I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.

haymitch having to address 4 different deaths for each district on his victory tour. can anybody hear me. haymitch likely having to play the narrative that the deaths of his family were mysterious unsolved murders and to even make it so, partake in the humiliation ritual of public funerals held within the capitol. haymitch having to keep distance from the other victors because he really is a killer and cannot face it. 47 faces and 47 graves dug all because of him. is this thing on. haymitch being forced to mentor tributes he likely knew as classmates or school peers for the first few years of his victory. can you hear me do you understand !!!! haymitch having his games pulled from every possible outlet and blacklisted because of the shocking nature and traitorous way of his win. haymitch likely facing so much scorn amidst all the grief just for surviving. just for making it back home.

Finally writing down a headcanon thing because the brain said so. This is the first time I'm trying out this kinda format so bear with me. 🙏

How I think the brothers would react to the MC trying a certain tactic on them to get what they want.

"Heyyy, [Brother Name], you know I love you soooooo much, right? I love you so so so much! My dearest beloved!! I just love you sooo much, you're so amazing!"

Lucifer

A look immediately crosses his face. Really? You're doing this now?

He tries not to sigh exasperatedly. He loves you, he does, but this is just annoying. Maybe a little bit endearing.

"What do you want, MC?"

He has heard this many times before from his brothers. Just wishes you'd get on with it, be blunt with what you want.

"You don't have to do this to get what you want, you know that, right?"

Mammon

Is the most likely to have this method work on him, honestly.

Tries to remain cool but his blushing gives him away easily.

"Well, of course ya love me, everybody loves The Great Mammon!"

Folds to anything you want from him, especially if he gets to spend the day with you as a result.

"Listen up, 'cause I'm only sayin' this once: I love ya, too, MC. Anythin' ya want, it's yours."

Leviathan

Instantly thinks you want something, because why else would you be saying this?

Of course, there's no other explanation, he's only loveable when he's good for something, after all.

"You want something, don't you? There's no way you actually love me that much! Why would you actually love a loser like me?"

You likely end up just comforting him and reassuring him that you actually love him instead of getting anything, honestly.

"If you want something, just ask, don't try to trick me with lies and betrayal!"

Satan

Knows you want something but plays along anyway, finding it entertaining.

Thinks it's cute you think this would work on him, he's not Mammon.

"I love you, too, MC. Of course I know I'm amazing, thank you."

Would fold in a heartbeat if you meowed at him, which you eventually end up doing.

"Tch, you little... What is it you want? Anything and it's yours."

Asmodeus

Loves the attention, wishes you'd be like this way more often.

Also thinks you're absolutely adorable. Why go through all this trouble? Surely you know he'd give you what you want regardless.

"Oh, MC, I love you, too! You're just too cute, I could eat you up!~"

You do get what you want, at the price of spending all day at Asmo's whim. But, surely you saw this coming? That's why you came to him!

"We should go to that store next! Oh, then the spa! This is so fun, MC, we really need to do this more often~"

Beelzebub

Gives you his signature closed eye, bright smile, puppy look.

Is happy that you love him, because he loves you, too. However, this sounds very familiar to him.

"I love you, too, MC. But... what do you want? You sound kind of like Belphie right now."

Beel is happy to give you what you want, all you have to do is ask. He deeply cares for you, after all, so he really wouldn't mind.

"Can we go to Hell's Kitchen after? I'm hungry and they have a new item on the menu. We should try it together."

Belphegor

Knows what you're trying to do and is not fooled or swayed whatsoever.

He's very familiar with this song and dance, being the youngest. This is one of his favorite methods, actually.

"You know that isn't going to work, right? 'Do not cite the deep magic to me, witch. I was there when it was written'."

Convinces you to cuddle him for a bit if you really want something from him. End up stuck cuddling him all day as a result.

"Stop complaining, you knew this was going to happen. Now shut up, good pillows don't talk..."

I think it would be really funny if rin was the more helpful one around his house. Like u would think rin would be the disrespectful one who always bails on housework or mass but its actually yukio who would always have an excuse not to go or forget about chores to the point that rin just does them instinctively now

Grimm/nightmare heart theory

It's the Halloween season, so I thought it would be a good time to share my take on Hallownest's very own vampire clown nightmare demon, Grimm!

The nightmare heart is all that remains of an ancient god. In order to keep itself from completely fading from existence it made a contract with it's worshipper, Grimm.

Grimm gave his body up as host for the dying God, to keep it alive.

Basically he is the vessel of the heart. (This is stated in canon.) And gained immortality through means of the nightmare hearts ritual.

The flames which I would guess represent nightmares/fears or death (Sort of like essence which represents hopes or wishes, for nightmares rather than dreams) Feed the heart, and keep Grimms body growing and immortal.

Grimm is reincarnated into Grimmchild everytime the lantern is lit. With outside aide. Bugs who aide in the hearts perpetuation (such as Brumm) are forced to serve the heart for eternity. I imagine this would have eventually happened to little Ghost. (Had the endings not played out as they did.)

Why is he a circus troupe master? Because Grimm and his servants, a large group of especially peculiar bugs who travel the world, fit in best under the guise of being travelling circus performers. Basically it's their cover.

And maybe even before giving up his body to the nightmare heart Grimm was some sort of performing type.

Anyway Brumm's dialogue here and here

Implies that it is truly the best outcome for Grimm for the ritual to end and for him to be separated from the heart. Not only for Brumm's sake but for his own.

(I did not do this in my game, because I love my Grimmchild too much but narratively this is the ultimately good ending for everyone.)

