My favourite fantasy lately is Kuya kidnapping Eiden and bringing him to a house in the woods to punish him for endangering himself during some adventure. Kuya keeps Eiden in bondage and constantly on edge, teasing and denying him. And Eiden just takes it without asking to be let out, allowing Kuya to vent his fear and frustration, because he's nice like that.

But, at some point, even the strongest little soldiers break, and just when Eiden is about to shatter from all the stress and Kuya's oppressive anxiety, Quincy comes for the rescue. He's the only one who managed to find that little wooden shack in the middle of nowhere (you know, because Kuya's allowed him to), and he comes in and persuades Kuya to relent.

Kuya hasn't even given Eiden any dick in all the (three? four?) days they've been at it, so serious he was about the discipline aspect!

Eiden cries when Kuya finally fucks him, and Quincy makes him spill

If I were to successfully convince myself of writing a time travel-ish coralaw fic (maybe even poly with doflamingo) should it be with an older Law or kid Law

I mean, vague idea is that Law somehow ends up in the past when the Donquixote brothers were still kids themselves. If I throw in a bit of an alternate universe, young Law could convince their family that he can help, maybe even bring them to his parents so the sick mom can be treated before she succumbs to the illness.

But adult Law taking care of the young brothers would be fun, too. Finding them when they were hanging off the wall, or perhaps after Doflamingo shoots their dad.

And Law would at least partially remember things, if not fully aware of all of their future.

thinking about book cerise/raven again and the way it converted me completely in the span of like 300 pages. listen. listen. it's about cerise trusting raven with her biggest secret. it's about raven coming to cerise for help about her now uncertain destiny. it's about cerise letting raven in and becoming her friend despite her need for secrecy and solitude. it's about raven inspiring cerise to be proud of who she is, simply by showing her that they all have a choice. it's about cerise outing herself to save raven. it's about raven fighting smarter than all the hoods and wolfs combined to help cerise win the right to choose her fate. it's about cerise coming out of her shell and welcoming friendship and camaraderie because of raven's efforts. it's about raven being afraid and unsure in a dangerous place doing dangerous things, and wishing she were wrapped up in cerise's cloak instead, to ward all the bad things away. it's about

All the fucking Rabbit craziness (bare with me)

All the rabbit symbolism and it makes my brain connect to things that people say that aren't even connected.

I forgot where I saw it because for the life of me there's YJ content anywhere I go, but it mentioned something called Rabbit Starvation. It's the syndrome when you can die from a stomach full of rabbits because rabbits don't contain a lot of nutrition so it's protein poisoning, essentially.

There are many ways to starve and Shauna starves in practically all of them. She starves for the hunt, she starves for Jackie. She has so many rabbits because rabbits are never enough. She killed the rabbit because it invaded her garden and it gave her a taste of who she was the butcher and it wasn't enough. She fed the rabbit to her family because that's what she does, she's a provider but if she feeds it to them enough it's poisoning them.

But then Jackie is also the rabbit. We think of rabbits and we think of Jackie. Shauna consumes Jackie in any way she can over and over again and it's never enough. Consuming Jackie in the wilderness wasn't enough. Jackie probably died thinking she wasn't enough. The constant consumption will kill Shauna but she can't help it, she needs more. Her succumbing to the urges again, to butcher, to fall into the wilderness again, started when she fed her family the rabbit and introduced them to her starvation but also to the wilderness.

And, and, and. So I got really into etymology of Yellowjackets characters. I left that post in the drafts somewhere but I learned a lot of neat things.

First off, Jackie and Shauna are names that originated from the same place. It's the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן (Yochanan) and it's where we got names like John/Ivan/Sean/Shawn/Jack/Joan/Shauna, this name is fucking everywhere. They have the same fucking name in different origins, which goes to show how connected these two are. But theeen,

Jackie is a nickname. At least, we can assume it's a nickname and her actual name is Jacqueline. Jacqueline is not part of the same family tree as John/Ivan/Shawn etc., it's from the family tree of Jacques/James/Jacob (originating as Ya'aqov). It means "holder of the heel" because Jacob in the bible was the younger brother. It essentially means coming in second. Jacqueline, whoever she really is, is second to Jackie, who Jackie wants to be because it makes her even closer to Shauna.

Jacqueline also means supplanter, someone who takes over. Pre-crash it was her taking over Shauna's life, or at least, what she thought was taking over her life. Post-crash, then we see how Jackie actually takes over Shauna's life.

Lmao, so why did I go on the tangent about etymology. Because as far as I could search, Sadecki is Polish in origin and it means...

Garden.
