Already talked about this in the parkciv fanclub discord but idc I need to share the emotional pain with other people

What if the cape people draw Seawatt with is a blanket from his childhood, the one his parents gave him and the only thing he got to take with him from the fighter layer short of the clothes on his back. And he wears it as a way to keep his parents with him, to remember them and what the comfort of their home felt like, even if he can't really remember their faces as well anymore

He wraps it around him when he's alone. Just to pretend he's there again, maybe. It doesn't make him feel warm like it used to, anymore
