Only now beginning to realize why sometimes after a day full of going places and being around a bunch of people and too much talking, I'd come home and be so damn cranky. I didn't want to do anything, I hated when someone wanted me, and I'd just get angrier and angrier at every little thing.

Like oh... it's the autism. I'm tapped out and very overwhelmed, so having to deal with something like the cats (despite other people being available and just... not doing it because of dumb excuses), makes me want to punch someone in the fucking face.

A small Qalaari doodle to explore some fits options for when we were "invited" (held hostage) in the manor of a Vampire Lady (who happened to be the grandmother of one of our group member :^)c delicious drama ensued... for multiple sessions...)

I ended up going for the left one as it was closer to Qalaa's comfort zone. The right one was more planned for if we ever managed to get to "the ball scene™ " but sadly we kicked ass too early for that and managed to escape/

(I say escape but we, somehow, managed to kill the elder vampire lady... it was... a difficult fight.)

I think the funniest aspect of the Golden Land to me is the fact that the whole "freeing you from classism / patriarchy / traditionalism that shaped your lives and made you miserable" thing is going to let about half the cast immediately start having the time of their lives and send the other half into a mental breakdown so severe that someone might actually die

Jessica getting freed from succession drama and Ushiromiya Expectations (tm) is the best thing that ever happened to her but Eva no longer being under pressure from her siblings or patriarchy and having to actually self-reflect is going to put like 4 people in the hospital

Aleduncan don't go to pride.

Alejandro's too afraid of his parents and/or brother finding out that he's not straight and reacting poorly, so he keeps his sexuality as hidden as possible - it isn't until he's cut off his family and their toxicity that he allows himself the freedom and joy of publically expressing himself, and then he goes to pride with his friends and has a great time.

Duncan's not allowed within the vicinity of a pride event because he's an active arson risk. And homophobic /j.

Alejandro records his time at pride for Duncan to watch. Duncan calls it gay and stupid but secretly appreciates his boyfriend trying to include him in these events. Alejandro catches Duncan watching the recordings "in secret" with the mushiest look on his face, and silently decides not to call him out on it.

well, i was going to wait to formally announce something when i got the time but i’m a bit irritated that the first thing i see when i log in is this ask

^ to answer your question anon, idk why you’re following if that’s what you feel 💀 respectfully, unfollow and never interact with me again. and this goes for everyone else who has left nasty asks in my inbox demanding me to update. my priority is law school and family, not to update fanfics that i don’t get paid for. this is something i do on the side for fun, it is not a job nor does it help me secure my future. spend less time demanding free work from people and spend more time working on your own future. it quite literally should never get to the point where you’re demanding strangers on the internet to provide you with fanfiction and insulting them when they have other things going on—seek help. that is weird.

but on a more serious note to everyone who has been respectful & kind about it—i don’t think i’m gonna be able to update anything until winter break, i apologize to everyone who has been waiting patiently, i promise i’m not abandoning heliotropes but it will not be updated for at least a month and a half. my workload has skyrocketed the past two weeks and my professors are warning us that it’s only uphill until after finals when we get our break. i need to be focusing on work, i barely even have the energy to answer messages from ppl right now.
