i love lucisev in any flavor its given to me but in particular i really enjoy 1) lucisev thats been together since pre going back in time and dont even remember when they “happened” theyve just always been a forever constant and comfort without having to label it or eachother until they dont have it anymore (being separated post time jump) and 2) lucisev that has never happened and its been a pining disastrous mess for years on both ends but then selena leaves for nohr and when laslow and odin ask what she’s holding herself back for she doesnt answer but they already know. when they come back home, selena searches everywhere for her and sometimes, she’s too late. lucina’s already packed up and left the world behind, and for what? no one really knows. but sometimes, she finds her again, but it’s been so long and lucina’s not sure they can go back to being the same way they used to be, not after feeling hurt and betrayed by severa’s sudden departure. but things like this take time, and selena is finally at a place in her life where she can decidedly say she has all of the time in the world.

My favourite part of the term "T'hy'la is the fact that despite it being a Vulcan bond that seems sorta profound and meaning so many things, it is only used in the context of Kirk and Spock's relationship.

I'm about 80% sure that no two other individuals in the Star Trek universe refer to each other as T'hy'la once. It's purely a Kirk and Spock thing. Sure, maybe that's because a lot of crew's have other stories to be telling other than Vulcan bonds but still- it's interesting.

You'd think that even a Vulcan pair that shows up once would at least throw the term around. Like casually slipping that they're t'hy'la. It's a canon phrase, albeit in the TMP novel, but still- canon.

Anyways! That was just my silly thought of the day! I just found it a bit funny that Spirk gets this special silly phrase to themselves. And that Star Trek hasn't once tried to shove two males [or females] as purely platonic t'hy'la and then have a male and female pair be romantic t'hy'la to try and make it straight.

I had a thought that sounded completely batshit crazy even to me, but it was something concerning Mu Qing, and nothing concerning Mu Qing is completely batshit crazy, because he’s a character who has a train of thought but no fucking rails.

So. Whoever decided to give Mu Qing something akin to a choker in donghua is clearly a genius and the greatest designer there is. But also a lot of thought and context usually goes into character design, so could this decision have a deep meaning? Could it tell something about Mu Qing? And then the batshit crazy level hit me:

Could Mu Qing’s ‘choker’ be symbolically connected to Xie Lian’s cursed shackle???

But then I remembered that young Qi Rong also has some kind of a choker and thought nah, someone in the studio just knows how to make men sexy.