TBB s/o Headcanon:

Why do I feel like once the members of the Bad Batch get significant others, Crosshair is always in the background of their dates in Sniper mode like ready to pull the trigger if anything goes wrong?

I can see him definitely tailing his brothers and spying on their dates through his scope because he's protective like that.

He probably also takes Omega with him and they'll spy on their brothers to see what's going on.

Especially with TechPhee, Crosshair is always looking out for his twin and he and Wrecker are always in the background of all of Tech and Phee's dates.

I think he also keeps a close eye on Echo as well, even if he knows Echo can handle himself. However, it's probably only because he holds Echo is such high regards as an older brother that he feels the need to spy on him.

Then with Hunter and Wrecker he's just watching to see if they make fools of themselves (and they usually do) when they're out on dates with their partners.

THEN!!

When Crosshair ends up with a significant other his siblings are protective as HELL over him.

Yeah it's karma for all the times he was spying on them and would scare dates off, but it's also because he's the baby brother so they're all going to look out for him (even if he can handle his own).

So they're constantly tailing him on dates, threatening and intimidating his dates, and so on.

He pretends to hate it, of course, but it's not all that bad.

Catch him being like, "You want to cheat on me?? Well, these are my siblings. Good luck."

I’m just. Just thinking about how the ASL brothers might have different feelings on Dadan and her hut.

Like for starters Ace. Dadan is the woman who raised him though let’s be real he probably heard every step of the way how she never wanted to, how he was a burden on her. That piled on with the whole Roger’s offspring never should have existed, probably never made for a good pairing. But the funny thing with children is. A part of them, especially when young and developing want to make their caretaker happy and so. Maybe that’s why Ace was so independent from a young age. Being out of the house and caring for yourself meant he wouldn’t be a burden. Meaning Dadan would be happy. Though being alone also means he doesn’t have to listen to her or the others talk behind his back either.

Then after the fires. I think it clicked in his and her head of what they mean to each other. After all. Dadan says these horrible things about him yet she saves him from the fire and Bluejam pirates. He’s heard her say all this terrible things since he could remember and he patches up and care for her wounds carrying her home. I think after the fires. Ace really registers that Dadan is safe. And that’s why after Sabo left he and Luffy didn’t build their forts far in the privacy of the forest but right at her side. Because she’s safe.

Then there’s Luffy. Unlike Ace, Luffy to some degree had a stabile home growing up with Makino. Yes the girl was busy and yes she never had time for Luffy. But her bar was always open to him and she would always be there caring for him. Luffy knew what security was. And he also knew security came in all shapes and sizes. After all the red haired pirates were scrappy drunkards that would pester, tease, bully and heckle him any chance they got. But they cared for Luffy and he knew it. Shanks lost his arm for Luffy to keep him safe. So the bandits behaviour probably never threw him off. But the fact they were BANDITS did. You can’t blame him. His first traumatic experience that was a big part in the shaping of his childhood was caused by bandits.

But every day he came home battered, beaten, muddied, bruised. And just like Makino they would al patch him up. And just like Shank’s crew, would tease torment and bully him. Luffy knew they were safe from day one, and really he probably doesn’t think of her as a mother but she is still definitely family. She when he left on his journey. The fact they were bandits to him just meant they weren’t as cool as pirates. But she was still the best damn bandit in the world.

And finally Sabo. He actually has very little interaction with Dadan throughout the whole flashback besides farting while she talks and sharing a meal. But honestly that quick ease around her made me think. For someone who had such shitty absentee parents and then raised himself on the streets for at least months maybe even years. He was so… trusting? Sure he’s ten, and ten year olds aren’t really that suspecting of the world yet. But of someone of the background, it strikes me as odd.

Do you think he had heard about Dadan from Ace? Like come on, preteens be preteens. Surly Ace has arrived whining about Dadan and her bandits and to Sabo, tales of fighting for each meal. Being literally thrown into a bath tub and her screeching at other bandits and things probably sounds crazy, surreal, like a dream. He’d never say he’s jealous of Ace. After all he knows Dadan isn’t the best but a ‘family’ that talks to you must have sounded amazing. Sabo fit right in at Dadan’s hut because this was the family he had always wanted. And even if for a little while he got to treasure.

Something I love about Leo is that, canonically, he IS capable of cooking, he’s just completely incapable of using a toaster. He’s banned from the kitchen not out of an inability to make edible food, but because being within six feet of a toaster causes the poor appliance to spontaneously combust.

i completely forgot its super bowl sunday and i honestly dont really care for sports much or anything

HOWEVER....

there's these two OTHER superbowl like things but theres one with cats, and one with dogs, (i think its kitten bowl & puppy bowl) basically tldr they do it to encourage people to adopt the cats/dogs and all !! :D

and i just came up with the silliest headcanon that red would MOST DEFINITELY watch those, and either would force everyone else to watch it

OR, it would be even funnier, if the colorgang was watching the actual superbowl and red was watching either one of those, and even funnier idea if red would get INVESTED into it

so just imagine, colorgang just casually watching it (or even not watching it i dunno if theyd be into sports like that) and then you just hear red shouting in like a room over being super invested in it

Reasons why Doffy alway uses sunglasses (yes, all of them):

He always needed them because he has severe light sensibility (photophobia).

He did get hurt by that arrow, he miraculously didn't lose his eye, but he has a small scar and is almost fully blind on that eye (he can barely see some shadows and distinguish some objects) plus he has corneal opacity.

Though he has the eye shape of his mother's eyes, he has ice blue eyes, very similar shade as his father's, and he hates it when he sees himself in the mirror.
