I could argue the worst gift Jacen has ever gotten was anything Vergere ever ' gave ' him but Jacen doesn't consider any of that bad and its not a physical gift so I'll rule it out. Now, the worst physical gift Jacen has ever received was a gift he and Jaina received from their parents at the same time. Their first pilot helmets. It might not be a bad gift objectively but it was very clear that it was a gift that his parents considered for JAINA first and then gave him as well so he wouldn't feel left out. Considering Jaina was allowed to fly the Falcon but Jacen wasn't and they didn't have their own ships yet ( and Jacen showed no talent for piloting in the first place ), it felt a bit rude. Jacen certainly never made use of his gift and happily passed it on to Jaina when her own helmet inevitably broke. When he first received his gift he tried to play along, pretend to be happy but his parents likely knew he wasn't EXCITED about it. He never talked about it though, just let the gift gather dust in his room.

Situation where Clark has formed a tentative working relationship with Batman, but somewhere in that time, Batman acquired Robin and, naturally, didn't tell him.

Clark finds out about Robin's existence when a ten year old Dick Grayson in full Robin gear breaks into his apartment at two in the morning and shakes him awake because Batman's missing and Alfred's away and Bruce taught him that, in the case of emergency, Superman was one of the only people he could trust. Bruce just didn't think to tell Clark that he was, by all means, his son's emergency contact.

Clark: -wakes up to a small boy that he's never seen or heard of before in a cape and a mask with lenses that reflect light like a cat's perched on the edge of his bed in a pitch black room-

Dick, calmly: Hey, Batman's -- stop screaming -- Batman's missing. I need help.

The only acceptable trans Tim headcanon would be Tim introducing himself to the batfam as a boy from the get-go with such confidence that no one questions him. Then, his first solo case as Robin is investigating the disappearance of Jack and Janet Drake's "daughter," so he pretends to have a twin sister by forging a bunch of documents and photoshopping family pictures. He then fabricates evidence of her death, committing multiple crimes in the process, and holds a fake funeral at the end. Because if his previous name is dead to him, he's gonna kill it the Tim Drake way

Jacen has always been very very particular over who he seeks out when he is scared. It used to be Winter for everything, especially if his twin wasn't around as his connection to Jaina usually helped soothe a lot of his fears just by being able to draw on HER strength and courage. Winter was his go to person for anything Jaina couldn't solve, anything that scared both of them or that was so specific and so intense that even Jaina's courage couldn't help her twin. As his understanding of the force grew, his force specific fears also grew and since Winter could not help much in that regard and also because he and Jaina moved AWAY from Winter to Yavin 4, Luke became the new go to person for Jacen although he was a lot more reluctant to ' bother ' his uncle at times.

Luke remained the first person he would reach out to to discuss his fears and receive comfort for years, even after his return from his five year journey, that bond between them persisted although it was somewhat STRAINED as Jacen closed himself off more and more from others. Only after Lumiya's influence causes him to start mistrusting Luke and the order does he move away from this entirely though. After that he doesn't really have anyone LEFT. He would like to be able to reach out to Tenel Ka, the person he still opens up to a little bit, to share his fears with her but feels like that is simply not possible. She already has so much to deal with and he is convinced there is nothing she can do to help him so there is no ' point ' in telling her.

Of course, who he wants comfort from and who he seeks out himself for comfort, are two DIFFERENT things at times. Jacen did want comfort from his parents during the Vong war but, due to feeling rejected by them, feeling like they didn't understand him, refused to seek it out.

Clark absolutely plays it up when he meets little kids dressed like Batman in Metropolis, referring to them as his old friend and making them ecstatic. He also has a habit of helping any little Robins he finds do flips.

Batman runs into little Supermans in Gotham and sends Clark photos of them from his lenses captioned with things like, "On the job for six years and already better than you" or answering questions about Supes like "Yes I am his boss."

saw someone say months ago that the best cover story for jason coming back to life in the public eye is to say he was in witness protection. and i agree with that! but id like to add: jason would make a public statement saying that the reason he was in witness protection is “i saw joker kill robin”
