I was really trying not to post on here or TikTok but I'm out of options so

URGENT POSSIBLE SW PLEASE HELP

Okay, so my partner and I just moved into a mobile home/trailer. We signed the lease on the 20th, started moving in the next day. The trailer is one of the only ones still standing after tornadoes in December. Today we had another tornado and lost a tree outside of the backyard. Otherwise everything else is fine other than us being without power.

My partner smokes and goes on the back porch to smoke. It's 9:00 pm here, it's dark, my partner went out to smoke.

They had just let my dog in (we kept an eye on her, we know 1000% it's her) when they started to hear a whimpering. At this point it's been at least 10 hours since the tree fell and there hasn't been any whimpering at all until this moment.

They have me come listen and sure enough. It sounds like it's about a football field away but we both feel as if it's right outside our backyard. Without any rustling or anything it sounds like it's right next to the stairs of our back porch. It's louder, and more desperate. We immediately went inside and shut and locked the door. We checked on my cats and they were acting normal then we promptly locked the front door, top and bottom. The back door deadbolt doesn't lock but we put a mattress in front of it.

My dog isn't growling or anything but she is paying close attention to the back door. Occasionally she does the same but directed at the front door. We've grabbed our flashlights and have them by us but what do we do? I'm about five minutes away from a panic attack and I'm seriously worrying. What do I do? We know not to go outside or whistle at dark but what can we do to ensure we stay safer?

Important information, when my partner first heard it they got chills and immediately went into fight or flight mode without knowing why.

Also important to note, a neighbor's dog down the hill from our backyard starts barking like crazy whenever the whimpering is going on.

Please, please help. My mom's going to come in the morning to help us ward our property and we *have* saged the house (twice) since moving in.

I go back and forth from my craft all the time because of mental health, school, etc. Sometimes I just get into a slump but I really want to practice or research, so I had to find ways around my executive dysfunction and depression.

Make a online altar and just take a few deep breaths while looking at it. Here is the link to an altar picrew

Stir intention into your drink

Take a bath with Epsom salt and add the intention of cleansing your energy. That's it, let the bath do the work

Use an online journal for whatever witchy purpose you want instead of physically writing and wearing down your energy

Put a crystal near your bed or in your pillowcase to help build your motivation back up

Cuddle your familiar and whisper thanks for all that they do

Sleep.... just let yourself sleep and forget about your craft. After a good sleep you can return

Listen to a witchy podcast, youtube video, or music playlists to remind yourself of your roots. Just hearing stuff about witchcraft can help fuel your motivation

If you work with some sort of divine, ask them if they can lend you energy/good vibes/motivation. After you feel good in your craft again you can ask them if they want an offering in return for when they helped you

Take a walk. If you can't sit outside your door or open your bedroom window. You need some fresh air babes, fresh air will make everything better

Sex/Masterbation, I shall not expound

Make moon water and chug that bitch (I'm joking, drink it slowly)

Pray over a meal and ask for spiritual guidance/help

Following the one above, you could also just vent to any deities you work with. Great way to bond, + it gets your feelings expressed if you can't express them to the people in your life

I personally age regress as a way to cope with my mental health issues and allow me to have a childlike wonder about magic again lmao (ofc thats not for everyone, thats just what I do most frequently)

Do what feels right. Follow your heart and intuition, your higher self knows how to heal your current self.

Above all else, if depression or motivation issues are kicking your ass, tell a licensed professional

Hi! I'd love to.

First I'm going to tell you what someone else told me that really helped me gain more control of my ability to astral project.

When you lay down to meditate first make sure that your comfortable, I usually put a light blanket over myself. Once you start the meditation try to extend your senses to your body, try wiggling your finger or toes on your astral form or moving your arms and legs.

After awhile you might get a ringing in your ears or a sense of lightness come over you let this happen, it's you moving into the astral plan. It could be frightening at first if your not used to it.

There are two way I've been told how to get out of your body one is to imagine pulling yourself out of your body by grabbing ahold of a rope and the other that has worked better for me is once you start feeling that lightness during meditation just let yourself float out of your body. This one's easier for me because it happens naturally for me that way.

To get back to your body I've been told, (though i have never found it on myself.) that there should be a red or golden string that attaches your astral form to your physical body, followed this back to your body and just lay back down. This string also helps you not to get lost so you can find your way back to your physical body. Another way is to imagine a portal back to your body, (which is what i do since I can't for the life of me find that string.) and lay back down where your body is.

Okay so for my experiences with astral projecting, I've always been able to do it but it's always happened by accident when i was meditating or trying too sleep.

