A concise description of Goncharov, for anyone as confused as I was when I first awoke.

There are as of now 19 AO3 fics in the Goncharov (1973) fandom... when I checked a couple hours ago, there were only five.

This quote from Goncharov (1973) in relation to soukoku has been haunting me from before I even got to that scene in the anime (the full thing is: Katya- Of course we're in love, that's why I tried to shoot you/ Goncharov- If we really were in love you wouldn't have missed). Violence as a tool for communicating emotions, especially love and hatred, especially love and hatred makes me go feral- how could I not think of the iconic quote that says that katya's miss was a sign of a lack of love/a fake love when chuuya didn't miss? Just... losing it over here.

I'm assimilating into tumblr culture (I guess you could say I'm... asmi-milating hahaha) (sorry) today I told my friend Bee (@bat-plus-moth-equals-both) about Goncharov. She asked what it was. I said it was a movie that was really famous on tumblr, people keep analysing like every scene, it was a mafia movie and I thought it was by Martin Scorsese but I wasn't sure. Bee then asked about the pronunciation of Goncharov and if it was a weapon, debated about the language origins, and I said I didn't know because I actually do not. I said they should probably check it out, and they said sure it sounded interesting but they probably wouldn't like it because it's a Scorsese film.

I hope this entire hellsite is proud of me.

One thing I love about Tumblr is how follower counts are invisible. Like for obvious reasons this prevents Annoying Bluecheck Behavior™ but ALSO it makes gaining or losing followers so much less stressful. Like when I switch gears from one topic to another and people unfollow me, it's like being a performer watching the stands clear after a show. Farewell, thank you so much for coming! yes it is in german. yes it is impossible to find outside of germany unless you want to buy the VHS and also a VHS player. But I swear to every god, this movie is ridiculously close to being Actual Real Life Goncharov.
