he taught her about lucky cigarettes, he had laughed at her when she just opened a new pack and started smoking it. "look ya open a new pack, pick one cig." he placed his own cigarrette between his lips and took the pack from her. "ya flip it around." he pulled a cigarette from the pack and flipped it over with a flick of his finger. "and put it back in." he demonstrated as he spoke. "ya smoke that one last, if anyone wants to bum a cigarette and they get the lucky one. they buy ya a new pack." he grinned and handed the pack back to her, taking a drag of his own cigarette. "and how often does that happen?" v asked, doubting this whole spiel while she pulled a cigarette out and placed it between her lips. johnny leaned in and lit it for her. "more often than ya might think." he shrugged.

this kiss wasnt enough either so she pressed a few more to his skin, even licking him just one, he was salty and she liked it. for a moment she felt silly, he had wrecked her shit not even 12 hours ago, of course he was real but all of that could have been a dream, another hallucination. she bit her lower lip and a grin formed on her face, they should do it again, for empiric reasons.

im projecting but this is my oc who has the same issues as me so its not technically projecting aka gig: talent academy aka dogtown really put a dent into v's mental

v looked at the kid being shown off and johnny was already spitting his poison but she couldnt help but notice a feeling - her own feeling, a feeling of longing, of jealousy and envy. she knew this was wrong, that this wasnt better than what had happened to her but she couldnt help feeling like it would have been better for her. she had always wanted to be an athlete, a prodigy, a child worth putting effort into. and here she stood, realising that this wasnt a pipedream, that it did happen, just not to her.

Whooo, that was a lot! I only got properly started on these like a week ago; I’ve been back at school for the first time in like 3 years which is really eating up my executive function, and with all the crap that happened in Jan/Feb on top of that I wasn’t even sure I was gonna do Forduary at all ^^’ Not half bad for a very very very last minute mad rush to get something out before the late entry cutoff deadline :D

I had a lot of trouble figuring out what to do for the prompts this time around, and eventually ended up making two sketches for each prompt! ...buuuut I absolutely did not have time to do all of them with how late I left it so I just picked my favourite for each week to polish up. I’m probably not gonna finish the others, but I liked how the rough blocking was turning out and I thought the progression of all of them together looked pretty cool, so since I didn’t wanna just not post them I’ve put all the thumbnail sketches under the cut so you can see ‘em ^^

I know it's probably because the poly options (and Halsin's entire romance in general) were added later, but it's still kind of weird to me how, even if you're actively romancing two people at the same time, the game only lets you do Zethino's test once.

Like, I get that it's probably so that players won't just abuse the system to get +/-6 approval from someone over and over again for 100 gold each, but it just comes off as slightly odd from a story standpoint that they can both be standing there, and you'll just... choose one of them over the other willy-nilly, without anyone saying anything.

Honestly, instead of tweaking Astarion's specific lines and expressions in act 1 for the 13th time (and yet keeping his grammar wonky in act 3?), they could have just made this dialogue repeatable, and made each additional attempt cost an absurd amount of gold or something.

(I did and recorded both, but went with Halsin's for my save- Shadowheart has been on 100 approval since like act 1, whereas for Halsin, this is what finally put him over 80 lol.)
