These Whole Wheat Blueberry Donuts are a healthier alternative to traditional donuts, made with whole wheat flour, almond milk, and sweetened with maple syrup. They are baked, not fried, making them lower in fat and calories.
Ingredients: 1 cup whole wheat flour. 1/2 cup almond milk. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup blueberries fresh or frozen.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan. Put baking soda, baking powder, and whole wheat flour in a bowl and mix them together. When you're done with the dry ingredients, add the applesauce, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Mix everything together well. Add the blueberries to the batter slowly. Fill up each donut hole about two thirds of the way to the top with batter after greasing the pan. Bake the donuts for 12 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in one comes out clean. Take it out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, move it to a wire rack and let it cool all the way down.

These Greek Chicken Pita Sandwiches are packed with flavor and make a delicious meal prep option. Marinated chicken, crisp vegetables, creamy yogurt, and tangy feta cheese come together in a wholesome whole wheat pita bread.
Ingredients: 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly. 1/4 cup olive oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 lemon, juiced. 1 tsp dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 whole wheat pita breads. 1 cup Greek yogurt. 1 cucumber, thinly sliced. 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved. 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Put in the chicken slices and let them sit for at least 30 minutes. Set a grill pan on medium-high heat. About 4 to 5 minutes on each side, grill chicken slices until they are fully cooked. For one minute, warm up pita bread in the oven or on the grill. Put some Greek yogurt in the middle of each pita bread. Toast chicken slices, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese on a grill. Place them in pitas. Add fresh parsley as a garnish. Serve right away or tightly wrap to make ahead of time.
