Tbh prowl hatred comes from how he's postured in the story. And the fact people see violence in interpersonal relationships as more evil.

This doesn’t change my point at all. The fact that people are going to “what’s more evil” about TRANSFORMERS OF ALL THINGS is quite crazy to me. How about we do character studies instead or idk, learn some reading comprehension. Prowl is a VERY complex character and from my understanding, every decision and skewed viewpoint he has on things is explained to you, handed on a platter in fact. ALL transformers characters are very interesting in similar ways and I hardly see any discussion on this. I’m not saying people can’t hate him or that I don’t understand the hatred, i’m saying that people who try to be all “well. he did x,y, and z and it’s more bad so i hate him more” abt prowl are immature, like truthfully you can just hate a guy. That’s it.

I can name several autobots and/or decepticons that have done similar or worse shit. It’s pretty insane to be a fan of characters with issues and problems and actively ignore those parts of them when it’s convenient, but when a character you dislike has those issues, it’s suddenly the only thing to bring up about that character?

Not everything has to be some moral stance you’re taking especially when you’re being contradictory to yourself. Prowl hatred is valid. As someone who LOVES prowl’s character, i don’t care that he has haters, but i think it’s a bit nuts to try and say that he’s completely evil, and then go and love a bunch of decepticons. Especially when, alot of the decepticons are just as complex. Like you can just not like him, don’t say stupid stuff.
