So I Wanted to Talk About Hell's Hierarchy

Personally, I think Sinners and Hellborn should be swapped. The Hellborn are native to Hell. It is their natural home while the Sinners are there as a punishment. I would think that Sinners would be more on par with imps and hellhounds.

I think it would make for some interesting social issues within Hell itself. Like imagine how the Hellborn would feel about Overlords? Sinners who are supposed to be beneath them who have clawed their way up the ranks to a position that supercedes them? It would also add that much more importance and prestige to the rank of Overlord and they'd have to struggle with the Hellborn who refuse to acknowledge them as their equals and look down on them for being Sinners.

Having clashes between the Sinners and the Hellborn would be interesting while also having the complexities of imps and hellhounds also being Hellborn but being seen as just as low as Sinners.

Attempting something a little different.

Lend me an ear and I’ll sing you a song. A tale of the world from long ago. 

When the sun shone down on lands free from suffering, free from pain. And the stars, jewel bright in the sky, never failed to guide lost souls home. And flowers bloomed in colors we no longer have names for. When the world was a paradise without want or woe. 

There was a mighty city with sparkling spires and transcendent towers. And the people there gave their love to the star tenfold. Beyond the city many rivers flowed through fertile plains. For the star answered their love with every bounty. 

And in the river delta three children met to play. They fashioned creatures out of clay and wished them to life. They built boats out of reeds and used the wind to race them. Such were their games. And when the sun drew down towards the horizon they clasped each others’ hands and promised eternal companionship. 

But the children didn’t see that the Fates hovered over them, whispering in their ears. To one they whispered of pride. And to the next they whispered of sacrifice. And to the last they whispered of change. The whispers settled deep in their hearts and none knew what secret dreams the others clutched in their souls. 

And the Fates laughed at the children’s vows, knowing with the intimate knowledge of a craftsman what the tapestry of the future showed. For none in any age can defy their Fate.

“Why do you tell such an unhappy tale?” said the girl lying in the grass beside the river.

Artists cancelling their shows (especially so last minute that people can’t get refunds) is definitely too common an occurrence and should be discouraged. However i don’t think I’ve personally ever seen any artists receive THIS much backlash from doing so, and i don’t think it’s a coincidence that the artist getting the most hate for doing something other performers have done and will do is a lesbian woman

Something that I find genuinely interesting (??? Not sure if that’s the right word) is the internets use of “pick me girl”.

I know it’s been around for a while and that it’s certainly not going away any time soon but it just makes me sad. Because while the people who are often labelled as “pick mes” aren’t very nice to be around and none of this justifies their actions that often involve putting over girls down, it seems to me that it’s a common phase to have had.

As in, I can’t think of a single girl I’ve been friends with who hasn’t had a “pick me phase”. Including myself. It seems like a universal experience of all teenage girls that later see sense and regret it years later.

And that has me wondering, maybe it isn’t the girls that should be criticised on a world wide scale but the society that they’re surrounded with that has essentially criminalised the teenage girl. The society that has made little girls desperate to get away from the stereotype that they’re defined by from a young age, that pushes them towards making masculinity and an association with “the boys” as a defining personality trait.

“Pick me Girls” aren’t people I enjoy socialising with. To achieve this distinction away from femininity, they resort to putting other girls down for any actions they perceive as feminine. This obviously is not a nice thing to do.

However it really does feel like the term does just get slung around to bring down women in general. You act too feminine and you’re a “girly girl”, you’re naturally tomboyish and you’re a “pick me”. All of these terms that are designed to push women down for anything and it’s welcomed with open arms because it targets people we find annoying.

I’m not gonna pretend my anything is at all popular or that people really care what platform I’m on, but just letting the few who might know I’m not touching it for a bit, even though, and I quote “As a result of President Trumps efforts, TikTok is back in the U.S.!” So yeah, ick. I really am just not a fan that it feels like this whole ban is some kind of publicity stunt to get the younger generations to like him and his party, after that same party being the ones to push for a ban in the first place. Mostly I just really don’t like how much time I spent on it, so I’m gonna take a step back from it

Manly Man things that your Old Man may not have told you (because he just though you knew)

Things in life are not suppose to suck. We, collectively as a society, have gotten really good at addressing specific things in life that suck and making them suck less. This is a bunch of Man Centric issues that i just though was an sucky part about being A Man that actually have solutions.

