I actually do like her official outfit! I just... had a deep need.... put that girl in a nightgown and slippers RIGHT NOW‼️‼️‼️‼️ Also it is admittedly so much easier to draw 🧍

I did try to keep in line with most of her official look though! Or add more emphasis to little details, like the red berries... other details I added, like the bloomers, keep the roundness of her og dress! BUT ALSO.... they are just so cutes.... I imagine they're made of rose petals...... I was also thinking angelic motifs. With the dress shape, and the smaller wings shaped as such!

#art #traditional art #watercolour #oc art #ocs #oc group: dave #oc: dave #was testing out a different brand of full cotton watercolour paper that was pretty affordable #(thats why you can see my entire watercolour palette to his right LOL)#i got hotpress cause i was curious and im like so mad because its so good #i think i like hot press better for smaller drawings like this like this is under 10 inches. for something like 15 inches or bigger #cold presses texture is really nice BUT for smaller stuff hot press lets the colour shine through #while the cold press papers ive tried at a small scale they tend to dull down the colours a lot and it takes way more layers to build up #hot press does seem to have funky blooming situations sometimes if you put on too much water at once (like you can see on his arm)#but isnt that the charm of watercolour now that i think about it.... i definitely leaned into it in the bg LOL #but anyway im so excited dude this paper was a DREAM to work with #i am mad tho because now i fully see the light. i understand why everyone tells me to use professional paper. but it is still. Costly #LUCKILY the stuff i got was not tooooooo expensive but still...... It Is Costly hjrkfsjkrfsd

WIP updates on my fanfic game...

While Lovestruck was limited to 3 standard choices, I can add a lot more...at least what fits on screen. An example is, the Seven Deadly Sins cocktail drinks. Of course, there is also an option to opt out!

I got a start on Onyx's action pose, but she has several costumes and two different weapons...one is her circus staff and the other is a spear. There's just a lot to draw for her. Finished Darius and Malakai action/weapon poses and coded them all in to test the sprites.

hey sorry for the stupid question but what is the weather like in australia? I used to think it was really hot there most of the year but when chanlix or skz are filming in australia it's not that sunny and it's it doesn't look like it's really hot either lol

Climate change gets the best of us </3 skz has only ever visited Melbourne and Sydney, these are both south eastern states so unlike say Western Australia or the Northern Territory or even Queensland, we aren't as hot as they are- contrary to the image of Australia that tends to exist I.e literal desert in the outback, we get winter and we get rain, it's autumn right now and today's forecasted temp is 27°c so... that's not exactly cold, but it's not always hot? It's all over the place lol

I think someone put the brain of a mouse or maybe a squirrel inside my head at some point because all winter I was like “I crave nuts and seeds” and now that it’s getting warmer and brighter out my brain keeps going “it’s fruit time”

Like, modern transportation has made it possible to move many fruits all over the world (in theory) all the time! But the primal early plesiadapiform part of my brain is like “you must eat what is available this season”

#I was going to go with euarchonta or plesiadapiform brain but I think the early members of both of those groups were from a tropical #ecosystem. if I’m wrong though and either are from more seasonal environments I could change what I used #actually. wait. plesiadapis is from the late Paleocene. yes. but tropical plants have reproductive cycles too #do they generally vary by season or are they just doing it all at their own pace by species #I am from a very cold seasonal climate that gets hot af in summer but is pretty cold for a good five-ish months #not all equally cold #it’s bad for our environment if it doesn’t get cold as balls for a bit every winter #and we didn’t really get that this winter. but that’s not my point!#I mean to say I can’t remember how it works in tropical environments #if the plants just time their reproduction whenever in the year or if there are seasons for most plants at the same time #does that make sense? I’m using the primate-like-mammal. if it’s wrong then whatever #fuck it we ball #maybe I should have gone with a group further back in time but I couldn’t find climate info easily about things that far back and fuzzier #i am not the most familiar with primate evolution. especially early evolution of the group. I’m open to learning more #i just tend to fixate on certain other things like early mammals and horse and cat evolution #paleontology #emma posts #I like juice all year though #one day I want to try many varieties of fruits that I cannot access easily where I live because they can’t be shipped here #or they just aren’t as popular a variety on an industrial scale #maybe one day i will have a big greenhouse and i will be able to grow the banana varieties I want to try #I can see why some plant varieties aren’t grown on a large scale. some of these bitches are SUPPOSED to be able to grow in zone four but #they refuse to work with me! blueberries make sense. the soil here is nowhere near acidic enough and they would need to be in a pot or #whatever. ya know? but some plants just won’t! or I get them and then the weather here which would NORMALLY work is different that season

