I'm just saying, I've been on the internet nearly 2 decades and the truth has always been this:
No company has ever suffered a single iota from any fanworks. Not a single pornographic image. Not one Fan-game.
Not one fan has ever tried to steal IP, not one fan has ever gone to court to challenge ownership of IP.
I've yet to see a Let's Play harm a single video game, I've yet to see a single mod worth taking down from corporate perspective, I've never once seen a company lose a single cent because of something you or I ever did as fans.
I've yet to see Piracy in any way have ever affected a company, nor entity, nor singular artist. It. Has. Not. Happened. The longest lasting meme from my childhood when Minecraft .jar Modding got popular, was that Winrar was cool for putting a 5 second pause before you can use the fuckin' thing, when 7-zip was free. Literally a company still around today and for no reason there's a 5 second pause before you're allowed to do anything. Cmon. Cmon ya'll. They can survive with that, a company can survive a sex mod for their game. Show. Me. An. Example. Otherwise.
It's been 2 decades.
We don't need to pretend shit about shit anymore. You should be allowed to make fan-games and put them online. You should be allowed to put tits on Geodude. You should be allowed to upload music, Roms, and TV shows online. There has never, been a point, where it Hurt These Record Setting, Streak, Setting, Record Setting Profit Companies. Who mind you, got half our dwindling wealth in under 2 years during covid. They're. Fucking. Fine. Every god damned time.
I can list, hundreds, thousands, of times where a company got an entire channel taken down with bogus copyright claims. I can find already compiled lists of these companies taking down reviews, I can show the myriad of sex abuse scandals at every god damn one of these companies.
I can't name a single fan that killed a company. I can name a shit ton of companies that Killed Their Employees however.

#os: entrails of the animals#im on the last draft edits before i shift to looking for a publisher#unfortunately its a lot of Big changes so its taking so much brainpower augh#mostly bc i wrote the first book with thr idea that it Could be standalone but could also be a trilogy if it got a good reception#but then i decided to just commit to it beinf a trilogy bc thats what i wanted the most#so now im fixing worldbuilding AND having to seed in all of my foreshadowing for the next two books#bc im a bitch who LIVES for as much subtle foreshadowing as i can possibly manage in a story#i think at the end of the day as much work as this is going to take#its going to be worth it ya know?#it takes this from 'the story i happen to tell first' to ' the story i WANT to tell first'#but augh all of these goddamn changes i gotta make#small enough ones that i have to comb the entire story paragraph by paragraph#instead of just redoing certain chapters#and having no energy thanks to my seizure meds#BUT BY GOD IM GETTING THIS SHIT DONE. #hm. thinking about death and all that#bc the other day my mom texted me and my sisters to say shes added another cancer to her repertoire#shes had smooth muscle cancer for the past maybe 10 years but in the last year shes gotten a lot sicker#idk how long shes been stage 4 but shes got tumors in her liver. bladder. and maybe a kidney. and now shes also got like pre leukemia#she like deff got it from chemo treatment so now shes gotta try to go get a different treatment#but the type of mds she has is more likely to be treatment resistant and advance to acute myloid leukemia#so idk maybe itll go well. right now she still feels okay. but it just feels like the beginning of the end#so death has been on my mind the past few days#i feel mostly fine bc i think my medication is actually working. i just feel like im waiting for the other shoe to drop ya kno#and selfishly if she dies in the next 4 years itll b a real clusterfuck for my life#but i dunno her life has been super unfair and it sucks that she has to go thru all this#also when i was home last her hair looked insane bc she lost most of it but didnt shave what was left so she had new hair growing short#underneath and all i could think when i looked at her was: we r at the end of vanity. bc im a goblin#unrelated

#i'm so excited !!#and also nervous bc we haven't hung out in forever 🥹#which means yay lots to catch up on & that's always fun#but also means they might bring up -certain- things that 😭 i do not wanna talk about ever again lol#that's the problem with not seeing each other as often is having to discuss things that happened months ago..#but what are ya gonna do 🤷♀️ it's hard to hang out regularly since we all got full time jobs#+ we live and work far away from each other & the weather always sucks & eating out gets expensive 😫#our vacations are on different times too#and now it's getting darker earlier so... yeah#it's getting less and less safe to hang out at night here and even in broad daylight too man 🙃#we gotta find more activities to do lol but usually i'll see one of them for coffee and walks & those are my fav#man i just wish i lived closer to my friends it sucks#cause even if it's easier now than it was years ago bc i can drive to them#there's alwayssssss construction and traffic the city is horrible#like we mostly just hang out in the suburbs now bc of that. sure there's less options here but at least we can drive peacefully and PARK#that's also another major issue in the city ugh#and it's not even like public transit is a solid option there's always problems there too 🙃#get ur shit together montreal !!!! i wanna love you but you're so hard to love sometimes !!!!!!!!#anyway. i do miss the city i can't even lie. i never go downtown anymore 😢#and i miss my friends !!!!!!!! 😭😭#i'm so excited we're hanging out i hope we can do it more and more often#**#update: ok they didn’t ask about any of the things i was worried about so we good 😇

HALLEJUAH!! I REMEMBERED HOW TO ACTUALLY FINISH WRITING SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE!!
Of course, it's not any of the fics I wanted to finish. I went back to what is essentially my bread-and-butter now and wrote a short-ish, random OrangeHook fluff. But considering how much writing's been a struggle as of late, I'm just glad that I successfully finished something. I was back in one of those stretches where I couldn't seem to write much of anything. And this fic isn't about their age difference or Hook being a cuddlebug, so...progress?
Unless I decide I completely hate it (which is always a possibility) expect something to drop on Valentine's Day, tis the season, after all.

It's miscellaneous vegetables pasta sauce time!
#ace tries cooking#truly my least favourite part about moving out for the summer is the bits and bobs meals that come about from trying to use up food#cant really buy anything new so youre just left trying to work with what youve got left#and sometimes its fine! ya know its just things you normally eat thats why you have all those components already#but sometimes its i had too many carrots left over from this recipe and ran out of this usual component typa concoctions#but the worst is when i gotta clear out all the vegetables in my freezer and i just chop em all up throw em in a pot with seasonings#and a can of chopped tomatoes let it cook then blitz it with a stick blender spoon it over some pasta and hope its not the worst#shoulda bought some cheese to top it off but i forgot 😞

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The New Red, Black and Yellow Rangers
With Zedd defeated, Rito left Earth, not wanting to mess with those kids that could, as far as he knew, kill an ancient force of evil without breaking a sweat.
Goldar, however, remained on Earth, which meant the Rangers weren't completely out of the woods yet. For the most part, at least, there were also a few stray Z-Putties hanging around to deal with.
At the end of the school year, with Jason, Zack and Trini all leaving Angel Grove for College and Zordon having been gone since their final fight with Zedd, Tommy, Billy and Kimberly had to step up and find new Red, Black and Yellow Rangers.
Before long, the remaining Rangers realised that three kids heading into Sophmore Year at Angel Grove High that were more than eager to get an up-close look at some superhero action!
With Rocky, Adam and Aisha, along with a rebuilt Alpha VI thanks to Billy and Grace's efforts, the Power Rangers continue the fight against evil!
