6 Months Till Summer: Your Ultimate 6 Month Glow Up Guide
As the new year unfolds, so does the countdown to summer. You might be thinking, what? This early? YES. Summer is about 6 months away at the time I’m writing this post. This is the perfect time to start thinking about what we want our summer to be like. The earlier you start, the easier it is to achieve all your summer dreams! So rather than feeling overwhelmed by last-minute transformations, let’s start working on our glow up together now.
In this post I will guide you through the next 6 months and what you can do to make sure you look and feel your best when summer arrives.
We are starting off super early. At the time I’m writing this post it is still January. For years I’ve always had goals for summer but I let life pass me by and when May came around I started to panic, thinking how can I look and feel my best when summer is already knocking at my door? This year let’s say goodbye to those feelings and make place for a more empowering approach.
Below is your ultimate guide for your best summer yet! <3 Each month you will be adding new habits to your daily routine. Make sure to keep doing the habits when the month ends. So all the habits you start doing 6 months before summer you will continue doing 5 months before, 4 months before, 3 months before and all the way up until summer! With each new month you will just keep adding more! It would be even more amazing if you could make them apart of your daily life forever.
Action steps:
Vision Boards: Create a few vision boards to visualize your summer goals. Make them inspiring and motivating. This way you have something to reference if you feel a little lost on your summer glow up journey.
Healthy eating: Start adding more healthy, nourishing foods into your meals. More dark leafy greens, vegetables, big nourishing breakfasts. Start seeing food as your fuel, if you don’t provide your body with the right kind and amount of foods, it won’t work in your favor! Healthy food is energy, glowing skin, health and happiness
Daily Walks: Begin taking daily walks to stay active and boost your mood! You can walk in the gym or at home on a treadmill but I would really really recommend for you to take your walks outside. The fresh air does wonders for your mental well being.
Reduce Greasy and Fried Foods: Cut back on ultra processed and unhealthy foods. Especially greasy and fried foods. Not only do these foods negatively impact your health, they also can cause hormonal and physical changes that can worsen your skin and complexion. We want that glowy summer skin! So cutting back on these foods early, will give you enough time to achieve that. Does this mean no more fries? Of course not. Just enjoy these foods in moderation!
Workout Routine: Find a workout routine that works for you and start incorporating it into your lifestyle. Personally I will be adding runs to my routine, Pilates and Yoga and some strength training. I like to have a variety of workouts so I don’t get bored so easily. By starting to build your routine now you can build confidence, resilience and the stamina to enjoy your summer.
Consistency: Start working on your consistency. Remember the promises you make to yourself and keep them. It’s time to let go of the “I’ll start tomorrow” mindset and start your habits today. Even if you think your whole day was a “bad day” you can still finish off strong by doing a evening yoga session for example. Think of the person you want to become and act like her.
Skin Care Routine: Start your summer skin care routine. I’m sure you already have a skin care routine you do daily. Start adding products into your routine that will give you that glowy summer skin! Think about Vitamin C, Niacinamide and hydrating ingredients. Also don’t forget to wear your sunscreen daily when going outside. It’s the ultimate secret to flawless, glowy skin.
Summer Aesthetic: What will your summer aesthetic be? Obviously you look amazing the way you are now. But to me, it’s so much fun to pick a type of aesthetic for summer and dress for the occasion. For example in summer I like to grow my hair out mermaid style and do fun mermaid type hairstyles.
Posture Routine / Stretches: Begin to add a stretch / posture routine to your schedule. Personally I like to do a little yoga each morning to wake up my body. You can do a special Yoga Posture routine to really get all the benefits. Improving your posture will work wonders on your confidence, trust me.
Wardrobe Refresh: Start building your wardrobe with key summer pieces! Maybe buy some new bikinis that make you feel confident. Hair accessories, new shoes, cute workout clothes. Everything that makes you feel amazing during summer and you can wear on your active summer days. Clean out your closet and look for your favorite summer clothes. This is the time to look at your visionboard and build on your summer aesthetic.
Get up Earlier: Now that the days are getting longer, let’s take advantage of the sun and get up earlier. This is a great habit to build for summer, it will make sure that you can enjoy the days and maybe even catch a sunrise. Make sure to start working on you sleep schedule. Early nights and early mornings are key. This will help you be more productive, energized and boost your mood and overall well-being.
