You were a caretaker for the Malto family’s children. When Dot started fighting alongside the autobots, you were assigned to her kids as a guaranteed protection.

When the war ended and they moved out they had ask for you to go with them. Honestly you were attached as well, so you didn’t say no.

You got along with the whole family. In fact one reason was because of your admiration and love for bumblebee. 

It wasn’t as deep as the Maltos father, but you definitely were one of his biggest fans.

And even if your life had turned all over again, you didn’t mind have two more kids under your wing.

Heck, and when dot notified you that the Bumblebee was going to be working with you, you were ecstatic ! 

You had heard many stories about him. You wondered if he’d really live up to his name.

You were outside with kids waiting for the autobot to arrive. But he didn’t seem to be coming. 

Encouraging the kids to do something while you waited, you all ended up around fluffy ears. It was nice, and fun. 

Well it was,… until your supposed hero showed up. 

You understand this mission isn’t technically the easiest for him. But he was being an overkill. The kids didn’t feel comfortable around him and his actions really stared to shatter your image of him.

Each time he’d push to far, you at first would try to help him see what he was missing, but this guy had the audacity to interrupt you and not even acknowledge your advice.

All the kids were a bit offended when the saw this. Once again fueling their hatred towards the bot.

You wondered if Optimus really made the right choice, but you guess only time could tell.

You admit his teaching has gotten better, but some of his attitude still pricked you. And you knew he could tell.

Honestly the mission had gone a lot smoother once he started seeing them as family and not an assignment.

The only problem was you.

He had tried sparking up conversations and getting to know you. But everything he did led to short conversations. He couldn’t make them last. Your answers were always direct and to the point.

It was frustrating.

You weren’t mean or rude to him. But he just couldn’t form an actual friendship with you. And he needed you to trust him, especially since the both of you are working together all the time. 

One day he was fed up with everything and you were the last straw. “Hey man, why are you always so- so defensive. You know we’re on the same team right.”

His words only sparking your own anger. He has a point that you haven’t been the most open, but saying you have been defensive is an overstatement.

“Hey now, that’s pushing it a bit.” He scoffed at that rolling his eyes. “Please, you treat me differently from everyone else. And yeah I do notice.”

“Well.. sorry for being careful with my actions. I tend to be like that around rude pricks who didn’t even want anything with us!”

This was the most emotion you had directed at him. He didn’t like how it felt. How his spark tugged with each word you kept saying.

“Don’t you see bee, you’re the problem.”

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I don’t really buy into the whole fuckboy agatha/turbo virgin Rio narrative. Like it’s fun to play around with, but I don’t think it’s as canon as some I’ve seen some ppl say. I think it’s just one of like many possible interpretations of what their dynamic could have been, and tbh I think we’re all sleeping on the funniest one. Let me explain:

Agatha fucks now, that’s super obvious but there’s also been like how many centuries between now and when she was younger/met Rio? Agatha grew up during a very puritanical time, in an isolated coven, with an abusive mother, could she have been sneaking and getting action/figuring herself out on the side? Definitely. But I feel like she would’ve been more focused on trying to sneak around and learn magic and (depending on just /how/ isolated the coven was, which the ones we saw her and Nicky go through ranged from super small family to a small-medium community) might have not been either a lot of options and/or the options there were would have been like difficult to do anything about. We don’t know when she meets Rio, but presumably not /too/ long after her attempted execution just based on when Nicky was born, so she definitely in this time could have come to an understanding of herself and her body, especially in regards to how she could use her ~feminine wiles~ to get by with her entire support system gone. But I feel like another way to look at it, is that while she may not have been able to experiment as a teenager, she definitely could have run into some inappropriate books while reading the magic books she also wasn’t allowed to read. That plus just probably the whole way sex and everything was viewed during that time, I feel like she could easily come up with some weird ideas about what sex even is.

