That's the only word Robin could think about himself as he fell. He was sloppy tonight, don't know what it is or why. Yet he failed to grapple and when going up it snapped, he fell down. Red Robin and Spoiler were with him, they turned back when they heard the snap and had front row seat to Robin's miserable plummet.

Before Robin could try and save himself, his back hit the scaffolding that the three were meant to cross.

Robin couldn't stop his descent down now. Spoiler caught him in time so he didn't get a nasty meet with the pavement.

"Oh God Robin are you okay?"

Robin's eyes were wide yet all he could see was white. "A-ah... no" Robin's eyes were quickly welling with tears.

Red Robin dropped down to them, putting his hand on Robin's shoulder to provide comfort.

"Damn that is gonna leave a nasty bruise, did you hit anything else?"

"Paralyzed..."

"What?! Are you certain?"

"Don't make me go back to her..."

Spoiler put her hand on Robin's neck, feeling his quick pulse. "Negative, he's in shock from the pain. Must be flashbacks to the trauma that he's reliving now"

"Oracle coming in, I saw that you guys haven't moved to the crime scene, is something going on?"

Red Robin answered as Spoiler held Robin carefully "Robin's grapple snapped and his back hit the scaffolding, he's in shock from the pain and experiencing signs of trauma"

"Can you guys get him back on your own or should I call backup?"

"No, we can manage, is there someone who can cover for us tonight?"

"Yeah I'll call Batman, get back safely"

"Will do, Red Robin out"

Robin shivered "I can't move... I can't be Robin, I'm useless. I don't want her to touch me, she'll use me... it hurts a lot"

In his desperate plea to not be used in such a way, he drops the formalities as to show his want and appeal to Talia. If even a shred of the love she holds for him can shine away the Lazarus Pit for a moment, so that she would do this just to help instead of using him.

Stephanie and Tim had to hold him down as Alfred grabbed a needle, they planned to make him sleep so they can easily take a look at the injury. Damian was difficult, not without a reason of course. He was still in shock from the pain and instead of feeling that he was lying down in the dirt as rain poured unable to move. Now he was there, now they were trying to put him to sleep so they could start the surgery.

She replaced his spine for a metal one, only to use it so he would kill Dick"