Increase Workouts: By now you have been doing your new workout routine for 3 months already! Change some things up and level up on others. Maybe take a few longer runs, do a longer yoga workout, whatever feels good to you! It’s time to really put in the work and make yourself strong and confident. When doing this, make sure to also fuel your body accordingly! You don’t want to under eat and over train as this will hinder your progress and have you feeling dull and lifeless by the time summer comes around.
Fruits, Veggies and Salads: Now that spring is here let’s eat more fresh, cooling foods to keep your body cool and hydrated. Start adding even more veggies and fruits into your meals. Make big salads, fruit salads, protein smoothies and juices. All these antioxidants and vitamins will not only make you feel great but also look great too!
Body Hygiene: With summer just around the corner and spring in full motion, it’s time to take give our bodies a little extra love. When wearing a bikini we want to feel confident, fierce and beautiful. To make sure that happens we can give our bodies a little extra care. Think of getting a laser treatment for unwanted hair, body scrubs, lymph drainage, massages, a bikini wax, a little extra body lotion. Start doing all the things to get your body ready, glowing and looking amazing for summer.
Summer Prep: Start prepping for summer! Organize your wardrobe, add your favorite summer clothes and shoes. Prep your jewellery, bags and other accessories you want to wear. Get your bikinis ready, maybe buy some new ones.
Summer Body Routine: Personally in summer my body needs a little extra love. More sunscreen, more waxing (obviously lol) and I like to have a little more glow by using body lotions and scrubs. I recommend adding a weekly summer prep body routine so you always feel ready to take on the day. It’s the worst when we want to do spontaneous things and then we remember we haven’t shaved for a week. Nothing worse than a last minute shave (ouch). Also start to add cooling ingredients in your skin care routine like Aloe Vera and face masks. To keep our skin fresh and glowing.
Healthy Habits: Keep doing all the healthy habits you have done so far! Like your workout routines, daily walks, better posture etc.
I hope by the time summer comes around you are feeling the most confident you have ever felt in your life. Each time you finish a habit, feel those empowering feelings and use them to keep you motivated! All these tiny steps add up and will help you to have a massive transformation for summer.
Each month I will be going more in depth into what you can do until summer arrives with more examples and a few mini guides. For now, I hope this post has inspired you to take transform your life for the better and start working on yourself because you love yourself! <3
And remember, your summer glow up is all about making sure you have the best summer you have had so far! It’s NOT about being the skinniest or eating the healthiest foods or working out the most. It’s about you feeling amazing and comfortable in your body so you can go out and enjoy summer to the fullest!

Grooming Master List 💅🧖♀️
Long post ahead 🙌
Hair Care💇♀️
Find out your hair needs from a professional. Get your hair done and ASK QUESTIONS. Some questions are, “what my hairs porosity?” “Is my hair fine, medium, or coarse in texture?” “Does my hair lack protein?” Learn about your hair and then buy the appropriate products.
Leave in and then oil your ends. Leave in conditioner is so important. Your hair loses moisture through out the day and a leave in helps prevent that. Sealing the ends with oil prevents the newly added moisture from evaporating. This will help a lot with hair length retention. So basically your hair not breaking at the end or turning to dust (this literally happens.)
Heat-less curls! See below. These curlers are AMAZING! They give you a blow out look without the heat. I always use them now every time I shower. Basically you use them when your hair is damp, sleep on it, and take out in the morning.
Speaking of sleeping, silk bonnets. Covering your hair with a bonnet is so important even if you don’t have curls like I do. It reduces frizz and friction and keeps your hair from breaking and becoming dry. Hot girls never sleep without one!
Hair masks - once a week
Hair oiling. Use an oil that works with your hair type (fine, medium, coarse.) apply to scalp before you shower and wait 30 mins or longer if your hair can handle it. Make sure to massage 💆♀️
Clarify your scalp when needed
Hair powder. Buy or make a hair powder to use as a dry shampoo. They absorb oil and add thickness to the hair shaft. Win, win! Etsy is the place to shop.
You cannot train your hair. That’s not how the body works, sorry. If you need to wash your hair, wash it.
