Salix integra 'Hakuro-Nishiki'

Often known as the flamingo willow

It is a popular dwarf willow that is much loved for its flamboyant foliage in spring – a marbled mix of green and white, with flamingo-pink tips.

The leaves fade to green in summer and when they drop in autumn, coral-orange stems are revealed. Before the foliage appears again in spring, yellow catkins appear.

The crisp autumn air of the forest felt cool against your skin and the leaves of the trees were spectacular shades of orange and yellow and the fallen ones crunched beneath your feet. You quite enjoyed meeting up with Silver’s woodland creature friends but there was something odd about them this particular day. The creatures were quite fixed on following the silver haired knight. Some carried flowers. You notice him try to dismiss them before you could notice, turning as pink as a flamingo. 

Eventually as the sun set and the sky was a puddle of yellows oranges and pinks, your walk led the two of you to a flower-filled clearing with a willow tree in the middle of it and you felt one of the deer nudge you and Silver under the tree. 

“Fine…” you heard him mutter. And before you could question it, he tucked a flower that one of the animals gave him behind his ear, yet he glanced shyly at the ground “-Name-, Father has been telling me to say this for a while now but, ever since you tried to teach me how to smile that fateful day; I think I may have developed feelings for you.” 

You feel your cheeks flush as he tells you that. You also had feelings for him, yet you were too shy to say it. You didn’t think he felt the same. As if the world only belonged to the two of you, you leaned in for a kiss which he returned, his lips felt soft as they brushed against yours;  you pulled him closer to your own body. That was the first and best kiss in your life. As you break the kiss, you see the biggest smile you’ve ever seen on your boyfriend’s face, you couldn’t help but smile back at him, with your arms wrapped around his hips. Chris Pine has a new story to share with young readers this year.

The actor, 43, announced exclusively with PEOPLE that he will publish his debut children’s book this fall. When Digz the Dog Met Zurl the Squirrel, will be published by Flamingo Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers.

“I love books, I love reading,” Pine says in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “And I owe this love to my parents: sitting curled in my dad’s arm as he read The Wind and the Willows for the umpteenth time; listening to my mom pick words out of the air to create a bespoke story just for me as I faded off into snooze town.”

Pine’s childhood love of literature helped inspire the story, the actor says.

“My desire was to make a beautiful something that reminded me of the classics with which I grew up; to tell a simple tale, made up of delicious words and cuddle-worthy images that, hopefully, resonates with the child in all of us,” he continues.

The Lemon Legacy: Generation 1, Chapter 27 - Ophelia in Tartosa

The house Ophelia moves into oversees the scenic Tartosan walking trails and waterfalls. She's even within walking distance to a small beach, not to mention her new workplace, La Coppia Serena. This sunny haven beats the cloudy summer days at Willow Creek, that's for sure.

Ophelia takes advantage of the weather and starts a little garden. She's determined to be her best self this summer. She actually ends up liking it! She even plants an apple tree next to the yoga mat she never uses. Maybe that'll change!

Ophelia's Tartosa friends are psyched she's a local now, so they're going to show her around the plaza. But first, pictures! Gnomeo, who Ophelia kept after Harvestfest, had to get in on the pic. I couldn't get the lawn flamingo she stole from that museum in frame unfortunately.

Ophelia: Wow, what a pretty sitting area.

Drew: Don't get too excited, kiddo, it's all debug. You can look but you literally can't touch. Come on, we'll show you an area you can actually interact with.

Xander seems to know the stall vendor well.

Xander: Hey, Cam. Whatever my friends want, it's on me.

Ophelia: You don't have to do that, Xander. I'm no mooch.

Xander: My parents own this stall, Lemon Cake. They pay my salary, so technically this is me funding my future paycheck.

Ophelia: Thanks for showing me around, you guys.

Moses: No worries, love. Drew told me we're apparently your dads now, so it's our duty to look out for you.

Ophelia seems to be doing okay and I've never had her eat anything that required chopsticks before. Be a good example for Xander!

Moses: Sorry to hear things didn't work out between you two.

Ophelia: It was for the best. I'm just happy we'll still be friends.

Moses: Ah, staying friends with an ex, a queer right of passage. Hell, my ex introduced me to my current boyfriend. I'm sure you'll make it work.

Drew: Hey, at least you got out before it got too bad. Before I came out as nonbinary, I dated a guy for like forever, until I found out he planned to join the military and expected me to be his little army wife. Moving to Strangerville and staying at home all day? No thanks.

Ophelia: What about you, Xander? Any recent love life woes?

Drew: Don't bother. The man's an open book about everything except his romantic life. I know more about his most recent bladder failure than his last date.

Moses: Our theory is he's too embarrassed to bring anyone home because he lives with his parents.

Xander: You guys make it seem like I'm some loser that lives in the basement! …I live in the attic.

Ophelia: Haha

Ophelia: You've gotta make decent money, why don't you get your own place?

Xander: My parents had me when they were a little older. They're elders now, so I want to be there to help them out around the house.

Drew: Doesn't hurt that they live in a mansion.

Xander: Definitely.

Ophelia: Didn't realize I was rubbing elbows with Tartosa's elite!

Drew: I'll give him this, the Pappas family has money and influence around here, but Xander doesn't act like a rich asshole. Just a regular asshole.

Xander: That's the nicest thing they've ever said about me!

Drew: If you're looking to get back out there, I know tons of single girls. Or guys. Or others.

I took the liberty of screenshooting all the Among Us looks to see if they inspire you for characters (again, these are just examples and meant to inspire!) The colors kinda just went there, but really it’s up to whoever gets the character (but seriously, if you get Willow you gotta give her orange)

i gave Nina very USA hats, a sheriff one and a classic cowboy one

as for Fabian, i gave him the sleuthy Sherlock hat, obvi. also love that his color is the same as their uniform

i gave Patricia a scary mask thing that i think she’d like, and the chef hat was fun because of her cooking stuff in s2. the viking helmet is just random but i think she’d dig it (there’s a few random ones in here)
