Then comes the reveal that their father is a secret Moondancer who has been quietly helping drows who wanted an 'out' of life in Menzo. Mira was so close to her father, and to Mordred; it is obvious that all this disloyalty to the house and to Lloth rooted from their father.

Yadda yadda, then as to prove the house's loyalty to Lloth, the goddess commanded their mother to execute their father, and on the same note; for Mira to execute Mordred (he's seen as his father's seed still; and seen as useless since Mira is available to continue the legacy)

Surprisingly, despite feeling unfair and and angered---Mordred agrees. He'd rather die and see their house survives than leaving it in the dust. But Mira DOES NOT like that one bit. She had lost her father, and she does NOT want to lose her brother. Blantantly defying Lloth to save her brother's life, Mira grabbed Mordred and ran off from Menzoberranzan.

Mordred LOATHED Mira for her decision in this, for dooming their house AND for (in a way) cutting him off from Lloth---despite it was her way of saving his LIFE---years spent in resentment, eventually Mordred split ways from her sister. (in a way, he WANTS to kill her, but perhaps somewhere deep inside he couldn't, so) Leaving her alone as his way of 'thanking' her for sparing his life.

You often joked that he should've taken the easy route cause you would've asked him for his fingernails instead– albeit you'd likely draw it out of him in a more torturous and sadistic manner– but it's a lot less permanent than a heart, right?

Alhaitham chuckled.

He found you funny. It should be concerning that the only person that could make him chuckle is a demon, but he had been dubbed a lunatic several times that this fact did not faze him.

CW talk of violent gestures and mental health

This time, to do with Jacksepticeye. And no, not because he had to do a project about Pinterest when he was in college and no I don't know why i remember that tidbit but I do.

Over the past few years, he's been. Changing. and I get it, grieving does that to someone, but it seemed that most of the change happened after he processed most of the griving and got back into the swing of things? He started getting more careless, more Mr Beast-ish, just becoming a different person entirely.

And then sometime last month, he uploaded a video that was something along the lines of "People are always like 'Oh, you're so innocent', 'you would never hurt a fly'. Oh yeah?" And then fairly intensely pulls up his fist and lunges at his phone like he was going to punch you through the camera. He follows it up by saying "Then why did you flinch? ...that's what I thought."

As someone who grew up in an incredibly abusive environment that had more non-physical violence than physical (to the degree that I WISH they had just beat the sht out of me so there was evidence of what was happening), and as someone who has a variety of friends from a variety of abusive backgrounds, AND as someone who has learned psychology AND as someone who can remember accidentally making my friend flinch despite her reassurances that she's okay she just startles really really easily, my opinion of him. Quickly went from bad to worse.

Which is fine, you know, he's not for everyone, I get that, and people change.

And then, as I'm cleaning out my Pinterest because I need to shuffle emails around for my own safety and sanity, I read this. And it's specifically the last comment that made me remember that video.

"I never truly trusted my male friends in the past for this exact reason. Women have a sense of loyalty, men absolutely do not, they only care about themselves."

As I'm typing this and thinking about the differences between Markiplier and Jacksepticeye in more recent years, it makes me wonder.

I'm actually going to stop myself right there because I started giving a brief character analysis of the two of them and ultimately it boils down to this: both men are - as of now - far from unwilling to get playfully violent with a camera and, in turn, their audience. Mark has a very playful humour where it's abundantly clear that whenever it happens, it is dramatized. It is a character. He's known as YouTube's silly goofy golden boy for honestly a pretty good reason. Does this excuse the violent gestures? Absolutely not, but it provides a lot of context that lets you know what to expect so you know how and when to distance yourself.

Jack/Sean on the other hand pulled up with this out of the blue. Not a dramatic scene, not a skit, just a video intentionally trying to make his audience flinch. This is a man who several years ago, 2018, tried to do the same thing and very quickly faltered saying that he'd never do that. He would never gesture to hurt someone.

To me at least the key takeaway is Mark very much plays like and has the emotional attitutde of a dog, where if the other party shows ANY sign of genuinely being hurt, he stops immediately. No questions asked. Aside from himself, which is a psychology rant I'll have to go on some other time regarding medical trauma.

Jack...Jack doesn't. I don't know what he plays as anymore. Not even a cat, he's just. Distant. More superficial. He plays like a man now. And I don't mean that in a good way.