Skin Care🧴
See a dermatologist! If you are struggling with consistent acne or the aftermath or scars and inflammation. See a Dermatologist
Figure out what kind of acne scars you have. There’s P.I.E (Post inflammatory erythema) which is the red mark left over, P.I.H (Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) the brown spots left over, atrophic scars, boxcar scars, ice pick scars, or hypertrophic scars. Each scars nerds something different. I get P.I.E which likes retinol, niacinamide, and dermabrasion.
Wear Sunscreen EVERYDAY. I don’t care if it’s raining or you aren’t going anywhere, windows exist. Anything over 50 SPF doesn’t get stronger BUT it does last longer. You can also use your sunscreen as a moisturizer if you are not super dry.
Anti-aging. You should only be using anti-aging at 25 years old and up. 25 is when you start to age so doing it before is detrimental to skin health.
Double cleanse EVERYDAY even if you wore no makeup. Your sunscreen should be waterproof so it needs an oil to break it down. So wash your face with an oil cleanser than a water based cleanser.
Hand/Nail Care 🤚
Buy a good hand moisturizer not those fragrance ones. Cerave and la roche posay have good ones. Apply at night and then apply a cuticle oil then wear a moisturizer glove. They have ones with tech fingertips so you can still use your phone before bed.
Gel nails at home. Get the equipment to do your gels at home. It’s not expensive anymore and it’s super easy. You will have to watch a tutorial because it’s a very different process than regular nail polish. You NEED a base coat and top coat for it to work btw. Also please scrape your nails before applying. There’s an invisible layer of skin on your nails I promise you. I’ll talk more about this in foot care. I recommend doing nude colors because they look better as they grow out.
UV gloves. If you are doing Gel nails you need UV blocking gloves. They have kinds that leave the finger tips out so you can do your nails. You really don’t want to be blasting your hands with UV. It’s like a tanning bed for your hands. I also suggest driving UV blocking gloves. They have grippies for driving. When you drive your hands are blasted with the sun. The back of your hand are super delicate and prone to sun damage and aging. There’s also hand sunscreen which I recommend.
Foot care 👠
You NEED a pedicure kit. I recommend this
Watch the meticulous manicurist on YouTube she is a wealth of knowledge!
You want to get ride of the junk in your side walls and on top of your nail!
Use a glass foot file to get rid of dry skin and calluses. Speaking of calluses there are things you can buy that reduce them if you get them in the same spot every time. I get one under my big toes so there’s silicone cushions that wrap around my big toe and help with the extra pressure I’m putting on them. They have heel ones too!
Kerasol foot cream is the best foot cream it’s what dems suggest. You can buy moisturizer socks and put them in after applying and sleep on it or wrap your feet in Saran Wrap then a sock if you can’t spend the money.
Hair removal 🪒
Eye brows - it’s super cheap to just get them professionally threaded honestly. A professional can do a better job than you. Simply set a recurring day on your calendar. Go once or twice a month depending on your brows.
Do not shave your face at home! It’s a form of dermabrasion and if everything isn’t 100% sterile than you can get infected and lots of acne.
Kitty 🐱 I honestly prefer an electric shaver and using the razor only for the bikini line. Less irritation and it still looks neat.
Armpits - waxing or laser is the best but regular shaving is fine.
Legs - you can use hair conditioner as shaving cream!
Other tips on how to look good daily, wear jewelry everyday that fits your skin tone, learn your colors (summer, winters, fall, spring, and more. I’m a soft summer.) Learn your Kibbe type. I am a soft dramatic!
And of course eat healthy and exercise! 🏋️♀️🏃♀️

Every Morning
Summary: soap helps you with your skincare
Warnings: none just fluff :)
Pairing: John "soap" mactavish x gf!reader
Word Count-~1k
A/n: this is my first time writing for Soap Mactavish(actually any of the 141) so it may be pretty rough. This story was inspired by the lovely 🫧 anon on @uselsshuman blog! My requests are open for any of the 141 characters so please send in any requests you want! As always beware of typos but I hope you all enjoy!❣️
You were almost religious with your skincare. You took pride in taking care of your skin and it was something you loved doing in the morning. You loved the routine of layering your skin in different serums and creams and watching them work their magic. Whenever Johnny was home, he loved watching you from the bathroom doorway or sitting on the toilet seat. Because of his job you two didn’t get to share many domestic or intimate moments like this so Soap took what he could get. Soap always pestered you to let him do it for you and you always said no.
