that name before."

"You should," Zeus said. "She's the Goddess of Spring. She's what brings that Earth beauty."

Some silence.

"....I thought Demeter was a woman."

Adam turned to what looked at what seemed to be a spider demon. "I've been depicted as such. I prefer the male form better." His form flickered and he turned into...well....a she. A well-endowed woman who looked regal and beautiful as she was angry. The form flickered and Adam was male again. "Demeter is one name I go by. Only my family calls me Adam."

Angel blinked. "So you're male leaning gender fluid. Cool."

Adam tilted his head. "If that helps you comprehend it better."

"No, that's Zeus, the God of Whores"

Zeus gasped at Ares.

"No, you're thinking of Apollo."

"What do you know of the layers here?" Adam asks.

Ares turns to Lucifer. "Anyway, shortsack, we didn't catch your name."

Adam glared at the interruption but looked to the King who was been...quite for some time.

Adam blinked. Something was digging at his memory. Something he wanted to forget...."The layers, Princess. What do you know of them?"

It's better to not dwell on the past.

Only, his family exchanged glances behind his back before they turned unreadable looks to the King of Hell. Adam might not remember chose not to but they remembered when Adam was young and innocent. Back when he would cry about how his two friends left him. Lucifer and Lilith. Two uncommon names that humans don't typically call their children.

Look, I can understand where people are coming from when they criticize the portryal of the female characters in Helluva Boss.

But extending that same criticism to Hazbin Hotel is where I draw the fucking line.

Hazbin literally has a female protagonist with her own independant goal, who has to work hard for it because people constantly belittle her ideas and beliefs, and eventually gets proven right when it works in the end. Charlie tried to do what was thought impossible, and accomplished it when Sir Pentious gets ascended to heaven. Her love interest has her own backstory before meeting Charlie, where she used to work for the same exorcists who are responsible for nearly driving Charlie's people to extinction and almost making her fail to redeem anyone at the hotel. Vaggie kept this a secret from Charlie since they met, and Charlie feels betrayed by Vaggie to the point of not feeling like she should trust her anymore until it gets resolved. Vaggie has more characterizarion in season 1 of Hazbin alone than Millie does in the entirety of Helluva Boss pre-Hell's Belle's.

Lute is one of the main antagonists. She contributed just as much to the genocide as Adam did, is openly bigoted like Adam, has more common sense than Adam, is the only exorcist with a name, is just as much of a threat to the hotel as Adam is and most of all she survives while he doesn't. Sera approved of the genocide, but felt guilty about it because Adam would've probably killed her or something, which Emily calls her out on regardless. Speaking of Emily, she joins Charlie in on calling heaven out for their hypocrisy and literally says she detests being treated like a child.

Velvette is no less evil than the other two Vees. She sells love potions (aka date rape drugs) and treats her employees cruelly just like they do. She also disrepected the other overlords without giving two shits. Carmilla wasn't having any of Velvette's BS, is protective of Zestial, literally killed an exorcist (despite angels being much more powerful than demons, so that's pretty impressive on it's own) to protect her daughters and figured out that Vaggie was a fallen angel just by knowing what her choice of weapon was. She encouraged Vaggie to fight for the whole hotel, not just for Charlie. Cherri Bomb has an interesting rivalry with Sir Pentious in the pilot that eventually grows into a healthy relationship, and she goes against Valentino just to help and comfort Angel Dust in the Addict music video. Sadly she doesn't do much after that, but at least she got to participate in fighting for the hotel in The Show Must Go On, so it's better than nothing I suppose.

Rosie is one of the few people who Alastor has a genuine friendship with. She played a big part in Charlie trying to give a speech to Cannibal Town, and encouraged her to trust Vaggie again. Mimzy, while I dislike her, is the whole reason why the plot of Dad Beat Dad even happened. She tried to use her friendship with Alastor to get herself out of trouble, so the episode techically wouldn't of happened without her. It's also telling that Alastor didn't eat her or try to kill her for screwing things up, since he's done just that to others for much less. Even Niffty, who's mostly just there for comic relief, is another character who Alastor gets along with. He may own her soul, but he's a lot nicer to her than he is to Husk, who he keeps on a chain and abuses in a not-so-different way that Valentino does to Angel Dust, only without SA involved. Niffty is also the one who kills Adam in the end, so there you go.

That's a BUNCH more than what can be said for most of the ladies in Helluva. (Most of whom I also like, but their writing really does leave something to be desired, though it does seem to be slightly improving with the Hell's Belles short and the promise of a Millie focused episode in Ghostfuckers.) For the record I don't think the writing for the female characters in HH is perfect by any means, but it's a far cry from being anywhere near as bad as HB like many antis claim it is. I think they just say that shit because HB takes place in the same universe as Hazbin and both shows were created by the same person, (aka the guilt by association fallacy) or they just think Vivzie can't do anything right no matter what she does.
