as much as i love the angel blades, i do mourn the missed opportunity of giving castiel a Large Fucking Sword

Hannah in Supernatural is so underrated.

It's not new for a female character to get pushed aside or hated on by the fandom and the writers themselves, but it really makes me sad.

All the Hannah content I see is either shitting on her or as a cuckold for Destiel. She's one of the only angels who actually started to feel things without becoming almost human. She started to experience empathy and possibly romantic feelings. I don't really believe she was in love with Castiel, I think her feelings were more complicated than what they tried to make it seem.

I think she had a large fondness for Castiel that she mistook for romance. She started to feel a deeper emotion for him that went beyond coworkers which I don't believe was romance, but I think it was something more than that. I do think she loved him but in a more platonic sense, though I think it was stronger than most romantic love.

And a side note, that people call it disgusting because angels are siblings, but didn't Castiel have sex with another angel WAYYY before Hannah came along? 😭 I think we've already crossed that bridge. I feel the archangels are more literal siblings. I always saw angels referring to each other as brother and sister the same way that people in church do. It's still weird to me but hating on just Hannah for it as if Castiel didn't do the same shit, if not, worse.

Anyway, she was a wonderful character and had much more opportunities but it seemed spn doesn't know how or like writing women so they put her in a male vessel, just to get rid of her anyway. Plus they just forgot that they were trying to give Castiel and Hannah a relationship once she was in a male vessel because gay is bad (/sarcasm)

Okay I feel like I have more to say but it's complicated and I have many feelings. moral of the story, I'm obsessed with Hannah, I love her, this is my petition to be elected Hannah's true and real wife ! I could treat her right ! Who agrees who agrees ? No one gets her like I do

Cas walked in, blew up every light bulb in the barn, didn’t blink at being stabbed or shot, knocked bobby out, then turned around and said “We need to talk, Dean… privately” with a little smirk and they’re surprised we liked him better?