“Come on hen I could it!” Was something you always heard when he was home and you smiled but said no.
You were staring at yourself in the mirror getting ready to wash your face when Soap woke up; he had always been a heavy sleeper, something that was a blessing when he was a teenager but something that could get him killed in his line of work. Whenever he was home you did your best not to disturb him because you knew he didn't get much sleep when he was gone. Soap felt for your warm body and when he was met with cold sheets he took a look around to see the bathroom light on. The clock on his bedside table read “10:30”. He stretched and rolled out of bed to find you.
“Mornin’ Bonnie,” he said, walking over to your shared bathroom, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, his thick accent thicker with sleep. “Morning babe,” you smiled, grabbing your face wash and a towel. His eyes lit up whe he saw your face wash and bottles of serums lined up on the counter. You saw him eyeing your bottles and shook your head, a smile already forming on your face. “No Johnny no!” You said, knowing exactly what he was going to ask. “Oh please Bonnie!” He whined, wrapping his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder.
You only wore a tank top so his stubble scratched your bare shoulder. “Johnny you don’t even know how to do it!” You laughed, making eye contact through the mirror. “Yes I do, I watch you all the time,” He replied, kissing and sucking on the sweet spot on your neck trying to get you to fold. “Johnny no st-” you started before he reached down to squeeze your ass. “Okay alright,” You laughed. “You won’t regret this bonnie,” he said, planting a kiss on your cheek with a smile too big for his face. “I think I already am, You mumbled.
“Okay first thing is washing your face hen everyone knows that,” He said, turning on the hot water. “Of course,” You said, watching him reach in front of you to turn on the hot water. Soap squirted some face wash and his hands and worked it into a lather before rubbing it onto your face. You winced at how rough he rubbed the soap into your skin but didn’t say anything. You also didn’t say anything when he got soap in your eye and tried your best not to wince at the sting. “Okay time to rinse,” he said and you leaned forward rinsing off the soap, the stinging sensation finally going away.
He grabbed a towel and rubbed your face dry before picking up you up by the waist and setting you on the counter. He stepped in between your legs and you had to widen your legs to accommodate him. “Okay first bottle we’re gonna do is this nia…niacin..” He said, struggling to pronounce the name written on the label. “Niacinamide?” You offered, trying not to chuckle. “Yeah that’s it,” He smiled and you wanted to tell him he wasn’t supposed to use it yet but you kept quiet. “What’s this for?” He asked. “It does a lot of things but it mainly helps with pores and textural irregularities,” You told him.
Johnny nodded and used the pipette to drop the serum onto your face and you were surprised that he was gentle in his kneading compared to the face wash. “Does that feel nice hen?” He asked and you smiled. “Of course it does love,” You said. “Okay now for the hylronic acid,” He said, and you couldn’t help but laugh at how he pronounced the name. “This one is to help bring moisture back into my skin,” You told him, knowing he was going to ask.
“I can’t believe you do this every morning bonnie,” he said, emphasizing the “every morning” in disbelief. “So many steps,” said Soap, screwing the tiny lid back onto the bottle. You hadn’t realize how small his hands made the bottles seem. “Every morning,” you emapsized. “I do it at night too,” you smiled and he shook his head. “Caffeine and de puffing,” he looked at the tiny bottle in his hand. “You put it on my undereyes. It helps to de-puff and energize them,” You instructed him. Johnny put some of the thick liquid on your undereye. He started massaging it into your skin when some of the serum got into your eye and you recoiled.
“Oh shite sorry y/n” he said, a worried look taking over his face. “Don’t worry about it hun I’m okay,” you said, trying not to tear up from the pain. “What’s next?” You said, genuinely wondering since he did the routine out of order. “This is the only one left. Plant-based squaline,” he said, again reading the label. “This one does a lot of things too; enhanced barrier support, moisturizing, all kinds of stuff,” You said, watching him unscrew the lid and drop the oily liquid onto your skin. “You really need all of this stuff?” He asked, curious. “I don’t need it but it does help,” You said.
