Demon twins? Demon twins. 

Damian? Good at the assassin side of things, at least for a four year old, but Danyal? He’s okay, but he’s far better at things like poisons and bookkeeping. Which is honestly? Okay. They’re the League of Shadows, and sure a majority of the members are assassins, but it’s definitely not all there are. So? Danyal starts getting medical training. 

Not to say that either of the boys don’t know their fair share of violence and healing- it’s just better to let them play to their strengths. One doesn’t keep a league over centuries if they just have one type of warrior, or even just warriors. A variety is needed. 

So one gets trained more towards the business side of things. Damian may be better at wielding the weapons and killing- even if neither have had their first kill quite yet- but Danyal shows far more proficiency at acting, at masking who he is and gathering information. 

Damian, when he’s first sent to their Father, doesn’t mention his twin. Not because he’s jealous or hates him or anything like that. You just don’t talk about someone in an undercover mission in the League, and it’s not something he realizes isn’t a rule everywhere. 

Needless to say, the Bats have more than a mild freakout the first time Damian mentions a twin who will be coming to the manor now that his mission is over.

DC x DP Idea

After several years, Danny and Damian meet each other again at a gala. But there was no heartfelt reunion since the moment they led eyes on each other it was all-out war. Damian takes out a sword from somewhere and Danny just starts throwing hands.

The fighting is intense, and blood is being spilled (what are those glowing green specks?). They are screaming at each other in Arabic as it's easier to slip back to your mother tongue when in rage right? This makes the fight more personal.

Most people don't understand what they're saying but those who do look at the boys then Bruce. Bruce then back to the boys again. Like B, we know you're stupid but you fucked this person twice.... did you NOT see the red flags the SECOND TIME!?!?

The fight ends with Damian on the ground with the sword grazing his neck. He looks up to Danyal with the fear of god in his eyes, knowing that with one swift movement, he'll be dead on the dance floor. But Danny's eyes were cold and tired, they were dead. No spark, no sense of life in those chilling blue depths.

Calmly, Danny spoke to Damian. His voice was crystal clear, cool like a mountain stream.

"Just because you jumped into the fire behind me doesn't mean you felt the pain I did.  Your hand was held above the flames while I was being burnt in the fucking fire."

Damian begins to cry because he knows that Danny is right. No matter what he went through, it would never compare to what happened to his big brother. Even more so, when he feels long lanky arms wrap around him, a cool hand rubbing his back soothingly, and whispers of sweet nothingness entering his ears.

He cries because no matter what he does he will never be like his big brother.

Like... Imaging getting a miracle second chance not only at life but to have be loved by the man you've always admired only to find out that his family detests you because during the worst time in your life, physically and mentally you didn't take into account the idea that a man who'd always treated with cool acquaintance at best, active distaste at worst actually cared about you and that his constant reproach and effort get you do give up the one method you have to protect yourself while everyone was literally actually out for your head was honestly because he was badly wording his concern and not because he hated you and the methods you used to survive.

it makes me want to tear my hair out when someone mentions that platonic relationships need to have sexual/romantic undertones to be interesting. friendships that blur the lines between romantic and platonic is great, friendships that have sexual relations are great, any kind of friendship is great. but these days im seeing this awful thought of "friendship needs to not be strictly platonic to be interesting and platonic" and people don't realise that this is just "friendships are less important than romantic/sexual relationship" in a different font. im very intense about my friends and each of my relationship with them is different than the other. one of my best friends is also almost like my partner. another one of my best friend is just my best friend. there is nothing romantic or sexual orientation whatever between us. i love both of them dearly and one relationship here is not more important than the other to me. i smile so wide my face hurts when i see her walking towards me. we used to live a few streets away and yet everytime i saw her i used to run to go embrace her. i have seen them in their lowest and they have seen me in mine. i do not want to kiss her on the lips or make her my girlfriend. the thought has never crossed my mind. but she has saved my life multiple times. she is a part of my soul. she is my friend. and if you say "yeah, that's what i mean, that emotion and its intensity is inherently romantic!" then that means you haven't experienced the height of love and care friendship can offer and im so sorry for your loss. also you are subscribing into the inherently harmful thought of "everything that is intense and meaningful is romantic". like my wonderful friend vik once said, "they're not my just anything. they're my friends."

And today I've got so many things to share, hope no one's brain explodes. It IS pretty awesome stuff.

Firstly, some progress shots from my beloved fan comic No Time To Apologize:

Lots of shouting in these pages. Except for Solas, who only shouts about ABHORRING BLOOD MAGIC. I want to try and get ten pages done before the end of March. Hopefully it works, okay if it doesn't. It would just be nice to have a complete short story comic to show off, since my current portfolio is roughly..... four years out of date. Also, I enjoy this way more than my thesis. Which I'm also working on. Definitely. Forever.

Speaking of complete, here's a sketchy lil painting I did after reading The Gifts of Elgar'nan over the weekend - specifically this chapter from the Pieces of Mind fic:

Guys, this fic. This fic did things to me. It's not just a great fanfic, it's legitimately one of my favorite pieces of fantasy writing I've ever read. It's so loving and tender while also not glazing over the dark fantasy edge that has always been a part of Dragon Age.

(Also, yes, I know that's not the writer's Rook, but as I played a Shadow Dragon Rogue elf on my second playthrough, and there aren't any physical descriptions of Rook in the fic beyond the fact that they're female and an elf, I couldn't help but picture my Rook. So. Yeah. Hope that's okay 😐)

Plus, it has copious amounts of Dorian Pavus in it, which I felt was greatly lacking in Veilguard (still love it, but we gotta acknowledge the flaws, and not having more Dorian was a serious, gaping flaw, I'm sorry).

Thanks to airplane's interventions (small, meaningless comments it things said under his breath) YQY is a little bit more yandere than in PIDW. He doesn't necessarily encroach on sqq but he did make a soul lamp for him.

On the day of the svsss!fatal qi deviation, yqy sees the lamp, always with him, dim dangerously.

As it turns out, SY isn't the only one who thinks self-destructing is a great way to save someone you love from qi deviation.

I feel like Qimir is actually very soft. Like his “fake persona” as an apothecary shop owner is something he probably always wanted to be anyway and was like “well when you’ve lost everything why not take care of some plants and shit” He’s so soft and affectionate with Osha, something he hasn’t been able to be with anyone in such a longgggg time. Shows he’s comfortable with you by YAPPING. Wants to let his guard down and trust someone so bad, just make soup and have a garden and feed the little beach aliens.

Which is why I doubt he’ll ever be a real Sith bc he just wants to be free to be himself. His saber is red bc hands are rated E for anyone that gets in his way of being himself lol. Can experience and validate his own heavy emotions (darkness) well.
