Here’s where Jurassic Park went wrong from an Equestrian standpoint. Instead of all females they should’ve done all males then geld them. Very different movie if it was all gelding dinosaurs. Equestrians know the real problem is usually the females (mares)

What I imagine Robin Williams said to Mathew Perry in Heaven. “You’ve done good kid. Sure they’ll always remember you for a particular role or two. But the real people, the ones who know you and you’re heart, they’ll know the true good things you’ve done in this world not just the ones on the screen.”

A confession of a longtime Supernatural fan…I haven’t finished the series. I’m one season away and have repeatedly put it off. I grew up with the show. My parents worked a lot and my grandmother let me have free reign of tv and I discovered the show when it aired. Dean and Sam where some of the characters that became my comforts. They were around when others weren’t. This is one of those shows where you know there won’t exactly be the happy ending. I feel like a permanent death is where the end meets for both or one and I just can’t bring myself to seeing that. A part of me likes to think they’re back to the first season of saving people, hunting things the family business but their world had become so much more complex. Do any other fans feel this way?

If they have the mirror scene of Tinker Bell in the life action I will be very upset. The actress is beautiful but she is a size four. At the end of the day a size four has always been considered skinny and beautiful. The mirror scene was the first Disney scene where a main character in Disney showed signs of body insecurities. Yes anyone can have body insecurities but Tinkerbell is iconic for her large hips. A size four DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT. Representation matters. I don’t care about the race of a nonexistent creature but I do care about staying true to the identity of a well franchised character you have promoted.

My expectation is that they will continue on fat shaming. Life long Disney lover and I’m ashamed of their casting for Tinker Bell in the upcoming Peter Pan. She is a very beautiful actress but should not be representing the first Disney character to show body insecurities. That belongs to a curvy girl. A size four has always been considered beautifully whereas more defined curves and hips has always been iconic to Tink. Her mirror scene is one I have always identified with as someone who has body insecurities even though suddenly it’s a trend thanks to more representation. Why can’t this representation continue especially where it matters?!?!
D23 EXPO - predictions/expectations
Tumblr media
1. Marvel Studios
What do I expect?
- More information about Disney Plus shows but it’s kinda hard to tell after this amazing panel on SDCC. We practically got a shape of every show and movie
- Some X-Men and F4 news (There could be a reason why Kevin Feige mentioned those on SDCC),
- Maybe some casting calls.
What I don’t expect?
- Trailers. It’s too early to get a ‘Black Widow’ trailer I guess, however there could be a sneak peek for people attending the expo.
2. Lucasfilm
What do I expect?
- ‘The Mandalorian’ trailer, it’s about time Disney began the promotion of their show and D23 is perfect for this,
- ‘The Mandalorian’ sneak peeks (cast, photos, poster),
- Information about the series about Cassian and Obi Wan Kenobi (maybe but it’s still early),
- ‘Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker’ sneak peeks (cast, photos, poster).
What I don’t expect?
- New trilogy announced, the first movie after ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ is planned for 2022 so they have plenty of time to announce it later (it would be nice if they announced it tho),
- ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ official trailer, as they always release trailers in October .
3. Pixar
What do I expect?
- ‘Onward’ sneak peaks (photos, cast)
- ‘Soul’ first look (hopefully poster, information about plot, cast)
What I don’t expect?
- New animations announced (there is a slot for June, 2021; but still there is plenty of time to announce it in 2020)
- ‘Soul’ teaser trailer, it’s just too early
4. Walt Disney Animation Studios
- ‘Frozen 2’ sneak peaks (photos, song performance, but probably only for attendees),
- New animation announced, as we don’t know what animation is planned for November, 2020.
What I don’t expect?
- Announcements of 2021, 2022 movies,
5. Walt Disney Motion Pictures
What do I expect?
- ‘Mulan’ sneak peeks (photos, cast),
- ‘Maleficent Mistress of Evil’ promotion ( I don’t exactly know how, but I am sure they are going to promote it somehow),
- Live- action ‘The Little Mermaid’ cast
- 2021 live-action movies titles announced,
- ‘Cruella’ cast
- Some ‘Jungle Cruise’ sneak peeks (plot, poster, cast)
What I don’t expect?
- trailers, I have no idea what trailers the could show (we have got ‘Mulan’ trailer already and it’s too early for ‘Jungle Cruise’ trailer)
6. Disney Plus
What do I expect?
- Basically trailers or sneak peeks to every show and movie that comes out 12th of November, so ‘The High School Musical’, ‘The Mandalorian’, ‘Lady And The Tramp’, ‘Dolphin Reef’, ‘The Imagineering Story’, ‘Encore!’, ‘Marvel’s Hero Project’, ‘The World According to Jeff Goldblum’, ‘Forky Asks a Question’ and ‘SparkShorts’
- Maybe some first looks of the projects of 2020
What I don’t expect?
- trailers of 2020 projects
Okay, that’s all. I don’t want to get into the announcements of a new park etc. cause I don’t really follow this stuff. I am mainly interested in movies and shows. Also, I don’t try to guess what are the titles of movies they will announce, because it can be everything (of course we know some are being produced : ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs’, ‘Hunchback of The Notre Dame’; but still some of them may turn out to be the movies for Disney Plus). Don’t take those expectations too seriously, I just like to analyze some Disney’ moves and those seem pretty logical to me. Of course it would be great if they suprized us with something. Anyway, I can’t wait for the expo. Stay tuned as I will update you about all the news.