He did take care to massage your skin more carefully to avoid your eyes. “Last is this right?” He said, holding up your lotion. “That’s right,” You said, watching him pour some lotion onto his hand and rub it together before spreading it on your skin. You focused on the feeling of Johnny’s fingers massaging the lotion into your skin and listening to his soft humming as he focused on his work. You enjoyed the simply intimate moment between the two of you, not knowing when you’d get the chance again to enjoy it. “Does it really feel that good?” He asked and you opened your eyes to find him smirking. “It did feel really good,” you whispered, planting a kiss on his lips.
“So how’d I do bonnie?” He asked, looking a little too pleased with himself and you couldn’t bring yourself to tell him he did it completely out of order and hurt your eye not once but twice. “You did great Johnny,” you said smiling at him. “Really think so?” He said, helping you down from the counter. “Well….. Maybe it’s best to leave the skincare to me. You did the wrong steps and hurt my eye. Twice,” You said, with a small smile. “Okay no need to be cheeky hen I’ll leave you to your thing,” He laughed. You stood on your toe to give him a kiss. “I wouldn’t mind you watching me though,” You said. Soap slipped his arms around your waist and returned your kiss. “I wouldn’t mind doing that,”

steven grant has been your best friend ever since you wandered into the gift shop section of the museum, wanting to buy a taweret plushie that you've been eyeing since seeing them when you passed by the area during a tour.
he was just a gift shop-ist at that time, nothing really special but when you had asked for a recommendation of what knick knack was the most historically accurate you could buy, he went on a tangent about egyptian mythology. it landed him a scolding from his boss but a laugh from you. maybe it was because he was just so pretty or that he fascinated you with his knowledge that you gave him your number.
ever since that day, you two hit it off really well. one text led to two and then a call, one too many which turned into you visiting him more at the museum whenever you're not too busy to go out on weekends. not too long after that, you invited him to your place and the rest have been history. it all happened in the span of four months.
you and steven made it a ritual to have a regular sleepover at yours on the last friday of the month (even if steven was working overtime doing inventory and the commute to your place added 30 more minutes before he reached you). but why would he go through all that trouble?
well, it's simple. the first time steven slept over, he became witness to your entire nighttime skincare routine. he was fascinated by all the products you used from face masks to serums to creams, anything you applied to your face he was paying absolute attention to the process of it all.
he loved how every single one of your products would have a benefit to your skin's health so much that he asked if you could do it to him too. now steven's actually very meticulous with his looks, all the boys are really, but steven liked to nitpick at his reflection (marc grumbles incessantly about it though neither of you knew that).
he wears chapstick because his lips get dry easily and since he does have that 5 o'clock shadow, he has a well thought out aftershave products. but skincare all in all? he thinks soap and water is enough.
every product you'd lather on his face, he'd ask what it does and you'd ramble about how retinol serums do help with wrinkles but it shouldn't be applied daily if he doesn't want to burn his face. he thought chapsticks were enough to keep his lips moisturized but when you pulled out a lip mask and a scrub, boy he was a goner.
the next time you guys hung out outside, steven dragged you to the mall and had you help him buy his own set of skincare products.
it made you giggle before directing him to a pretty popular clinic in the mall first so you two know what products to use with professional help rather than guessing what to buy and end up ruining his pretty sun-kissed skin.
[the following information is not accurate, i'm only saying what i remembered from when i was a heavy skincare girlie, i've turned to a much simpler routine now]
okay so, according to (me) the doctor, he's got a little bit of dryness on his cheeks and some oiliness on his t-zone, poor baby's got wrinkles from the stress he gets from donna and the heavy purpling bags under his eyes.
she recommended him quite a lot of products which included 2 cleansers, 2 moisturizers, 3 serums, a cream and an spf all with a variation of AHA, AAA, BHA, retinol, niacinamide and more. he bought them all.
steven absolutely splurged that day, not only did he buy everything the dermatologist recommended, he also went and bought stuff he saw you use from memory, the face masks, lip masks and scrubs, everything. hell he even had you buy your own recommendation of good shower products because "you always smell so nice and i know you're not really a perfume person".
that night, steven had you demonstrate each process step by step or can also be read as steven asking you to apply them on him like at a spa or clinic. he fell asleep with a sheet mask on.