What was happening to me was that sometimes when i was meditating or trying to sleep I'd go into this lucid state, (I think that's what it's called.) where i wasn't quite asleep yet but wasn't awake either and from here I'd just automatically pull out of my body. The first few times it happened it freaked me out. I didn't even know if I was supposed to be able to do that. Eventually I got used to it but couldn't control it.

It wasn't until a few years ago that i found someone who told me how to control it better.

One of the ways I know that I'm in the astral plane is that technology dose not work in it So when i go to check my Ipod for the time it never turns on and another way i know is that spirit's are physical there.

I highly suggest asking for protection when entering the astral plane because of this since it can be dangerous.

I have a not so fun story of getting chased by a black shadow once when I was astral projecting. I got away but it wasn't a fun experience.

But I also have some really nice stories like the one where i meet that man who I'm not supposed to know until I'm 100% ready to meet him. I know why I'm not supposed to know who he is and that has to do with my personality. I can be impatient and spirit know that and doesn't want me ruining things.

I've also had some super interesting ones like the time i astral projected into this grey area, I'm still not quite sure what area this is. Someone I know mentioned it might have been connected to purgatory? I got stuck there and couldn't find my way back to my body and when I asked for help a seraphim replied to my call for help. it showed me the way back. it's the only time I had ever seen a seraphim and I remember when i ask why he replied to me he had told me it was because he had known me for two millennia.

Those are only three stories out of many.

For every tarot reader on here or people who sell services in general. @ recoveringinternetaddict is a scammer.

She has ordered a lot of my tarot readings over the last couple of months and has been charging back everything the last few days; over 180 200 euro's so far and will most likely continue to charge back even more. This has brought me in a lot of trouble financially as one might guess.

She keeps coming with many excuses but isn't really doing anything to solve this even though she claims it 'was an accident'. Yet it isn't an accident > she even told PayPal it wasn't an accident (PayPal said so / hinted this through customer service mails). She has been doing the same with @tarotwithavi as well, who has also been charged back a significant amount of money so far. Edit: we found a 3rd person she did this too; @starryfree.

We both have been fighting these chargebacks with all the proof we have, but because she has done the chargebacks through her card holder PayPal isn't able to do anything, and that company will need to look at everything. This will take at least 180 calenderdays full of stress and uncertainty.

She is even claiming that her bank is taking more of our money because we provide proof that the chargebacks are false.

Please spread this information by liking, reblogging or commenting so the news will be spread to as many people as possible.

I know I am asking for a lot, but if you ever thought of getting a reading from me, it would be very kind to order one now so I can get out of this financial loss as quickly as possible. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated as well.

There are actually a lot of rules to magic.

Like yes, there's no rules, but if your takeaway from that is that there's literally no rules, then I think you missed the larger conversation about the specific ways in which there are no rules.

What "there's no rules" means is that there is not one universal set of rules that applies to every practitioner.

It means that nobody gets to act as an authority on what the rules are for everyone else.

It means that if you show up on somebody else's post saying "the first rule of witchcraft is that you must only use magic for good" you will probably (and deservedly) be told to fuck off.

What "there's no rules" does NOT mean is that there are literally no rules. There are SO many rules. People just work within their own set of rules.

Some rules come with the territory of working within a specific tradition.

Some rules are set by entities that practitioners work with, and might be quite specific to each individual.

Some rules are like laws of physics. They define the mechanisms by which magic works within a paradigm, and what the limits are on what it can do. A magical practice consisting of "I can do literally anything," is typically a practice that hasn't had a lot of genuine thought put into it. I have yet to meet anybody who can literally turn invisible or fly.

Some rules are more like a personal code of ethics.

So, when you burst into someone else's post to announce that there are no rules, you might not be told to fuck off quite as quickly as if you turned up to impose your personal rules on other people, but you are essentially signaling that you do not understand the concept of rules within a magical practice.

Disclaimer: some people are going to be obnoxious and make their own posts about how everyone else should be following their rules, and while it might be tempting to correct them, in my experience these people tend to get 0 notes, and you're more likely to give them the exposure they desire by starting a flame war. When they find that followers don't come flocking to them, they eventually get bored and give up.

Me when I'm starting to do witchcraft and I realize most other people that do this associate it with their gods and what I think is going on with gods and stuff doesn't have a name it's just "aaahh I dunno I mean most of the stuff atheists believe in is true including the big bang and all that but like if the universe existed before that point as a tiny dot then some god or gods must have made it right??