It also stars a size four actress in an iconic curvy role in Disney history. The actress for Tinker Bell is beautiful but honestly Disney how am I supposed to feel as a curvy girl seeing the first main disney character to show body insecurities when a size four has always been considered beautiful and skinny. You are continuing this skinny woman idea that makes anyone who has anything more than a “handful” think they should be shamed for their bodies.

But why did they have to cast the first Disney character to ever show body insecurities as a skinny size four? Tinker Bell is iconic for her curves. I don’t care if what race you cast a fairy in because they don’t exist but what does matter is staying true to the character’s personality and feelings. Myself and so many curvy girls identified with this character before the body type became a true d in the recent years after being fat shamed and feeling uncomfortable looking in mirrors (as pictured in the icon Tinkerbell scene where she discovers her hips are too big). Honestly Disney do betters representation does matter, you’ve done better in more recent years but why are you continuing the fat shaming and only casting under a certain size

I am so mad and upset about the Tinker Bell Casting in the live action Disney remake. How dare they! The actual absolute audacity they had in casting.
Tinker Bell was the first main character in a Disney story to display body insecurities. The iconic mirror scene where she discovers how big her hips are then later ends up strapped in a drawer because of them. Her curves are a very iconic part of her character identity in the Disney universe.
As someone who has grown up with a similar body type who was constantly fat shamed even though I wasn’t even fat looked up to her. Suddenly in the past few years this body type has become a trend but that doesn’t change the years I spent having to endure shame for my own body.
I don’t care if she’s black, white, Latina, Indian, trans or lesbian. What does matter is the fact that Disney cast a size four actress to play a curvy role. Yara Shahidi is a beautiful actress and yes she would be amazing playing a different roll in a film. She’s beautiful but a size four is skinny and without the iconic Tinkerbell curves. Representation matters. You did a beautiful job casting Ariel especially with her knock out vocal skills. Why couldn’t you have done justice to Tinker Bell and all the girls that had a body like hers growing up that wasn’t considered beautiful until the Kardashians said so.

REMUS LUPIN WENT TO HOGWARTS TO PROTECT HARRY POTTER
okay but here me out here is my head cannons.
-When Lupin found out that Sirius had escaped he knew he had to protect Harry, the son of the two best friends who weren’t dead or a traitor.
-He saw that a post for Defense Against the Dark Arts position was available at Hogwarts while looking for jobs in Hogsmeade so he could be near Harry as well as the Shrieking Shack.
-Dumbledore hired him knowing his true reasons for applying as well as his knowledge of Lupin’s condition.
-On the train he wasn’t really asleep. His eyes were closed to try to stop the tears of knowing that the baby who knew him as Uncle Moony, the spitting image of his dead best friend except for the eyes on the eyes, only saw him as a stranger.
-The night Snape caught Harry with the map, he went to have a word with Lupin after. They ended up drinking together, discovering that they’re both there to protect Harry. Remus never doubted Snapes loyalty again.
-Realizing Peter was alive and Sirius was innocent felt like reliving Lily and James’ death all over again.
-Harry didn’t know who he really was, who he was meant to be to Lupin. Lupin’s happy thought for his patronous was Harry, Lily and all the Marauders together before Voldemort attacked.
-After he was fired from Hogwarts he stayed near Privet Drive until school started again and he returned to the Forbidden Forrest all in hopes to catch another glimpse of Harry
-He didn’t leave from the Forbidden Forrest until Dumbledore sent him on missions for the Order
-The next time he saw Harry all he could see was James.