when he woke up the next morning, you told him that you actually completed his routine while he was sleeping, much to his embarrassment, to which you replied with, "it's no problem at all, i got to take care of your pretty face and you were sound asleep, couldn't bear the thought of waking you up when you clearly needed that."
now every time he comes over every last friday of the month, you two would have your me-days. you two don't hold back on any of your products even if it rips a new hole in your wallets every time you two shop to restock.
lounging on your couch in a comfy pair of steven's shirt he forgot at yours some time ago and some sleep shorts, hair held back by a fluffy headband with a face mask on you, you surf through channels to find some trashy movie to watch with steven.
said man was in his own pj's, lip mask over his lips with the front of his curls tied up as he lay his head on your lap. he was reading his egyptian mythology book, reading glasses perched on his nose as he highlights bits of information he considers important.
your hand unconsciously runs through the curls that aren't tied up as you find a channel that's showing a rerun episode from the office and you settle for that. steven would occasionally hum and turn his head to watch, laughing at the jokes they'd make before returning his focus to his book. it's all so comfortable and perfect and somehow really late in the night.
steven notices your hand stopped combing through his hair and was about to ask why but only to see you sound asleep, mid-face mask. kind of like he was when you gave him his first spa treatment.
so he tucks his book away and takes off his lip mask. then continues to take off yours. he brings over your items carefully and starts to finish off your routine for you, making sure his hands don't rub too hard to wake you up. in an odd sense, it's like steven was trying to say thank you.
for the first time you showed him the way to care for himself more than just food and shower, for letting him learn alongside you how to feel better about himself as he applies skincare products on his face and so many more reasons pertaining to your friendship.
he finally finishes yours with great care and he makes quick work of his own, throwing away the masks before shutting the tv off, carrying you with surprising ease back to your bed and tucking you in.
he sneaks in beside you afterwards, holding you close to his body as he mumbles his goodnight. steven never had to worry about his sleeping disorder when with you, never needing an ankle restraint when you were always there to keep him grounded.

here’s what i tested this month - march 2024
if you wouldn’t like to see posts like this, block the tag “🤍 lifestyle tag” 🖤
🕯 little disclaimer: these are all my own opinions; nothing incentivized or gifted; all bought on my own; products will always work differently for different people, so these may work differently for you
BYOMA Cleansing Oil ($12.99)
5/5 - I picked this up from my local target - I have been really enjoying this cleanser. When I have on makeup, I use this then the Milky Jelly Cleanser, but a lot of days I use this as my only cleanser. It’s really gentle on the skin and cleanses it without overly stripping it. This is probably one of the best oil cleansers I’ve ever tried. And it’s at Target. I use two pumps for my face. It removes eye makeup very gently and thoroughly without tugging on the skin or lashes. I was able to remove glitter with this too. I’ve personally used olive oil before when my mascara just wouldn’t come off and this cleanser works better than that. For reference.
PACIFICA Vegan Collagen Recovery Night Cream ($26.00)
2/5 - I bought this at target for $22.00 USD and since then there has been a price increase. I really wanted to like this night cream. Now, this is a collagen night cream, which contrary to popular clickbait skincare, does not increase collagen production. It contains collagen, which does not penetrate the deep layers of the skin (where your own collagen is produced), but what it does do is condition the skin a lot. Topical collagen is very good for that. That’s what I bought this with intentions of, since I tend to have normal to dry skin with topical dehydration, plus skin sensitivity. Now, this cream made my skin flush and it really didn’t moisturize as much as I expected it to as a night cream. This has some fragrance in it and I think that’s the ingredient that my skin did not like. It was not a good sensation. Way too expensive for what it is.
Saltair Serum Body Wash ($12.00)
5/5 - I got this at my local target, in scents “Exotic Pulp” and “Lush Greens”. I love both of the scents. As previously mentioned, I have sensitive skin. All my skin is sensitive. I’ve been really struggling to find a good body wash that isn’t very expensive and works for my skin. It’s probably been 4 years of looking for something that worked. This works. This body wash is very gentle without leaving the skin feeling “grubby” or oily. I can use this on my chest, where I have issues with body ache and breakouts, and I believe the niacinamide in this formula actually helped with that. “Exotic Pulp” is a tropical, citrus scent, like mangos, passionfruit, and oranges .”Lush Greens” is a very green smell, like a kale drink, but with a little bit of fruit, very fresh. I love both of these. A lot. I haven’t had dry patches, irritated areas, or hives, which I have had before from other body washes. And it’s $12.
