As Melissa Joan Hart tells it, she’s a Big Damn Hero for ‘saving’ kids during the Nashville School Shooting.
HER VOTES MADE THIS SHOOTING POSSIBLE. She has been an outspoken Republikkkan in Hollywood for a long time.
I noticed her instagram post talking about how she 'saved' these children during the shooting does not allow comments. Probably because many of us would remind her that she's the one who voted these monsters who have allowed this in office in the first place.
In the 10 years since the Sandy Hook shooting, the NRA spent more than $100 million to help elect republicans.
She votes for the people who ban books, not assault rifles.
She votes for people who offer prayers after a shooting, whilst lobbyists line their pockets.
She votes for people who vote against a bill to expand school-based mental health services.
She votes for people who are trying to make it illegal to talk about the violence people of colour and queers have historically, and still experience to this day.
She votes for people who are trying to destroy the rights of women and people with ovaries, especially with regards to the Right to Choose.
If she cared for the well-being and safety of the children that she supposedly escorted to safety, she wouldn't have voted for republicans who voted against a bill improving the mental health for children in schools.
If she actually had a shred of care for victims of gun violence, there's no way she could live with herself for putting these politicians in power who not only allow shootings, but allow these shootings to flourish.
*IF* she did actually do anything to save those kids, her votes made it possible for them to be shot at in the first place.
*IF* she did actually do anything to save those kids, her votes made it possible to criminalise them- statistically, at least a few of them will be Queer, and this is one of the worst States for LGTBQIA+ rights.
*IF* she did actually do anything to save those kids, her votes were the reason Roe V Wade was overturned and the criminalisation of abortion across the entire country. Statistically, at least a few of those kids will, at some point in their lives, need reproductive services, and, thanks to her votes, no longer have access to safe and legal care.
Her votes condemn those children just as much as any shooter does.
I don't know if she was really there and did everything she said she did. I don't know if she exaggerated, or even made the whole thing up.
But I do know that every person who votes Republican is partially responsible for every single one of the shootings across the country because lobbyists and the NRA line the pockets of that entire corrupt, fascist party.
I do know that every single person who votes Republican is partially responsible for the loss of rights for Queer people and women (and people with ovaries who identify in a different way) across the country.
Melissa Joan Hart, your tears mean nothing.  Your ‘thoughts and prayers’ mean nothing.
YOU put these people in office, Melissa.
'Oh, look, she's a kind republican. A caring one. A Progressive One who is different from the rest of them. A good one. She advocates both for gun rights and safety- she's sensible! She does more than thoughts and prayers. How great is she. So special.'
No. I don't care how many 'gun safety' rallies you go to. Republicans are all in bed with the NRA. YOU VOTE REPUBLICAN, EVERY SINGLE SHOOTING IS ON YOUR SHOULDERS.
Oh and by the way, I happen to notice that two weeks ago, she's in the news complaining that her Clarissa Explains it All reboot has stalled.
A week ago, she's in the news because she was at a 90s tv convention.
Now, she's in the news with a heroic story about 'saving children from a shooting.'
And now thanks to her Big Damn Hero moment (which I wonder if it actually happened) maybe- just maybe- the powers that be will realise that she's trending on social media as a 'hero' and magically, that stalled nostalgia reboot will get through the pipeline after all.
And even if that nostalgic little sitcom doesn’t get greenlit, she’s still won- lucky her, this heroic story will come up any time there's a news article about her because she's a Big Damn Hero, and just had to tell you about it. You Needed To Know She’s a Hero.
You didn’t save those children, Melissa, you damned them by putting Republicans in power. Even if you did do something to help those few children, through your votes, you’ve done far worse to so many more people in the end, including those few children.
EVERY VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN IS A VOTE TO ALLOW SHOOTINGS TO CONTINUE.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Y’all don’t understand- I saw the spoilers and I’m hanging onto every last hope that LEGO canonizes this despite what was (probably) confirmed in the captions. Cole being queer is actually so important tho. It makes so much sense for his character. Man’s popped up on screen in 2011 and has been covered in rainbows ever since. I could write an essay on the obvious queercoding of his character since season 1, and with Geo, it’s one agonizing step closer to switching from subtext to text. This would be a bigger step for LEGO than having queer background characters or pride stickers, but it would mean so much to its queer audience. And, again, it fits Cole, especially with his current relationship with Geo.
