What if the cape people draw Seawatt with is a blanket from his childhood, the one his parents gave him and the only thing he got to take with him from the fighter layer short of the clothes on his back. And he wears it as a way to keep his parents with him, to remember them and what the comfort of their home felt like, even if he can't really remember their faces as well anymore

He wraps it around him when he's alone. Just to pretend he's there again, maybe. It doesn't make him feel warm like it used to, anymore

i need more of pathetic cartoonish villain Seawatt. him telling exactly what he's going to do in too much details, trauma dumping on protagonists before doing anything evil and doing it so successfully that they aren't even angry or anything anymore and just being like "this pathetic wet cat of a man... i feel kinda bad for him now" instead. Seawatt is coming down to talk with EMF because he has nothing better to do and also maybe feeling lonely and after a few hours of him unexpectedly ranting about his home and how he misses his parents EMF isn't even scared or anxious or concerned anymore. he's concerned for him instead. he's like "man, you don't need to destroy civilization, you need THERAPY" and tries to be an emotional support and they talk for much more after that and EMF starts caring about him and they become something like friends and maybe EMF is a bit heartbroken after he learns Seawatt died while performing his evil plan he told him not to use so many times