And Rio has been around for like ever. Do you know how many humans probably died doing weird sex things?? Rio knows what sex is, but her view of it is probably super skewed. (Also, we don’t see Rio from a point before Agatha which is unfortunate because all her focus after agatha is like… /on/ agatha so we have no way of knowing if she had any curiosity regarding humanity or any of the things she saw. She definitely could have experimented in her long existence, we just don’t know. Which doesn’t really matter to this, I just want to point out that even that is up to interpretation and is based in canon literally just as much as virgin Rio [which is to say not at all])

Anyway I think we’re all missing the funniest way to read this, which is /both/ Agatha and Rio having wildly different and also just wrong ideas about what sex is/how it works, and just trying to figure it out together like the blind leading the blind with all their directions based around colors. Bonus in that Rio could probably say some buckwild shit and Agatha ‘fake it till you make it’ Harkness would probably be like ‘well yes, obviously that’s how you do it’

First of all, everyone """kinda""" likes Tunner, but not in a way of him being a good person, but more an authoraty. (even though, there are some sprunkis that genuiely enjoy him, like Gray and erm... uhm... Sky?)

Wenda and Pinki really respect each other, not only as friends, but as both persons that increases on eachothers life in a good way. (Kinda, I imagine they like Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, but way less dramatic and with way less death involving it.)

Jevin and Pinki are kinda of "what you do is amazing, and you're and incredible person". Kinda simple, way much then you'd expect.

Jevin and Oren are kinda son and dad? Oren is just chill around with Him, somehow. Maybe it's 'cuz he's the only one that actually gets him.

Durple and Fun boy get to be amuzed by eachtoher everytime they have an conversation, even though they always talk, they still find an new thing about eachother everyday. (It has been 2 years already and they still learn from each other).

Wenda and Garnold are cousins.

Oren, Simon and Fun boy are brothes (Fun boy it's adopted)

Jevin and Tunner got to be the official responsibles of sky.

Garnold and Clurk takes care of fun boy (they see eachother as family now)

Pinki is besties with Wenda and Jevin. Although Jevin and Wenda knows are chill about it.

Somehow the only actual friend Tunner has is Wenda. Heh....

Wenda 'n Simon are buds, sometimes they talk. They're pretty much chill.

Alot of beef. Most of sprunkis dislike Wenda and Simon.

Most reasons for W is 'cuz she is scary for them, for Oren it's 'cuz he's an asshole.

Pinki and Tunner mutually dislike eachother, but for 0 reasons.

Like I said before, Oren it's kinda of an emotionall asshole who kinda hates everything and everyone. (He basically have a beef with everyone)

Everyone fears Wenda. Like I said, there ain't an reason further then "she's weird".

Even though Vineria is friends with pinki, she fears what she can do (lore, not going any further on this topic).

Sky just doesn't get a good vibe from Pinki.

Vineria kinda fears Jevin, he's way too chill and sweet about everything, he looks more mystherious than he actually pretend to be (only on her perspective...)

Tunner CAN'T feel safe around most sprunkis. He's terrified with the idea of anyone getting an deep conection with him. Even though this idea is impossible (since he still tries to talk genuiely with a very few sprunkis) he's still pretty much reserved "Trust no one and you'll never get in danger".

No one really got to know Tunner better. And with all of that, he's still somehow pretty sociable.

(HAZBIN LEAK SPOILERS)

So I just thought of something.

Since Lute completely hates Hell and its demons with a passion and somehow has a crush on Adam, something tells me that she absolutely LOATHES EVE ENTIRELY with an unbelievable passion.

Think about it!

I believe the theory that Lute was jealous towards Vaggie for being one of Adam’s top girls while being named after his favorite thing ever. Something tells me she waited for Vaggie to make the slightest mistake just to get rid of her for good and have Adam all to herself. Not to mention how she struck Vaggie down in the most brutal way for sparing a demon child (I hate this woman, bruh).

And you’re probably thinking, why would Lute hate Eve more than Vaggie?

Because she started the entirety of Hell while being with Adam.

Now hear me out!

If it weren’t for Eve accepting the Forbidden Fruit from Lucifer, Hell would’ve never existed at all. Hellborns would’ve never existed at all. Sinners would’ve never existed at all. Evil would’ve never reached Earth at all.

Like in the Bible, Adam and Eve were punished for this and were forced to leave the Garden of Eden, but in the Hazbin version it’s never mentioned that Adam ate the fruit so Eve must’ve been the only one who ate it and was punished and forced to leave the garden. Adam didn’t do anything wrong. So it makes you wonder. Did Adam let her go and let her leave the garden all alone?

Nope. He chooses to go with her!