Please LEGO just do it, it’d be so easy, just one kiss or one scene. PLEASE.

alright everybody can we please stop tagging me/talking about me in the notes of pro keefe/sokeefe posts. i know strieefe has made it so that it's really funny to talk about how much i love him and how much i'm in denial when i say negative things about him under those posts (and that's all in good fun and not the problem), but we have to think about the fact that the ops are just trying to make a positive post and probably don't want a keefe hater in their notes /srs
#i'm not mad or anything like that. promise. it's just a phenomenon i've noticed that has slowly started becoming a trend#it just becomes increasingly difficult to respond in a way that stays true to my opinions while ALSO trying not to offend op#so i usually end up ignoring those mentions or reblogging with like “no comment” or something. which isn't fun for anybody#i've had this happen more than once by more than one person. this is a pro keefe/sokeefe post why are we talking about me of all people#i don't want to offend op with my inevitable anti keefe opinions. talking about keefe haters on a pro keefe post is . . . a choice#i make an effort to try to stay out of pro keefe/sokeefe spaces. trust me when i say i have seen whatever post you're tagging me in#i'm a kotlc tag stalker to the core. i have SEEN these posts don't worry. i just don't interact with them. that's all#when i see them i am definitely tempted to go on a rant about how wrong op is about sophie and keefe's dynamic and how it actually SUCKS#or how much keefe is a shitty character with a poorly written arc and atrocious six-year-old humor. i have written about this AT LENGTH#but guys. the notes of a pro keefe post is NOT the place to be summoning me of all people. what do you even want me to say#i've been @ed on posts like “i love sokeefe” “keefe sencen. you agree. reblog” “people that don't understand sokeefe just don't get it”#<- all fake examples btw. but close enough to real posts i've been summoned to#and it's like. i mean yes i COULD go on a rant about how much i thoroughly disagree. but like. it's just not polite. so i won't#atp how am i even supposed to respond to your mention? i don't even know#on top of that if i reblog a pro keefe post with an anti keefe response for all my probably mostly anti keefe followers to see----#----then they'll agree with me. that version will get reblogged and soon there might be more people on op's post that disagree with them#okay this got way more incoherent than originally intended. hopefully it got the point across. and so on#just things to think about! nothing wrong with @ing me on keefe posts just think about how you want me to respond before @ing me----#----or if i will even be able to respond in any real capacity at all#kotlc#kotlc fandom#keepblr

So. Punz and George. They're both very much defined by their relationships with Dream, probably more than anyone else on the server. It's hard to talk about Punz without bringing up Dream, and it's hard to talk about George without referencing him either. They have lives, of course, but Dream is always at the forefront of their minds. Punz spent a whole year of their life just waiting for Dream's escape; George dreams away the days even after the jailbreak in a fantasy world of his imagination where everything is perfect and he can be with Dream.
But they don't really have a relationship. They don't talk, especially not about Dream, because that would show that they cared, and George is trying to deny that to himself after the dethronement and Punz cannot allow anyone to consider even for a moment that they are on Dream's side or it was all for nothing. So the relationship they do have, weak and distant as it is, is based on bitterness and perceived betrayals and envy.
George doesn't really think about Punz much. If he did, he'd had to think about Dream, and not his Dream, not the Dream that exists only in his dreams now, but the actual, real Dream. The Dream who dethroned him without a second glance. The Dream he abandoned. The Dream locked away in an obsidian prison, rotting away as George sleeps. And George doesn't want to think about Punz. Not when it pulls him out of his dreams and makes him think about Dream.
When he does think about Punz, though, he's not exactly a fan of them. They betrayed Dream; undeniably, inexcusably, they did. They had his trust, and they threw it away for a little extra bit of money. George would never do something like that. Dream left first, after all. Dethroned George first and told him he didn't care what happened to him. Dream never did that to Punz.
