Personally, I love Mordred. He is like, my angry chew squishy toy, just lost and bit misguided (doesn't discount that he's an 4ss) i mean look at him, frowny lil sht

but here's a quick run-down how Mira & Mordred's relationship is like:

His disdain against Mira grew stronger knowing that Mira is much more interested in mundane and trivial things and NOT the house's best interests. So from this, their relationship is definitely not in the good term.

Then comes the reveal that their father is a secret Moondancer who has been quietly helping drows who wanted an 'out' of life in Menzo. Mira was so close to her father, and to Mordred; it is obvious that all this disloyalty to the house and to Lloth rooted from their father.

Yadda yadda, then as to prove the house's loyalty to Lloth, the goddess commanded their mother to execute their father, and on the same note; for Mira to execute Mordred (he's seen as his father's seed still; and seen as useless since Mira is available to continue the legacy)

Surprisingly, despite feeling unfair and and angered---Mordred agrees. He'd rather die and see their house survives than leaving it in the dust. But Mira DOES NOT like that one bit. She had lost her father, and she does NOT want to lose her brother. Blantantly defying Lloth to save her brother's life, Mira grabbed Mordred and ran off from Menzoberranzan.

Mordred LOATHED Mira for her decision in this, for dooming their house AND for (in a way) cutting him off from Lloth---despite it was her way of saving his LIFE---years spent in resentment, eventually Mordred split ways from her sister. (in a way, he WANTS to kill her, but perhaps somewhere deep inside he couldn't, so) Leaving her alone as his way of 'thanking' her for sparing his life.

CW talk of violent gestures and mental health

This time, to do with Jacksepticeye. And no, not because he had to do a project about Pinterest when he was in college and no I don't know why i remember that tidbit but I do.

Over the past few years, he's been. Changing. and I get it, grieving does that to someone, but it seemed that most of the change happened after he processed most of the griving and got back into the swing of things? He started getting more careless, more Mr Beast-ish, just becoming a different person entirely.

And then sometime last month, he uploaded a video that was something along the lines of "People are always like 'Oh, you're so innocent', 'you would never hurt a fly'. Oh yeah?" And then fairly intensely pulls up his fist and lunges at his phone like he was going to punch you through the camera. He follows it up by saying "Then why did you flinch? ...that's what I thought."

As someone who grew up in an incredibly abusive environment that had more non-physical violence than physical (to the degree that I WISH they had just beat the sht out of me so there was evidence of what was happening), and as someone who has a variety of friends from a variety of abusive backgrounds, AND as someone who has learned psychology AND as someone who can remember accidentally making my friend flinch despite her reassurances that she's okay she just startles really really easily, my opinion of him. Quickly went from bad to worse.

Which is fine, you know, he's not for everyone, I get that, and people change.

And then, as I'm cleaning out my Pinterest because I need to shuffle emails around for my own safety and sanity, I read this. And it's specifically the last comment that made me remember that video.

"I never truly trusted my male friends in the past for this exact reason. Women have a sense of loyalty, men absolutely do not, they only care about themselves."

As I'm typing this and thinking about the differences between Markiplier and Jacksepticeye in more recent years, it makes me wonder.

I'm actually going to stop myself right there because I started giving a brief character analysis of the two of them and ultimately it boils down to this: both men are - as of now - far from unwilling to get playfully violent with a camera and, in turn, their audience. Mark has a very playful humour where it's abundantly clear that whenever it happens, it is dramatized. It is a character. He's known as YouTube's silly goofy golden boy for honestly a pretty good reason. Does this excuse the violent gestures? Absolutely not, but it provides a lot of context that lets you know what to expect so you know how and when to distance yourself.

Jack/Sean on the other hand pulled up with this out of the blue. Not a dramatic scene, not a skit, just a video intentionally trying to make his audience flinch. This is a man who several years ago, 2018, tried to do the same thing and very quickly faltered saying that he'd never do that. He would never gesture to hurt someone.

To me at least the key takeaway is Mark very much plays like and has the emotional attitutde of a dog, where if the other party shows ANY sign of genuinely being hurt, he stops immediately. No questions asked. Aside from himself, which is a psychology rant I'll have to go on some other time regarding medical trauma.