Now it makes you think, maybe Adam did love Eve (probably in his own dumb and narcissistic way) and chose to stay with her, regardless of what she’s done. He technically chose to suffer with her while starting a family with her, even after she unintentionally cursed humanity from her mistake. He could’ve stayed at the Garden and continue to live in paradise and maybe the angels could’ve made him a new wife, but he chooses to stay with Eve. (Aww.)

And Lute doesn’t understand that. She would wonder why would Adam choose to stay with Eve after every sinful thing she’s done? She made a horrible mistake and he still chose to stay with her? He chose to give up paradise for a sinful woman? Not to mention he started a family with her too.

I get the feeling that Lute would definitely think about this, considering how she refused to believe that sinners could be redeemed even when the truth (Sir Pentious) was right in front of her. She would think of excuses and probably believe that Eve “tempted” Adam to stay with her and all that dumb stuff. (Lute sucks.)

Lute would begin to hate Eve and try to be better than her in every way possible just so she could have Adam to love her more than he ever loved Eve, but I don’t think she succeeded in that considering that Adam died.

Not to mention how harshly she treats one of Eve’s sons, Abel. In the leaks, when Abel is trying to claim that he wants to honor his deceased father, Lute just snaps at him to shut up and reminds him that Adam never liked him! (Girl, what was the reason-?!)

It really makes you wonder why on earth would Lute bully the son of her boss, whom she is oh-so obsessed with, in the most rudest way? Abel is a polite, kind, well-behaved angel who lived a benevolent life when he was still alive and practically never made a mistake! So why?

Maybe it was because she was in a bad mood? Maybe it’s because Adam didn’t like Abel and she was just being a follower?

Or maybe she just disliked him because of who his mother is. Keep in mind, this was before Lute found out that Abel was the new leader of the Exorcist army and therefore didn’t have a valid reason for disliking him.

Long story short, I think that not only Lute has a crush on Adam and is entitled to him in almost every way possible, she is also Eve’s 1# hater, because of how much she meant to Adam, how she started everything she hates by accidentally bringing evil onto Earth and creating hell through her mistake.

I bet that when Eve shows up in the future, Lute will be foaming at the mouth at the sight of her. (She needs to chill out fr.)

What do you gather was the final conclusion to how Aqua felt about Ai? Did he see her as his mom? Idol? Have a crush on her? I don't know if even Akasaka knew himself.

Also found it interesting how the two non-family people Ai seemed comfortable opening up to were Gorou and Gotanda... she latched on to those old men quickly.

I'd actually say that Aqua's arc in relation to that aspect of his complicated feelings towards Ai was one of the things that early OnK did really well! It's a big part of why I was so confused and ultimately let down by the way OnK handles Ruby's surfacing feelings for Gorou -> Aqua because we had already seen that the story could do a really interesting examination of this exact issue - past life attachment causing a surfacing of romantic feelings in a relationship that should otherwise be purely familial - and bring it to what I felt was a pretty satisfying conclusion. That said, the conclusion Aqua comes to is kind of understated, so I get that it doesn't jump out at people as obviously.

Basically, to start with, I think it is clear that Aqua has some confusedly Oedipal feelings mixed up in his relationship with Ai purely as the result of inheriting Gorou's gachikoi attraction to her and that this undercurrent lingers even as he forms a more solid relationship with her as himself and her son. But it doesn't really get a chance to surface and become something Aqua himself is in a position to interrogate until he is put face to face with ""Ai"" again in a romantically charged context. In fact - interestingly, he doesn't seem to consider for a second that he might be having dokidoki sorts of feelings about Aikane until Mem and Yuki start trying to push it on him and even then...

I guess this is my One beef with how the anime handles this part of the story because I think it kind of accidentally gives Aqua's response a very different vibe in its version of events. Compare and contrast these two expressions:

Not only does Aqua look way more like... genuinely dismayed and even a little distressed at what's going on, but he's even being crowded by everyone at this moment. Whereas in the anime, he just looks more straightforwardly flustered.

Obvs after this he scurries off to go have his hangout sesh with Kana and ends up putting to bed the idea that he was romantically interested in Akane (at that moment in time, anyway) but interestingly, his conclusion that his feelings for Aikane aren't "like that", i.e, romantic also seems to be the implicit conclusion to the idea that he has any feelings of those sort of Ai, too.