And that's important. Dream never turned against Punz; they were the one who chose to betray him. Dream never quite trusted George the same way he did with Punz, and, in the period leading up to the dethronement, he let George in on less and less of his plans, grew closer and closer to his mercenary. George told himself it was because Dream wanted to keep him safe. After the dethronement, he accepted the fact that Dream just didn't care about him anymore, and that it had been a sign of that.
George tells himself that if he had been in the situation as Punz, if Dream trusted him, he would of never done what they did.
Punz...doesn't have a great opinion of George, to tell the truth. They might of pretended to betray Dream, but George (and Sapnap, and everyone who was there and just watched it happen) is the one who actually did. George left. He left and didn't come back, didn't even show up for the arrest/execution (because that's what it really was, an execution, no use dancing around it). He didn't even go visit Dream in Pandora's Vault, even when he had every chance to, even when he didn't have a plan dictating that he absolutely could not do that. Not like Punz did.
Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Uncaring. Those are the nicest words for what George is, at least to Punz. Dream died, twice, and George was nowhere to be found. Just because Dream had been trying to keep him safe. To make sure people didn't try to target George to hurt Dream. And George just left, like that was an option in this game they were all playing, that none of them save Wilbur had chosen to play, like you could just throw up your hands and say "okay, that's it, I'm done" and leave with immunity, taking everything you've done with you. That wasn't how the world worked. And it didn't matter if George understood that or not, because it still hurt Dream, and that was what was important. Because what George did was a betrayal, and because they were already familiar enough with that to know how bitter it tasted. Because Punz had to constantly pretend and reap what they had sown and deal with this betrayal they had committed - not the one they were infamous for but the one in their heart and their brain and the way people looked at them and laughed with them and the way they had agreed to the plan and let Dream die and the sneaking suspicion they had, growing louder every day, that something had gone wrong and that they had to do something about it but that too would be a betrayal - but George didn't, just because he had been there earlier and knew some people longer. Because people trusted him more and he didn't have to prove how reliable he was and how much he hated Dream and all that.
And because George had Dream's love in a way Punz never could. Dream loved too freely, that much was true, but he flinches at every motion Punz that was a little too fast, a little too sudden, and makes sure to call everything a business arrangement, makes sure they're mercenary and client, makes sure to suppress any little trace of attachment that could get either of them hurt. And, even now, even after George has gone and left, Dream still loves George; Punz isn't too blind to reality to miss it. And they had kinder days together, back before everything went wrong; there were no kinder days for Punz, and there never had been.
Despite everything, they're two sides of the same coin: wishing for something that is no longer reachable, no longer possible, because things have changed and because people have changed. Because Dream has changed, partially due to the decisions they made, and there isn't anything they can do to go back to how it was. Not truly.
And neither of them really care about anything or anyone else. They're not here to fight for ideals or morals, they just want to keep the people they love safe and away from the people who would want to hurt them. They are willing to kill for it, but, because of who Dream is, and because that would put them in danger, they can't. They're not allowed to, explicitly in Punz's case, implicitly by Dream pushing George away. Because Dream wants to keep the people he cares about safe, and that can't happen if it looks like he cares about them or vice versa.
(It's only okay if Dream's the one getting hurt, after all)

I guess I’m in a posting mood where I post crack posts, theories and takes. I have way more. But I’m talking about descendants right now.
I hate people that hate on mal. NOW, she did do a lot of fucked up stuff. Drugging someone and attempting to erase their memories is wrong. I’m not denying that nor am I excusing her actions.
However, Auradon doesn’t know how to handle mental health. All their people are happy and well adjusted. As far as we know, they all had good parents and happy childhoods.
The isle (at least in the books) had vicious child abuse. Carlos was locked in a room filled with bear traps and had to get furs. Evie obviously grew up with huge insecurities due to her mom’s thing on looks. I think Jay slept on the floor (though out of all of them I think he had the best parent. Not an award because you’re the best of the worst, but whatever). Mal’s mom was constantly manipulating her and controlling her. She created this narrative for mal. Love is evil and weak, people not inviting you is slighting you, you have to be the strongest on the isle, your mother’s daughter. The books went into more detail and it’s been a while since I read the book, so excuse my mis-remembering.
