No but like every time I think about Splinter and what he had to go through just to keep the boys alive, my heart hurts for him so badly. Is he perfect? No not at all, but none of them are and by god does he love his sons.

The fact that all of them are alive, and grew to thrive despite the circumstances surrounding them is a testament of how much Splinter loves his boys. He raised four babies following the most traumatic time of his life, all alone with nothing but the sewers to house them (to hide them.) I feel like he’s not given the credit he deserves for all he’s done.

And I get that it’s easy to hold up his flaws and faults when it comes to parenting, I myself like looking into them because flawed characters are super interesting and said flaws make them more realistic and engaging, but he tries, and again, so many others would have given up on the boys or failed along the way but Splinter didn’t.

He’s their father, for all his faults he did his damndest to make sure they survived.

There's a handful of fanfic with this basis already (my fav is one where the kiddos assume the bots are made by Hephaestus and they meet during the battle of Olympus ngl, fucks the bots up but the kids are like "idk why Heph made them Like That but like bud hurry up, crisis later zoom zoom now pls") but like, I think my favorite way to handle this that I also haven't seen ever would be in a reality where Unicron is earth. So the gods are fighting earth and then the bots roll up like "... Didn't Unicron have a female holoform?" "IDK but that's definitely Unicron or one of his kids my mech"

Also also, would this make OP be a demigod or a god? Would nectar and ambrosia work for ALL the bots, would it be considered really wimpy energon, or something else entirely unique to the earth gods? This is such a fascinating playground for the bots ESPECIALLY depending on which reality it's set in. Bayverse OP would HAAAAAATE that kids gotta fight but would also throw hands with them, G1 would feel Things about it but would help however he could, and I feel like Megs in some other realities would try and mentor these humans like "I will make sure you live to see the end to the best of my ability, Do Not Disappoint Me"

In my mind, Optimus is at MOST a demigod, if not a situation a little closer to what was happening in the Egyptian pantheon books with the godlings (? Iicr what they were named??) where it was gods lightly possessing mortals. I personally see the Thirteen Primes as demigods, full stop, as more direct creations of Primus. (Though, I dabble in situations where they're completely mortal too)

In my mind, ambrosia is probably unique to the Earth gods, as Primus/Unicron and their stuff seems to have their own things going on (the various different types of energon) (I'm a little curious how dark energon might play with a human demigod or a monster differently than it would a mortal human or cybertronians)

But also, I've forgotten here, THE STUFF YOU'RE SUGGESTING WITH UNICRON'S HOLOFORM AND CHILDREN OF UNICRON, OO?👀👀👀????

Man, it's going to be such a realization for the human demigods we're following this time that, yes, not only are gods and monsters real and here on Earth, but alien are real too and they have their own alien gods. One of which just so happens to be the Earth's core :3

i’ve always personally thought that shadow has a more specified skillset and sonic has more overall potential. they come up about equal most of the time but if sonic gets serious then he wins. shadow relies on more specific skills and aids like chaos manipulation and his skates to close the gap. he’s operating near the upper bounds of his potential at all times, there’s desperation and super forms and shit that’d let him be even stronger, but generally he’s just about as strong and as fast as he could possibly be. sonic however, sonic could get infinitely stronger with sheer force of will and time. i don’t think he’s holding back or anything, i just think he has no interest in the pursuit of perfection. sonic is exactly as powerful, as fast, as he wants or needs to be, plus some.

This post got away from me bc this game makes me think a lot but what I actually wanted to say is: Curly could have done more by being more present for Anya and being more Aware of Jimmy's actions (and intervening to make sure he isn't able to interact with Anya in isolated settings). Like I also think straight up murder isn't an ideal solution but like. There's a lot of fucking THINGS YOU CAN DO TO SUPPORT VICTIMS THAT ARENT MURDER

In the end I think it's a consequence of basing the approach on punishing the aggressor rather than supporting the victim, because like. It's less important to Kill Jimmy (no matter how much you want to) and way more important to KEEP ANYA SAFE