Facail hair is a lottery. it can come in fully by 15 or 25. My brother had a full beard by 16 the same year i was struggling to grow much of anything past peach fuzz at 19. now he has to shave his neck every other day while i can get away without shaving at all for 3-4 days and only end up with a 5'oclock shadow of a goatee. while on the subject.....

Growing a beard/mustache is not suppose to be physically uncomfortable. if you find that you cant stand having facial hair that goes past setting 3 or 4 on a trimmer because its just Uncomfortable all the time, you need to start using a Beard Oil of some kind. Its basically conditioner for your beard. its easy to try, just apply it once a day, and its less then 10$ for a bottle that will last quite a while

If your chafing your balls all the time you should consider changing your underwear. And i dont mean like change it once a day. I expect that from you. please. i mean the STYLE of underwear. there is 3 main styles of mens underwear that you'll find at Target and Walmart. Briefs, Boxers, and Boxer Briefs. see image below. Briefs are your classic tighty whities and they can chafe because of where the leg-hole seam is. Consider switching to boxers of boxer briefs. Boxers are your classic Hearts underwear you find when people get panted in movies. they are very loose so everything will be rattling around down there. lots of room to breathe but not great support. Boxer briefs are the middle ground. they provide the much of the same sack support that briefs do but move the leg hole (and leg hole seam) down the thigh. try out a different set for a few weeks and see if you notice a difference. i switched from briefs to boxer briefs and i have not looked back

speaking of your balls, dont fucking listen to manscaped. if you do want to try it out, dont fall for their marketing and go for a close clean shave. have you ever shaved your face clean and then a day later rubbed your chin to feel the stubble. that stuff is kinda scratchy and coarse aint it? a fun texture to stroke with your hand but you wouldnt want to do it all day? well....now imagine that same feeling but its your dick. You also get the added bonus of More Sweat! body hair is very good at wicking sweat away from the skin and with it all cut off, your putting a lot of faith in the wicking properties of your underwear. This is why Manscapes whole business pitch is about looks instead of how it feels to have a nice clean shave. the target audience for people who want to experience sandpapering their own dicks against their body is small and already cornered by the Home Depot

you can cover the automatic flush sensor on a public toilet with a piece of toilet paper so it doesnt flush on you when your sitting on it. remove the TP and throw it in to trigger a flush. no surprise splashes

I think the topic of robot sentience is quite interesting and while the ethics side is interesting, I do wonder if it would be more enjoyable to be a robot with sentience or a human. I supposed it all comes down to free will, a robot with sentience isn’t necessarily able to act freely and upon their desires, would that get frustrating and upsetting to have your own thoughts and opinions but not be able to act upon them? Equally a human has the free will to enact a lot of the things they wish to do but a lot of people struggle to find their purpose in life and that’s something that’s equally frustrating and upsetting to not know what you’re meant to do if you’re even meant to do anything at all. Robots get the advantage there, they’re built for a purpose and I know there’s so many sci-fi movies and books about robots who can’t figure out their own purpose in life but robots aren’t made accidentally, they’re all made with a clear intention. It doesn’t matter if the intention is simply to exist or to have sentience, that’s something that’s been decided for them and programmed into them. Humans don’t get that luxury and they have to live and die creating their own purpose. It’s strangely poetic and beautiful in a way to have the capacity to do anything and the freedom to chose what you do but for me it can feel suffocating. I feel an immense need to belong and to have a purpose so would the desire for belonging and purpose mean I would enjoy being a robot more or would the crushing inability to change my purpose and the lack of freedom to do as I wished be more soul crushing? Well there’s food for thought even if the food is lukewarm at best and seasoned too much.