But the isle was not a fun place and aurdon is so, they don’t deal with mental health issues. So none of the vk kids have dealt with that.
So when we start at d2 it’s been six months and they just threw mal into that position. They gave her no time to adjust, put all their stuff on her (blonde hair vs. purple) and just expected her to be okay with it.
Now, a child with a parent that forces them to try and be the best and puts all their worth on impressing people for love (aka mal and her mom’s whole situation) is going to carry that even when realizing their mom sucks. So they put mal into a huge amount of responsibility maybe six months later without any sort of therapy or support system, because the isle kids are messed up and the aurodan kids aren’t so they don’t know how to help. So magic becomes her sort of safety net.
Her friends and Ben obviously love her. That’s true, but from what we’re shown in the beginning of the movie, they aren’t helping with the pressure. Evie is trying to have her give up magic and Ben is giving her gifts and helping the paparazzi but none of them are actually getting to the root cause. No one is helping lift the pressure she’s putting on herself. No one seems to even notice that that’s the problem.
Mal is trying so hard to be perfect and what everyone wants her to be, so she’s using spells to help her. She wants them to know she’s trying and she wants to love her. She might know they do, but it’s unconscious at this point. She was sixteen in the first movie. So she’s like seventeen. This is something in her mind, ingrained for sixteen years. They gave her less than six months to undo that herself.
Obviously her actions are not justified or right, but saying she’s evil and awful when what happened was a very traumatized teenager who was shoved into responsibility she wasn’t ready for, snapped, is also wrong. She’s not right, but her snapping was inevitable. This entire thing could’ve been solved had her friends and loved ones talked things out with her. If they could see the stress before it boiled over. Maybe it was because of it being a movie but her stress wasn’t really hidden. Maybe from Ben, but from Evie? This could’ve been solved had they intervened or had aurodan grew a brain and realized villain kids aren’t evil but they sure are messed up.

i think part of the reason people are so hateful about fat people is because theyre not fat, even though they put little to no effort into their diet and daily activity levels. even if they dont live healthy lifestyles and theyre not trying to, and theyre still a "normal" weight. and because theyre ignorant and resistant to learning about how peoples bodily functions vary wildly, anyone who is fat must have brought it upon themselves by being extra lazy or extra glutinous and if they were normal they wouldnt be fat and its soooo easy to not be fat because look at them theyre not fat. which is so fucking stupid because so many people complain about how skinny people exist without "earning" how skinny they are, theyre literally just like that even if they eat tons of food because they're trying desperately not to be skinny. but the opposite cant be true for fat people apparently. fatness is always a direct consequence of abnormal habits apparently.

Claudia was the best out of all of them.
The brilliant vampire, the best companion, the most devoted lover. Not demented AND devoted. Just devoted, because she wanted to be loved as she was, but she also wanted to love. She didn't need admiration, she didn't try to shape Madeleine into anything, she didn't want only one way of life, she wanted life itself. And life wanted her, even for a small moment in time.
I know, all of those vampires are alluring and interesting. I love Lestat, he's a driving force for me in reading books, but oh my god. It makes me want to barf because of how easily him and Louis let Claudia down. Yeah, I know. The youngest son that did everything for his family to survive and god only crumbs of affection from his mother. The oldest son that took responsibility for his family amongst a bunch of racist bastards that would through him under the bus without a thought. But they never asked what it was like for Claudia before. Never really told her. Only read her diaries to find out.
I don't want to dig into Louis, because I have too many thoughts. Most of all, Claudia was totally right about him. Completely. Choose another one over her. Let her be abused by Armand. Turned Madeleine, but so what? Gave her a minute of happiness in exchange for years of torture and uncertainty. Reluctant support. I don't hate Louis. But if he had listened to Claudia just one time. Or drove her away from Paris forever. Done anything, really.
She still loved him. Still asked him for help. Still turned to him for reassurance. Probably, didn't believe him in the end, because she was better than all of them.
