i honestly think some people (queer and not) are a bit too comfortable asking others what their sexuality is, that’s something someone can tell you if it’s relevant and if they’re ready.

i was at pride yesterday and a friend of a friend (who i’ve met a few times) straight up asked my friend if she was “going as an ally or something else” and i’m like??? that is NOT an appropriate question to ask someone. my friend is openly bi, but she could not have been? like… some ppl are not comfortable sharing their sexuality openly like that, and someone’s sexuality is basically only your business if you’re planning on dating them or something like that, and even then it’s not really appropriate to ask something like that in a big public setting like that.

i know she meant no harm, but it’s not the first time experiencing something like that and that really makes me think about how some ppl need to start thinking more about how personal of a question can be.

some ppl might not know, some might not be comfortable being open about it in a public setting, some might not be ready to tell people etc. and all those ppl have a right to be at pride and other queer events without being questioned, they should be able to be as comfortable as possible!

Sigh I swear the bar is so low with writing sometimes.

I’ve just been remembering how much it bothers me when there’s no lasting consequences or acknowledgement for things. When everything resets like nothing ever happened at the start of the next episode, or even the next scene sometimes. How cool and rare it was that Wally’s arm was in a cast for a whole 5 episodes of Young Justice. How relieved/excited I was when Mulder actually still had bandages on his fingers the episode after he broke them because FINALLY something carried over! Or when Hook was leaning on someone for support in the background after the fight scene in Pan. How impressed I was to see Katniss still crying hysterically for Rue a few scenes after her death. How surprised I was to actually see a hint of the effect of Echo’s extremely traumatic experience when he panicked in the medbay. How my heart soared when he insisted on rescuing Gregor because omg he’s acting in a way that makes sense for his character! Clinging to every small scrap we get to see of clones showing real emotion when so often they seemingly never bat an eye at their losses and never mention their fallen brothers again.

I love these shows I swear, but it just gets so frustrating! Like I’ll literally be so nervous no one will be affected realistically, or react like a human, or behave in-character and then I get so excited on the rare occasions they do. And then I realize wow the bar is so low, shouldn't that just be, you know, writing 101?

Like I remember some episode of some show (the Seeker? Or something idk) where a character was captured and tortured and not ten minutes after being rescued his friend was like “hmm you sure are quiet today” like YEAH I SURE HOPE HE IS?!

Canonically none of my trolls are like “straight” in the human sense lol they don’t exactly have a concept of it or like most human sexualities due to different social norms and all to them it’s like baseline everything is a valid relationship and any gender expression is also just as valid (why I tend to mark them as masc fem or enby presenting not male or female weird biology headcanon stuff yada yada they are not human) their universes Alternians are more concerned with blood anyways.

Considering quadrants everyone here is technically poly to an extent that’s literally just a cultural thing with seeking out two partners. ANYWAYS.

Sauron is gay he prefers masc romantic partners and he is demi so under the ace umbrella

Falmea is pan and aromantic

Majell is a lesbian she just prefers more fem trolls

Okay, but this lady’s existence really confuses me

So she’s the only person left in Future Nibiru, since everyone left for the capital or Windy Valley, saying she’s too attached to leave. She also says that Kuro looks like someone her mother used to talk about, and I believe she was told to give him a Collectible Star if they meet, implying her mother knew about the time travel. Not only this, but her outfit is very derivative of Fina’s, though not the same at all, and her non-grey hair is green like her. Though she also has brown eyes, which isn’t necessarily special on its own, but Kuro also shares this trait

Pretty much everything about her implies that she’s Fina’s future daughter, presumably with Kuro given the brown eyes and the fact that they have another known kid, that being Sid the Inventor

But it’s in that where the problem lies

Because Sid is met in the Present era, 50 years before this. And based on everything we know, he was born in 943 and grew up in the Past Laboratory with his parents until Giro showed up, and afterwards his dad “abandoned” him and I think his mother, and then his mother died, and this all happened when he was a child in the Past era. Which is 100 years before this time period. He also never mentions having a younger sister

I mean, it’s possible she did exist back then, and that she’s just 100+ years old (since people can live that long and the aging of characters between eras can be inconsistent at times. I mean, Sid’s 56 when we meet him and he looks very good for his age), but also I really don’t know. Considering Sid was 4 when his backstory happened and this lady is presumably younger, how would she remember her mother at all? And she says only her mother, implying that her father wasn’t there to also talk about time travel. Also, why would she be living in Nibiru Village?

If she were in Nibiru during the Present era, I think her existence wouldn’t be nearly as confusing to me, since that lines up with Sid’s age and the time frame Kuro and Fina lived in post-ending. There are still nitpicks I could make like I did above, but I wouldn’t feel much need to. I guess I can see why she isn’t there, considering you start in Present Nibiru and you wouldn’t know anything about the time travel yet

It’s so weird because I feel like Sid’s existence and placement in the timeline makes perfect sense and has several pieces of info to back it up, but then this lady comes in and throws a wrench in everything

Though also from what I understand, she only exists in the second timeline (or at the very least, we meet her in the second timeline), as opposed to Sid who exists in the first. Which might change things about her circumstances, but also when I think about it, makes her existence even more confusing. Unless like, she’s living in Present Nibiru already, and whether or not the Weapon fired determines how long she lives?

So me and @unfunnyaceartist realized that I’m the second coming of Vivziepop, here’s why

1. Very massive world building that the world needs two different projects to explain a majority of it

2. The spin off being more comedy based while the first is more serious

3. Almost everyone in both projects are gay

4. Moth has wings used as a cape (granted my oc wings were based off of Valentino’s but still)

5. Musicals

6. Had the characters of the main show in head for years before going to make a pilot

7. Favorite character they made for the thing having antlers and barely changing

I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I can think of on the spot