Jack...Jack doesn't. I don't know what he plays as anymore. Not even a cat, he's just. Distant. More superficial. He plays like a man now. And I don't mean that in a good way.

Like for example I saw yet another person the other day bashing Jonathan and this was like the MILLIONTH person to say this 'Jonathan NEVER apologized to Nancy but Steve apologized to Jonathan' which they know is COMPLETE BS on BOTH accounts.

There is a scene of Jonathan apologizing to Nancy in the red room right after she comes to get him at the funeral place while he is shopping for Will's coffin. Jonathan did apologize to Nancy for it. In fact, stay tuned. I can probably post the scene.

They still call her Arturia (TECHNICALLY they call her Arthuria, because i love that name and no one will take it from me) because the few years that Uther was with them, he called Arturia "Arthur" because he wanted a boy and he couldnt cope (theres the History repeats itself motif and also misogynistic men like that still exist), so Morgan used Arthur*ia* as a nickname, and it stuck

This is where i will confess that im thinking of using a different name for Arturia, i already Kinda do in my notes. As in legal name (thinking of Aurlyn, which is similar but different enough). I would be doing the same with some of the Orkney siblings whose names would not be as common in the modern world or too obvious a reference, while still being named after the knights (Gareth would stay as Gareth cuz thats literally still a mormal name people use, but a name like Agravain or Mordred arent as common, ig. Or Gawain. And Gaheris. Actually only Gareth has a mormal fcking name)

ALSO mordred is Morgan and Lot's kid in this. No weird cloning in my modern AU. Genetics from the pendragon hit hard tho, they still look like Arturia

All the labs for Forest Ecology are outside in the forest at my uni and for our final lab exam we have to memorize how to ID 70 indicator plants and their latin names and soil moisture and soil nutrients just from their branches - it'll be a fun challenge! One of my profs is WORLD FAMOUS for her research and I freaked out when I found out she was my prof. I also have been keeping in touch with a couple of profs from last year and it's been so great chatting with them - they said I could maybe TA their courses next year 👀 I've also been making an effort to make more friends and introduce myself - I've found a lot of people I met last year we kinda were just class friends and not really friends friends which is fine because that happens - I just wanna get to know more people and make more friends and find those I really click with. So far a few from last year I've still found to have stuck around which is nice :) I've also met some really nice new friends and it makes me so happy (some not so nice but that's okay I just won't try talking to them anymore haha). Honestly I was in a super similar situation with the first guy I ever “dated” and had a serious relationship with. and most of all, it was a shock to you that Shuu was in love with someone else

and with a mortal from the school nonetheless

this made you question yourself like why he's in love with a lowly mortal and not you, but at the same time, you can't blame him bcos the girl was a pretty ball of sunshine and you wanted him to be happy

so you distanced yourself from him, even moved out of the manor and rented an apartment unit near the school so you can stop yourself from falling deeper

and for some reason, things got a bit weird bcos Shuu suddenly showed up in his classes and even managed to get high grades (Reiji doesn't know if he will be relieved by this or not)

and whenever there are partner projects, you push him to choose that mortal girl, but he always picks you bcos you're his friend, he knows you better than anyone etc

you just wish he would stop being so kind so you can mend your broken heart easily

then a dance party at school was announced, something like going in pairs

during PE, you heard that this mortal girl was single, prob broke up with a cheating bf and decided to ask Shuu

and then a few days after that, you heard other girls from class say Shuu already has a date to the party

so you're dreaded going to said party like you can't pretend you don't like him and you're happy for them

the triplets were aware of your distress so Ayato said "If you don't come to the party, then it's like you're letting him get to you."

so the party came and yes, you were guarded by Subaru and the triplets

like you're constantly pushing Shuu to that mortal girl

you even grabbed poor Kanato who was abt to eat his cake to the dance floor

Kanato just sighed and when he twirled you around, he suddenly pushed you

ofc you felt someone catch you and judging by the way this person sighed, you knew it was him

so you and Shuu danced and you were like "Why are you sticking with me? You should ask that girl out. You said you like her, remember? Plus, she's your date, right?"

