i love billboards
controversial take, i know, but i like the spice they bring to boring drives through the middle of nowhere. i'm bored out of my mind but then. i see something wonderful. this advertisement for a lawyer i'll never hire or an AC repair service i don't need or a fast food place I don't eat at is slightly less boring that mile upon mile of corn field/soybean field/desert/boredom. it's a wonderous eyesore and i love it.
i also love that thirty minute stretch before you hit the Illinois border coming from Indiana where all the billboards are advertising fireworks.

Do you guys want my new skincare routine? Im sharing my new low-effot high-reward skincare routine.
In the morning! I wash my face with a salicylic acid oil-free face wash. Then i do some hydration cream, because the face wash kinda dries me out but it works, and the teeniest drop of retinol on problem areas (ie chin and jawline). Then some suncream, because it feels like the right thing to do. Then lip balm, bc of course.
At night! I wash my face again. I go in with the retinol all over. I cover any spots with this gel that works like those spot patches but it just works better and feels more hygienic for me, and the gel is better than the patches for my skin picky tendencies. Then i go over any unhealed spots and red marks with some classic e45 because it helps with the picky tendencies too. Then lip balm too of course.
I swap pillow cases roughly every six weeks, flipping sides every three weeks or so (not at strict intervals! This is very low effort. I do it when i notice more problem area spots on whichever side ive been sleeping on)
And thats it. Four steps, sometimes five. Which is good for me because i used to do like seven/eight steps with different serums and multiple face washes and i simply dont have time and tbf i wasnt seeing results anyway so i like. Stopped all of it completely and resorted to face wipes and nothing else until i eased myself back up to here.

Feyrien is a Reaver. By the time of Veilguard, he has gone through the first phase and partially into the second phase. His sense of vengeance and rage towards Solas pushed him towards abusing the blood. (like a Templar abusing Lyrium)
I can only hope he dies so that he doesn't go into the third phase, tbqh lol.

I'm getting increasing convinced that trans women are magic and hold the answer to all of life's problems. If you have a problem, there's a trans woman out there who can solve it.

I'm not entirely sure, because that whole chunk of time is kinda hazy, even by the usual standards of my memory, but I think today is the anniversary of when my large intestine finally actually fell apart and I nearly died and got rushed into emergency surgery and all that. It's either today or tomorrow. Very thankful that I felt shitty enough even before that that I didn't let them discharge me from the hospital. If I'd been on the way home by the time I realized just how bad I was feeling, we never would have made it back to Harborview in time.

hi random person visiting thru one of ur posts. i also have evil hell dandruff and i found coal tar shampoo is basically perfect for helping to keep down the flaking :) unfortunately the itching wont go all the way away tho :(
Oh yeah for sure, I actually have like 6 bars of coal tar soap, plus coal tar shampoo, plus Neutrogena acid free face wash (it has salicylic acid), plus normal shower stuff. I am in itch and drift hell. Basically the only time I don't itch is straight after a shower, but if I just tousle my hair a little bit it's a snow drift and feels Terrible
(For those unaware, salicylic acid is a skin product that helps dead skin strip off easier and acts like a mild antibacterial, usually used for acne or, if you watch hoof gp videos, the powdered form is used to allow dead skin to separate and keep exposed live skin from getting infected. In the case of dandruff, all it does is help make the top layer of dandruff easier to remove. Coal tar extract and coal tar, however, actually inhibits skin growth specifically, preventing dandruff and such caused by shedding excess overgrown skin like in psoriasis. Another option for who's issue is eczema instead of psoriasis and normal causes is products containing Colloidal Oatmeal, since eczema involves try skin that cracks and needs moisturizing and soothing, rather than scales of dead skin that are easily peelable. Usually dandruff shampoos have neither, such as head and shoulders which has pyrithione zinc in normal products, and usually selenium sulfide in stronger products aimed at fungal issues that cause dandruff. If you suffer from untreatable dandruff, explore your options on potential causes, and try different active chemicals that attack different sources of the issue)

It just hit me how fucking STUPID it is that I'm allergic to soda. Like. What the fuck, immune system?? You decided that attacking my skin was too boring? That you didn't want to get upset at me consuming just eggs anymore??? You needed to add something else??? This is bullshit. I want a refund.