... how am I meant to get any sort of restful sleep when it's like 85F indoors in my bedroom at NIGHT .. hhhhhhhhhhhhhh

#why the next poll adventure and everything else has taken so long lol.. I straight up have just not done anything #the past few days... staring down my todo list and sweating hopelessly #AT LEAST it;s relatively low humidity. the highest it's been up to is maybe 65%. but is usually around 50 or 40ish #There is one small window air conditioner in a roomate's room that can KIND OF be shared by nailing a sheet up to block off the hallway #with the rooms in it so the cool air goes into the other bedrooms but doesnt flow out into the kitchen or etc but #wjhen it's the time of day that the sun is directly hitting the window & it's like 102F outside even that doesnt help much. to cool 3 rooms #and I always feel like we're going to explode the air conditioner or something running it too much with direct heat on it. sometimes it #smells like hot plastic or whatever ghj.. so it's mostly just.. block off all windows with 5 layers of blankets and cardboard #starting at 10am (meaning.. no indoor light for days basically.. no natural lighting.. time passes weird. hard to determine time of day).#throw water on the bed every night so you sleep in wet sheets and keep your clothes and hair wet at all times. ice. cold drinks. keep a #little fan running pointed directly at you nearly 24/7 even when sleeping with a fan blowing air on you makes your eyes and throat painfull #dry. etc. etc.. and i KNOW people have it worse in plenty of places blah blah. i am just complaining on my little blog that is about me lol #I think the biggest thing about lack of adequate/central air conditioning for me is just the LACK of productivity!!! I am working on games!#and novels!! and so many other crafts. costumes! sculptures!!! things I want to do!!! we all have a limited amount of time on this planet a #nd I have so many goals!! To lose basically 4-5 days straight or producivity - when if I had been able to temperature #control my environment better I could have easily gotten more done because I wouldn't be laying around nuseous and too hot #and sick to do anything all day etc. -- is like.... GRRRRRR... it just feels so senseless.. i could have USEd that time...#Every CEO who has contributed to global warming owes me 1million doallrs to fund my art projects and make up for all the time #I've lost on them due to their stupid bullshit.. also they should be stoned to death in a public square. but redistribute the money FIRST #to everyone on the planet. but especially people who have been affected by floods. fires. etc. etc.#poor people who have limited choice in housing and access to air conditioning. homeless people in cooling centers. people with disabillitie #and health issues that are worse in the heat so the entire future just seems increasingly terrifying for them. etc. etc.#ANYWAY.... eughhhgh.... It can cool down SLIGHTLY at night but the past few nights I have been sleeping in an 81 degree room and I wake up #and first thing in the morning its like 82 by then and I'm so nauseous and nasty feeling... just so so tired of it.. I NEED SNOW #literally not even joking.. snow would heal me. .. oughffff...#AND i got the new nasty stinky poo poo pee pee tumblr dashboard update lol.. e v i l

oh my goddd i’m finally starting college & it literally doesn’t feel real. probably mostly bc it’s a 20 HOUR DRIVE from home. there’s snow everywhere it is so different up here.. anyway i am TERRIFIED but i’m litany against fearing it & just trying not to think abt it. going thru orientation so i just gotta follow directions for now p much & don’t need to worry abt other thangs.. we only have one day of nothing before class tho, i kinda wish it were more so i could rly get to know the campus & the area before college officially Starts

#it’s not as cold as i thought it’d be actually #i actually got hot walkin around in my coat #ik once my parents leave & everything this first week or two is going to be actual HELL on the homesickness front #i cried every time i went to a like week-long sleep away camp from homesickness #so i am anticipating that. it will be. bad #i miss my dog so much.. def gotta find time to process & cry abt that lol #my poor puppy.. he doesn’t even understand! he doesn’t know why i disappeared one day!! god it kills me #agh anyway. i can do hard thangs. or whatev #ghost rants