"Yes, we do. You keep avoiding me. What's wrong with you? You used to tell me everything."

and out of frustration and pent-up feelings, you kissed him... then it turned into a full-blown makeout session

but afterward you let him go, your face red and tears flowing from your eyes as you said

"I hope that explains everything that I wanted to say."

and he never saw you after that

you moved out of your apartment, you stopped going to school

he even contacted your parents but they said they don't know where you went

however, you informed them that you were still somewhere in Japan

and yes, you are still willing to go with the engagement (ofc you would bcos you don't want to face Karlheinz's wrath)

Shuu spent his days longing abt you, and it took him weeks before admitting that you were really special to him, even more than that mortal girl

but he wasn't in love with you... at least not yet

after 3 months, the boys were sent out by Karlheinz on a forced vacation in Hokkaido, something about bonding in a hotel with onsen and all that stuff

Subaru locked himself up in his coffin while Reiji proceeded to arrange all the things they've brought to the hotel

the triplets decided to go to an izakaya bar to have fun

and yes Shuu tagged along bcos he didn't want to be alone reminiscing thoughts abt his last moment with you

so when they came into the bar, the triplets suddenly stopped walking, making Shuu bump into Ayato

"Oi Ayato, move it-"

and then he heard that familiar singing voice and when he looked up he saw you on stage singing Tomorrow Never Dies by Sheryl Crow

as you sang the chorus, your gaze met with his and it brought back all the memories you two had from the beginning until you ended it with a kiss

no worries because you managed to choke out the few last lines while staring directly at him

"I see it in your eyes, tomorrow never dies."

I have a sister, 9 years older, a btch, emotionaly 4bus1v3, ect ect. Well none of that really matters but I felt like adding it.

My sister has been CRAZY about l0s1ng w31ght, like it's been years since she's started n she's been h0sp1t4l1z3d SO many times till 2 years ago. Now she's eating more n being more healthy but still very crazy about losing. She's close to 60 kg, still above it tho, n like least 4-5 kg more than me. She lost like 7 kg these 2 months or so n got a fcking th1gh g4p??? She just showed me it n said that it used to be close (between her th1ghs) n now there's a gap? She was so happy n stuff???? Hello???? I want one too??? I'm so jealous??? I got SO happy for her too cause I can guess what she feels like now she has it n I KNOW how she felt when she was trying to get one/wanted one.

I'm actually SO close to just saying "hey I wanna lose too, can u help" n I actually might. I will def get sht about how I have to eat more "healthy" n "try new things" ect, which will suck cause I have ARFID n can't just eat anything I come across. But I'll probably talk her out of all that n have her help me. Like I really need that. Sht dude the best 4n4 c04ch has been in the same house as me n I haven't even noticed till now?

I'm gonna finish the 3day b1ng3 + f4sts after n see if I start losing. If I don't, I'm gonna ask her for help (without mentioning my 3d).

sorry you’re not feeling well, I got Covid yr 1 and have been getting sick fairly frequently ever since. the new formula of NyQuil is sht from my experience, so you may want to ask a pharmacist to get you something better. Also, maybe some warm tea with honey may help your throat feel better ☕️

Thank you 💕 yeah I got very sick in December right around Christmas and spent 3 days sleeping. I didn't test for Covid but just assumed it was. Right after, my mom & my then bf both got sick with the same symptoms. So idk if I initially had Covid and now it morphed into this or what. I don't share drinks with people, or food really. The only person I kissed for the last year was my then bf so 🤷🏻‍♀️ I use generic cold meds (literally same ingredients) and they work well when I need them. Also I definitely considered taking dexomethorphan but figured I'd save that if the NyQuil didn't help with my symptoms. Currently sipping on chicken broth out of a Winnie the Pooh mug and that helps immensely too (especially when I'm downing cough drops, it helps line my stomach so it doesn't hurt from the cough drops) but tea & honey is always a good option that I seem to forget about! I hope you feel better soon too 🥰