They still call her Arturia (TECHNICALLY they call her Arthuria, because i love that name and no one will take it from me) because the few years that Uther was with them, he called Arturia "Arthur" because he wanted a boy and he couldnt cope (theres the History repeats itself motif and also misogynistic men like that still exist), so Morgan used Arthur*ia* as a nickname, and it stuck

This is where i will confess that im thinking of using a different name for Arturia, i already Kinda do in my notes. As in legal name (thinking of Aurlyn, which is similar but different enough). I would be doing the same with some of the Orkney siblings whose names would not be as common in the modern world or too obvious a reference, while still being named after the knights (Gareth would stay as Gareth cuz thats literally still a mormal name people use, but a name like Agravain or Mordred arent as common, ig. Or Gawain. And Gaheris. Actually only Gareth has a mormal fcking name)

All the labs for Forest Ecology are outside in the forest at my uni and for our final lab exam we have to memorize how to ID 70 indicator plants and their latin names and soil moisture and soil nutrients just from their branches - it'll be a fun challenge! One of my profs is WORLD FAMOUS for her research and I freaked out when I found out she was my prof. I also have been keeping in touch with a couple of profs from last year and it's been so great chatting with them - they said I could maybe TA their courses next year 👀 I've also been making an effort to make more friends and introduce myself - I've found a lot of people I met last year we kinda were just class friends and not really friends friends which is fine because that happens - I just wanna get to know more people and make more friends and find those I really click with. So far a few from last year I've still found to have stuck around which is nice :) I've also met some really nice new friends and it makes me so happy (some not so nice but that's okay I just won't try talking to them anymore haha). used to become a part of the yakuza, particularly the top hitman of the Iwa family (see my reference there)

his parents were both hitmen who tried to run away from the yakuza but were killed by osa, later on adopted him legally and made him yui's fiance at birth

contrary to canon, he's been interacting with yui a lot before their formal engagement ceremony so yeah they be closer than ever but they weren't obviously close

ran away with yui from the yakuza bcos he wanted the two of them to live normal lives so they stayed at a rundown apartment for like a few days, hiding from the yakuza constantly

that is until he was forced to confront osa and kill him mercilessly by disembowelling him and shooting his head 10 times

his last act as the hollow involved killing 4 to 5 men with a helmet and scissors after they almost harassed yui

stayed at a crime and rehabilitation center owned by the yamada clan afterwards since they were both minors plus yui was dealing with ptsd episodes

he and yui are still part of the iwa family tho but the yakuza part of the clan is not after them anymore

was still able to continue school bcos of jikka's interference (uhh let's just say he became the gabiyui caretaker) so yeah he transferred school midway in his term

people are still sht scared of him bcos of his reputation as a delinquent

none of the yakuza underdogs from other clans fight him anymore after receiving news of his defect from the iwa clan (shija just gives him criminal offensive side eye tho)

even burned her face, a reminder of the yakuza's imprint on her

yui healed after being taken to a crime and rehabilitation center, accepting everything that has happened and finally being able to live with gabimaru in peace

now that she is a normal high school girl, you would think yui's life is rainbows and colorful butterflies

nah, she only got nasty rumors abt her being a spoiled yakuza princess and the scar might be an appeal for pity

fun fact: yui is in the same year as tenza, sagiri, and yuzuriha but sagiri and yuzu are from different class

one time tenza was helping yui with class duties bcos there were a lot of heavy materials and girls think she was two-timing gabimaru

so they confronted her abt it at the back of the school building, even threatened to do something to gabimaru, and the next thing yui broke the bones on their wrists (you think yui can't? she can. it's canon that she can crush chestnuts with bare hands)

I have a sister, 9 years older, a btch, emotionaly 4bus1v3, ect ect. Well none of that really matters but I felt like adding it.

My sister has been CRAZY about l0s1ng w31ght, like it's been years since she's started n she's been h0sp1t4l1z3d SO many times till 2 years ago. Now she's eating more n being more healthy but still very crazy about losing. She's close to 60 kg, still above it tho, n like least 4-5 kg more than me. She lost like 7 kg these 2 months or so n got a fcking th1gh g4p??? She just showed me it n said that it used to be close (between her th1ghs) n now there's a gap? She was so happy n stuff????