And Madeleine clutching her dress when Louis was being dragged away? Their little coven was solidified way before Madeleine was turned. The society refused to treat them well as they were, refused to ask honest questions and listen to the answers. Human or vampire. I often think that The Dark Gift blurs the prejudices or softens preferences in terms of lovers. But it also emplifies everything. Santiago was right, they are all monsters. Memory is a monster. Love is one too.
I adore this version of Claudia and I am positively biased towards her. I know she was always meant to die. Any version of her was meant to die. But ohmygods it doesn't make it hurt any less.
There's no good vampires. But she was the best out of the entirety of Paris. She deserved a life with Madeleine, someone who chose her first.
Fuck these vampires.

One thing that has deeply annoyed me about the response from Americans/Westerners about this week's events in Korea is that a lot of them, including people I like and respect, are like, "The protesting civilians and lawmakers who barged into the National Assembly would've been shot if this were the U.S./this would've never happened in the U.S. because people are too afraid of being shot." There's some truth to that, at least with regard to state violence, but I'm fed up because it doesn't account for how frightening this could have turned out to be had it not been for how much of an inept flop dunce Yoon Sukyeol is. It minimizes the courage of those who showed up.
Sure, it was likely that the military and riot police wouldn't have done much (again, YSY's self-coup wasn't thought out well, and there's more evidence of that as military officials and soldiers are speaking up about the lack of information they received, but I'll refrain from talking about that to avoid making this even longer than it inevitably will be, knowing myself), but let's not pretend there haven't been issues with them in recent years. They pepper sprayed and used water cannons during an anniversary rally for the Sewol ferry victims (x) (x) (if you don't understand how unbelievably cruel that is, look into the horrific Sewol ferry sinking). They tear gassed crowds (Korea has a gruesome history of this) and sprayed water cannons, and citizens have been injured and killed during the 2015 protests and 2016-17 Park Geunhye impeachment protests, notably Baek Namgi, an elderly activist whose death caused global outrage (x) (x). Park Geunhye was going to enforce martial law during those protests according to a leaked document, with hundreds of tanks, thousands of soldiers and special force troops! (x)
Not to mention, there are decades of extreme state violence that have scarred an entire country and are still super fresh for a huge percentage of the population. Again, check out that tear gas history piece. Look up the April Revolution, Gwangju massacre, and June uprising and see just how bloody they were. Thousands of civilians were tortured and killed. Look at how many protests were going on year after year during the 1980s. That isn't that long ago! All those older people who ran to the National Assembly to stop the coup? You bet a lot of them were college students who protested during that time or knew people who did. All the younger people? They may not have experienced what it was like living under martial law, but as I said, state violence still occurs, however much it's dwindled over the years, and you have to account for generational trauma. I don't think I'll ever forget the way I felt when I saw the breaking news alert about the martial law declaration on December 3. I've never experienced that, at least to that degree.
Instead of viewing the response from civilians and elected officials through the framework of police brutality in the U.S., it should be contextualized using Korea's own history. Thankfully most of the serious discussions are doing this, but like I said, even people who are smart about reading up on things have reflected on how this wouldn't fly in the U.S., not because of the difference in protest history, civil movements, and public engagement with both in the two countries but because of the military/police response. There's an insinuation there that Koreans would be more reluctant to do what they did if they knew what it's like to live in fear of violence instead of living in such a safe country like Korea...and I want to yell.
It was monumentally brave of everyone to do what they did to stop the coup. We're all laughing at how stupid the coup was and there's a reason why people were more furious than scared because of the political history of Korea and the laws set in place to protect the democracy and neutralize coup attempts, but this could have easily become a disaster. It's not alarmist of me to say so because there was no way for anyone to be 100% sure of how the military would react—especially when no one knew what the hell was going on.
