Do you think there’s a song that only Michael knows? Like a song so old that even with his perfect memory he can’t remember the entire melody or where exactly he heard it, but he hums it to himself all the time at his most loneliest. And it should bother him this hole in his memory but it doesn’t matter cause Michael’s so hurt and the song brings so much comfort.

Like Michael is the first thing God made that stuck, that wasn’t swallowed whole by his ever loving sister. And there was a moment, just a second, where it was just the two of them. When Michael wasn’t a brother and God was just a father, maybe God would hold him close and hum an unfinished song of creation to soothe him. The only sources of light in overwhelming darkness.

His first son, his greatest weapon.

Neither God or Michael remember this; Michael’s got siblings that need taking care of and It’s been a long time since God was a father.

But maybe in their umpteenth year in the cage, when they’ve huddled together after a particularly bad day, Michael starts humming a half remembered melody and when Adam asks him where it came from as goes the game they play, for the first time Michael confesses he doesn’t know.

And just maybe, on the other side of the plane, when Chuck’s writing a new chapter of his latest novel, deep in thought contemplating the relationships of fathers and sons; he starts humming a half remembered song in response and wonders where he heard it.

May I say that.... Angels can get.... Drunk.......

There are two scenes (That I remember) in Supernatural that show this

1st scene- Castiel saying he found a liquor store and drank it (He was clearly affected by the alcohol! So yes, he can get drunk, probably because he's in a human body... Oh, Don't tell me, genius.)

2nd scene- Castiel going to the portal to heaven in a... Sandbox... And the angel who was guarding the SANDBOX was drinking and incredibly also showing that he was affected by the drink!!

They may not be AS affected by alcohol as we humans are, but yes they do get drunk, but they need LARGE amounts to do so! :)

We often forget that Castiel and all angels canonically don't have genders, which means every angel is agender/genderfluid even THEREFORE every ships including them is inherently queer, no matter the vessel. Bravo LGBTs 🔥

I'm still stuck on the discussion of Castiel's handwriting from before, so now I'm going to throw in my two cents' worth.

Enochian is actually really hard to write. Or at least it is for me because I am artistically challenged. Especially if I'm using a ballpoint pen or a pencil instead of a brush pen or a fountain pen. The lines are all of different thicknesses and there are different serifs and flourishes that make each letter unique.

There's also, as I have recently discovered, a "script" version that is much easier to draw/write on the fly with a simple pen. The lines are relatively the same thickness and most of them are similar shapes to the original letters, but they can be written much more quickly and by someone with less skill.

My first thought was that Cas would surely use the "cursive" version like I do. It's faster, easier, and more efficient.

But then... I think Castiel is an artist at heart. I think he likes the poetry of the lines and the weight of the brush strokes. I think he'd enjoy writing "real" Enochian more than the quick-and-dirty version. Because Cas is smart, pays attention to details, and sees the beauty in small things. 💙

Supernatural angels make me so sad cause sometimes they're depicted as brothers and sisters in arms (siblings in arms?? Idk) but sometimes they're depicted as siblings.

Like when Lucifer kills Gabriel in the hotel episode (can't remember the name elysian fields??) he's very hurt and in later seasons the angels insist that they are siblings but they aren't?

So there are two possibilities, the angels were raised as siblings (highly unlikely) and all the fighting is basically familial bonds turned sour ot the angels were never raised as siblings, it's just something they were told to say (very likely but it hurts me in a bad way)

I think the saddest version of this would be that the angels were initially raised as siblings but after Chuck left they had to become more like an army so for a lot of the younger angels (compared to the archangels) only remember that sibling bond as an early memory so while they cling to it in times of desperation, it's not something that holds them back when it comes to their duty or whatever they feel like they have to do.

I love how when the angels in Supernatural became human, some of them really said “Nah, this is solid, I get it now”

always found it cool that all the creatures the didn’t have a technical soul (angels, demons, etc) went to the empty when they died, a place that canonically was the very concept of nothing. they really said “just like you, there is nothing in here. it is Empty”

Michael and Adam.

You get the themes the poem is right there. Michael was the first being ever made by an imperfect god. He in himself is practically a big bang how do you begin to explain that to someone? Let alone the one other person you’re stuck in a lifetime of isolation with?

shouldn't John Winchester have had four kids? there were four Archangels, Why were only two of them vessels?

there is Sam Dean Adam, Sam and Dean definitely for Lucifer and Michael and could Adam have been for Gabriel or Raphael? Adam was able to hold an archangel just fine so obviously any of John Winchester's bloodline can. So shouldn't have John had four kids one for Michael one for Lucifer one for Raphael and one for Gabriel.

I mean Sam and Dean only existed for Lucifer and Michael technically So why didn't John have other kids planned by the Angels and god that were for Gabriel and Raphael, or if he was supposed to have other kids to and mary died too soon?