Past LoveNow, while Aqua's feelings about Ai continue to be very intense, we never again get any of the Oedipal undertones that were more apparent prior to that point. And in fact, the next time we see Aqua's feelings for Ai zoomed in on in this way, the embodiment of Aqua's grief for her is Aqua himself as a little boy who just desperately wants his mom back.

In other words, the grief and loss Aqua feels for Ai is for her as his mother.

As for the Ai part of this ask, I don't think Gorou and Gotanda are necessarily unusual in that regard...? It's part of a pretty consistent pattern of Ai opening up to people surprisingly fast when she thinks they have the capacity to understand or accept her, or just like. Show her any basic human kindness whatsoever LOL.

We see this in Viewpoint B with Kyun where all it takes is a little gentle prodding from Kyun for Ai to pour her heart out about some genuinely personal stuff and that talk meant enough to Ai for her to consider Kyun her closest friend for years afterwards. She really is just that intensely lonely and that eager to put her heart into someone's hands the instant they so much as imply they might treat it gently. Or even just that they want it. She's not well!!!!

storm would either been in cairo still or somewhere else but if we’re focusing on the movie timelines, her power would be very minimal

she would likely grow up living on a thief’s wage until she finds something else to do with her life (i wouldn’t know what honestly)

scott would be walking around blindfolded 24/7 as he didn’t have hank to make his glasses for him. if alex continued to stay in solitary confinement he probably had no one to feel connected with

logan would still be fitting into his ‘wild animal’ thing and just moving around bar to bar trying to find something worth doing in his life

rogue would likely of died in the van explosion

a lot of the mutant kids living in the x-mansion wouldn’t have a place to call home and the majority of them would be living on the streets getting persecuted

there would be no brotherhood OR xmen to stop humans from wiping out mutants completely

sure maybe some mutants rise up to make they’re own groups but they likely don’t have the influence of a rich old white guy

The first Doctor had two companions die horribly, in a row, in quick succession. This really upset Steven, who was there for all of it. Steven is grieving. Steven is, possibly, blaming him a little bit.

When faced with the prospect of adopting a new companion, he won't. Traveling with him could just get her killed, and Steven will be terribly upset about that. If she dies off his watch, that's not his fault and not his responsibility. Steven can't blame him for that. This is where she belongs, therefore it is best to leave her here, no matter what may happen. He hasn't stolen her. Stealing people away only to get them killed far from home is wrong. See, he's finally learned that! He is not doing it this time. He has such good self restraint! Steven will be proud of him for this. Steven will be pleased that he is being responsible.

But Steven is angry.

It doesn't make sense, he's doing the Right Thing! It's very confusing.

when i was younger and hung out around my uncle a lot more than i do now, i remember whenever he referred to things regarding his native heritage, he always just called it "indian". called himself an indian, called the words he taught us indian, so on. since i was a little kid who didn't know any better, i didn't know that "indian" in the context of indigenous americans was a very broad, frankly bastardized term to paint a vast variety of cultures spanning two whole damn continents with one brush. it only occurred to me as i got much older than i was at the time that there'd be more than one "indian" language, and up until now since i had no idea what tribe(s) he even is i couldn't even begin to know where to look unless i found a download of every goddamn interlingual dictionary available and painstakingly checked every godddamn one for what their word for "thunder" is

the word he taught us meant thunder was hiloha. i didn't even know how to spell it until now, because he only ever said it aloud. literally just a few minutes ago, i decided to ask my grandma (his sister) if we knew what tribe(s) he belonged to. and apparently he's a mix of choctaw and makah. which gave me a lead, which led to me finding a dictionary on libgen, which led to me word searching "thunder" in the choctaw to english dictionary. it's the only word i remember him teaching us, and i'm unsure if he ever tried teaching us others. but it was his dogs name, and he was a damn good boy, so i remembered it clear as day. though, they normally shortened it to "hilo".

so, i guess what came out of this is that i now know a bit more about my uncle's heritage, and where to look for more research. so, if you're gonna have a takeaway from this, i'd appreciate it if you remembered the word "hiloha". it means thunder. and aside from being the name of a very good boy who deserves to be remembered, i think it's even more important to remember the histories, cultures, and of course the languages of all the indigenous folks who came before us and did their damndest to preserve their cultures in spite of it all.
