The fact that there are people out there thinking that Nancy shouldn't put importance on a romantic relationship, because it's perceived as lessening her worth as a character....like when are female characters going to be allowed to be human beings?

Obviously female characters have been reduced to love interests for ages, so it's understandably a sensitive topic, but the solution is definitely not to have two-dimensional macho badass action heroines who only care about guns and maybe their career.

How about we have more relatable, three-dimensional, truly human characters for all genders instead? Characters that are like real people with insecurities, flaws, and strengths; people that juggle friendships, romance, family, school/work, and maybe some interdimensional mystery; people who have layers and trauma and hopes and dreams and experience raw vulnerability.

Nancy is all that, and so are Steve and Jonathan and Robin, and all the other main characters. And I'm looking forward to watch their character's journey in s5, with romance and everything else.

there's so much I dislike (being polite and generous about it) about the vengeance saga and 600 strike specifically, but I am not immune to the satisfaction of hearing odysseus take out his misery on someone who caused so much of it, especially after basically two sagas of barely hearing from him at all.

it doesn't make much sense and it doesn't really compel me, but odysseus deserves to rip someone apart.
