Griffith is not a narcissist and that is such a fundamentally wrong reading of his character that it cheapens the story. (Like...do y'all remember that scene where he was so devastated by the child soldier dying for his cause that he resolved to prostitution when he was a child himself to raise the money needed for his army and was still plagued with that child and other soldiers' deaths even when he was making his decision during the eclipse, and how he risked his life to save Guts. And would a narcissist save Casca like he did?) Nor does he have any other personality disorder as far as I can tell.

I don't think he hates himself either (as one might think with how he keeps resolving to self-harm in difficult situations.)

What I think is that he's someone who is very high- maintenance for himself. It's like he's two persons in one (No, I'm not saying he's got DID our anythinf I'm just using this allegory to describe Hriffith's contradictory feelings) when one has to keep doing everything (including leaving behind people and things he likes, like forever fighting side by side with Guts) for the other to reach his dream and is very done with it and is like:"why should I go through all this shit for this bitch (himself) to reach his dream?"

Do you think gojo's vision before he died was real or just his imagination?

There's one reason that makes me think it was real and that's what Nanami says here:

Gojo couldn't possibly know that Nanami saw Haibara in his last moments.

And before this, Nanami was talking about a conversion he had with Mei Mei, we can presume that Gojo didn't know about that conversation either, but that's uncertain, he could have heard about it before from either Nanami or Mei Mei, or this conversation could have never happened and be just something that Gojo's mind made up. But we know for sure that Nanami saw Haibara right before his death. It's very unlikely that Gojo's mind just made up such a specific lucky guess. And he couldn't have heard it from anyone. It was Nanami's delusion and deeply personal. Nobody else knew about it.

So that's why I very strongly assume that this is the real Nanami and this whole thing really happened.