#i am...not vibing with these posts about how people are like 'omg those poor soldiers/good on them for dragging their feet'#yes mandatory military service means being there against your will#and i DO believe a lot of soldiers probably were super shaken or confused by what was going on#especially with the news coming out that soldiers weren't aware of what their mission was#to find out your orders and see your people look at you with rage disgust and maybe even fear especially as a young person...#i get that it's upsetting and you can tell that a lot of them didn't want to be there!#but lol are we forgetting there are people who weren't conscripts involved?#are we forgetting that people will follow directions if it's drilled into them to do say especially with the threat of retaliation?#are we forgetting that mandatory military service goes back decades#and amazingly soldiers and police still committed atrocities against civilians during previous protests or what?#idk i think it's your moral duty to engage in weaponized incompetence malicious compliance insubordination etc.#when you're asked to do something evil so i don't really want to praise people for being decent#even if i'm glad they did and i'm relieved they did it you know? but that's just me#omg sorry i'm ranting. ANYWAY! history in every single country has shown#how easy it can be for things to go south rapidly so while there were things that made the coup expire as quickly as it did#and it's HILARIOUS and i'm enjoying myself...it could have turned out very different#just a few wrong turns—just ONE wrong turn—and it could have been bad#rules and orders are good and all but if someone wants to commit violence they will do it#i'm just relieved i didn't have time to worry myself sick over this before it was all over lmao#so i can just feel a lot of pride and admiration for everyone doing their best to exercise and protect their rights#and do it with great panache and fun. the protests are like concerts! the protest songs are so funny#the signs!!!!! i'm dying over them. the number of people paying for food and drinks for the protestors#enough that businesses in the protest areas had to stop taking prepaid orders!#the older people who said they have to get to the front that night to protect all the young protestors with their bodies#in case the military tries to attack civilians! 😭 that part made me almost cry#the ajusshi who (drunkenly?) shouted how much he loved all his friends who came out to protest like the old days#democracy is fragile and we have to protect it#and i think korea right now is a shining beacon of the power of the people

Oh shit I forgot to post this
Tumblr media
I have made Time a Honorary member of Space dad club. I shall explain the insanity of the thought: The chain is literally traveling across time and SPACE! Not in the outerspace sense, but it's still space as they are basically teleporting or traveling through wormholes across time, changing the space they end up in. So Time is a Honorary Space Dad.
So in the future when I doodle them, I can have Shiro (Voltron Legendary defenders) drinking tea with Time, talking about their kids, with Star Saber (Transformers Victory not IDW, IDW Saber did not adopt a human child, he is not a father he is not the real Autobot Commander Dad Star Saber, he is not my Star Saber), Optimus Prime (Probably be Prime or Skybound's version of OP) and Great Shot (Also known as Sixshot who is a Decepticon; Greatshot is a new body of Sixshot, also new idenity to hide from the Six Clan to turely fake his death, and to attone as his time as a Decepticon, in the transformers G1 Japanese continuity, who's an autobot thanks to Star Saber)

after much thought and consideration, i've decided to bring my boruto opinions to the forefront
HOWEVER
TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. i clocked out of watching boruto—because i had the series and not the manga—a LONG time ago. so, please correct me if i am wrong about anything. because just maybe there is something from the anime and/or manga that can give me clarity or change my opinions after learning such.
2. whether these are popular or unpopular opinions, it doesn't matter—it's an opinion, nonetheless.
3. if you get easily triggered, do not read. i don't wanna argue, but i'm open hearing out other opinions (this is also just me ranting out to the void because i don't have much friends who have watched/read naruto and/or boruto).
4. this is only part one of my many opinions that i have. i have so much to say about this anime.
NOW, ONTO MY OPINIONS 👇🏼
starting off with the basics: naruto being a terrible dad still gets me to this day. the man who wanted nothing more than a family to call his own... is a terrible father?? as in, uzumaki naruto?! the same uzumaki naruto i know and love?? get the fuck off my screen. i donʼt want to hear it. because HOW do turn HIM—UZUMAKI NARUTO—to SOLELY being the hokage and nothing else? i know, his ultimate goal or whatever, but come on. DON'T PISS ME OFF.
this is one is a bit nit-picky, but boruto's name alone pisses me off. there REALLY couldn't have been another name? okay, okay, it can be plausible that it's a connection to neji's name (bolt - boruto, screw - neji) but STILL there could've been a better way to honour neji (and his undeserving death but WHATEVER, this is a boruto rant—not a naruto shippuden rant).
