Hi tumblr, i don’t normally promote things, but i wanted to promote my genloss superhero au Shadows of Your Past!!

It’s a Spider!GenLoss!Ranboo fic with Sneeg and Charlie being his brothers and fellow heroes! Showfall did their thing and now he can’t remember anything before waking up in their offices. He escapes and his brothers help him heal and recover, while also making some discoveries about Showfall along the way.

one thing i really wanted to do with this au is reverse the initial dynamic we had in canon with these two; now sadness is the one who has to... "put up" with joy, be the more experienced and respected one of the two, not quite understand what her whole deal is, get frustrated with her optimism, and put some work in to understand her point of view.

samira's been a journalist for around six years by the time the story starts...and she's purposefully isolated herself and sidestepped having a coworker for all those years. suddenly gaining such a goofy, chaotic "partner" is...a bit much for sammy, initially. while she's as patient as ever, jane seems to have a talent for testing that patience. and what's with her rare moments of seriousness that she brushes off just as quickly? it takes sammy a while to stop viewing jane as an extra responsibility that's been dumped on her, and yet despite her insistence that getting stuck with jane is "just her luck" , a lot of her thoughts and time seem to be consumed by her...a suspicious amount, even... 🤔😳 and that's not even counting her endless notes (and doodles...) of solarflare.

annnd while felix himself has never met jane (even though he HAS very much met sol), he's frequently subject to sammy's complaints about her. not that he minds. maybe this strange mystery coworker can finally convince his best friend to stop wallowing in her misery all the time...

However, Coordinator Conway is a concept that I adore so much that I just couldn't forget about it! I will be really honest but I don't have a lot of time to draw in general so my process is more 'this is between cosmic entities, the 30minutes I have and me, I draw whatever the fck happens in my head' rather than having really complex steps :'))

I have some speedpaints! (I record them a lot it helps me for some details)

I think this one is the most representative of how I work

I doodle a lot of stuff on the same file and I often go to one drawing to another because I can't draw more than 30min/1hour on a drawing most of the time ://

When doing bigger illustrations I do sometimes just really quick doodles to have the idea, doodle or some notes on my phone notepad (and I wrote a lot on it too, here is a chaotic example of a stuff I never finished that makes me laugh so hard)

I don't do lineart too, and mostly just 'clean' my sketches/doodles, and I do a sketch for colors too (to test stuff) before doing the 'clean colors' on bigger pieces.

I use one layer for the sketch, one for the basic background and one layer for the colors, then merge everything to paint over it. (I use some effects on layers for colors then merge them)

I have a really doodling/sketchy style (and no time) so it works for me but tbh it really depends on what you want for your artstyle too. If you like flat colors I think colored lines look better than just sketch but this is my preference ^^

So with my Mom’s cancer being back, my own health stuff, and everything else going on, I’m not sure I’ll be able to be the most active in this round of bookclub (and I do have a lot of words muted and stuff hidden because of mental health and streamlining things and Tumblr's an ass about showing posts sometimes—so if I miss a post, please don’t take it personally!). ): It honestly makes me super upset

But I really hope that everyone has a good time and I can’t wait to see what people cook up! <3 Last time was SO MUCH FUN it makes me a little nervous about living up to those expectations aksjdkajsn But as long as someone has a good time, that's what counts :3

saiki is such a fucking loser when it comes to romance (and also in general shh) that no matter who it is hes trying to date, he ALWAYS waits for THEM to confess. he will NEVER be the one to confess first..

i dont think he even CONSIDERS the fact that he could confess first, even though he can read their mind and knows exactly how they feel about him.. he waits and waits for a confession and when he doesnt get it, he gets really frustrated and is like 'i guess they just arent serious about me 😒🙄' BRO YOU HAVENT CONFESSED EITHER ?? YOU HAVE THE CAPABILITIES TO DO IT TOO WHY ARE YOU A HYPOCRITE ??