WHOEVER in the writing room decided to kill off kurama... I AM IN YOUR WALLS. i did not watch naruto and kurama go off a tumultuous relationship to acceptance for KURAMA to be killed. ONLY to—somehow— be “revived” through himawari in the timeskip?!? DON'T PISS ME OFF
sasuke being a deadbeat. i also don't get it because didn't this man want to revive the clan? BEFORE YOU COME AT ME—i understand, that he was talking about reviving the HONOUR of the uchiha clan at 12 years old back then. HOWEVER, you mean to tell me when sakura got pregnant during their trip, gave birth to sarada, and everything... he wouldn't feel responsibility for HIS CHILD?! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME HE CHOSE THE VILLAGE OVER HIS CHILD?! THE SAME VILLAGE THAT ORCHESTRATED THE UCHIHA CLAN DOWNFALL, i— lemme shut up.
that whole “sarada could be karin's daughter” in the sarada uchiha arc...bye. i hated that arc so much. yes, i know sarada unlocked the sharingan through the intensive feelings of the thought of reuniting with sasuke, but STILL, that arc pissed me off so much. don't get me started on sasuke almost killing his DAUGHTER for mistaking her as a shin clone. you mean to tell me this man mistook his daughter — who he definitely knew had the possibility of unlocking the sharingan one day because she's the ONLY uchiha around from the leaf and HIS CHILD — as a shin clone? miss me with that bullshit, because now mine and sasuke's intelligence are being insulted.
the hidden mist village... oh, okay. while i love a good rebrand, let's not act like their history of being the “bloody mist” can be swept under the rug because of the modernisation of the village now. yes, i understand that it's been 15 years after the fourth shinobi war, but are there not lingering tension amongst the villages? yes, i know the whole trip arc or whatever to the hidden mist was to smoothen out the alliance between the leaf and mist. and yes, i know it was addressed in the arc, still a crazy rebrand.
which leads me to my next point... did naruto ever change/revamp or whatever with the hidden rain? like he vowed to pain/nagato? because that was a big thing in shippuden, wasn't it? anyways—
orochimaru not being in jail is pissing me AWF. the snake ass bitch did the most unethical shit and crimes and STILL has freedom? who gave orochimaru immunity? because how come he gets to be free and be out there creating log and mitsuki? he did experiments on children, kidnapped children, defected the village, joined terrorist organisation: the akatsuki, killed hiruzen (i know we all hate him, but he still killed the man), and so much more. HOW WAS HE PARDONED?? because of his involvement in the war?? DON'T PISS ME OFF.
now kara... this akatsuki-wannabe organisation that is guised under the means of a secret society... get this off my screen. their cloaks and roman numeral tattoos, their inner and outer members... if i don't go, you'll be picking them up from the floor, and rushing them to sakura’s hospital. so i need to exit to the left before i hurt feelings (yes, this is a nene leakes reference from rhoa)
something about sakura not having discussions about sasuke - beyond that he loves them and is out on a mission - during sarada's formative years IRRITATES me. yes, i understand, some things are not for children's ears - uchiha clan downfall, sasuke’s defection, sasuke almost killing sakura - but you meant to tell me sakura didn't have any stories about sasuke during their time of the blank period to tell sarada? stories that could give sarada some sort of image about sasuke? nothing? oh, okay.
the anbu black ops? are we still operating? i'd assume so, since sai is the chief commander or whatever but honestly, what use is the anbu if this is an era of peace? were there still high-stake missions in such times? (i'm talking pre-kara btw). we get to see konohamaru using the mask in that one mission but is that it? i mean, at least children are no longer - hopefully - recruited into the organisation.
kawaki irritated me so much. to think, the timeskip wouldn't occur because of his existence. not only that, but to say boruto only gets better in the timeskip... that's does not sound as good as the boruto fans think. a TIMESKIP has to make the anime good and make sense?? log out and exit to the left for me, please.