Necessaire Body Wash ($25)
4/5 - I ordered this directly from Necessiare’s website. This is a really good body wash. I don’t really like the “Eucalyptus” scent, but it does smell like diluted eucalyptus, so it does smell like that. This doesn’t irritate my skin, I’m just not a massive smell of the scents. They do have an unscented version available. My biggest issue with it is the price. I don’t want to pay $25 for a body wash. It’s really good though. I just wish it was a little cheaper for how much you get. My favorite scent is “Bergamot” in this line, which is very bergamot and almost mossy. It’s good.
Necessaire Body Lotion ($28)
4/5 - I ordered this directly from Necessaire’s website. This is one of the only body lotions I’ve used that works for my skin. No breakouts, no greasy film, my skin actually absorbs it, and no irritation. My skin does not like coconut oil and this product has none. This one has no fragrance added so that’s not a factor I need to worry about. I hate the price. I don’t wanna pay $28 for something I go through rather quickly. But this lotion saved me this winter. So. I’ll probably still buy it but begrudgingly.
Frenshe Body Wash ($10.99)
3/5 - I got this at my local target. This is a pretty good body wash. I’m personally not crazy about any of the scents, but they are certainly not bad at all. My biggest qualm about this is that it dried out my skin a bit. It left it feeling tight. However, if you can tolerate body wash better than me, you’ll probably like it. I think the scents are generally very gender-neutral.
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner ($13.00)
4/5 - I got this at my local Target since it has an Ulta Beauty inside. I did not buy this for my face initially, I have some areas on my body where I like to exfoliate and my skin reacts to AHA’s very well. This works great on my body, I’ve had no irritation and I‘ve seen improvement in texture/breakouts. I did try this on my face and I did not like it. It has an oily consistency and it just sat on my face really weird. It didn’t really sink into my face well at all. So I really only use this on my body now and honestly, it’s fine because that’s why I bought it in the first place.

Kavetham headcanons
Not gonna go into detail but based on Alhaitham's idle animation, the way the keys are tangled shows that they most likely use a key dish (like wtf that's highly domestic)
A lot of people think Alhaitham specifically made a new key in gold for Kaveh but I'd like to think Kaveh took Alhaitham's key and asked someone to make another one in gold
Continuing the point above Alhaitham was highly pissed as he thought he lost his key and he was going to make Kaveh one anyway before it got stolen by non other than Kaveh himself
Kaveh is a top and Alhaitham is a bottom (I will not elaborate further)
Kaveh definitely just hiding pain with a smile (huh know someone who does that *coughs*)
Related to the point above he feels useless so sometimes when he's doing nothing he just thinks about what Alhaitham says when they bicker even though he tells himself Alhaitham doesn't mean it
Alhaitham is emotionally constipated so he doesn't realize his feelings until he talks to someone (maybe cyno) about how he is annoyed with the way Kaveh makes him feel which he tries to brush off as annoyance but then the person is like uuhhh dude, I think you're in love
Alhaitham denies his feelings for months
Even after reading books to research about love that tell him YOU ARE IN L O V E
Kaveh knew about his feelings early on and became more annoying to hide it
Kaveh has one condition to scold Alhaitham which is when the man is over working himself
Kaveh is stronger than Alhaitham (I mean my man is an architect and uses a claymore, still looks so dainty though)
Kaveh has multiple products for showering with exfoliator, soap, shampoo, conditioner, those hair vitamins while Alhaitham just wants to get it over quickly with shampoo and soap
Kaveh introduces him to all the different products and now Alhaitham shares soap and shampoo with Kaveh (totally to "just save money") but doesn't use the rest of the products
Same goes for skin care with Kaveh having toner, cleanser, lotion, sun screen, hydrator, hyloronic acid, niacinamide, face masks, salicylic acid and what not (like this is extensive skincare people)
Alhaitham buys a basic cleanser after Kaveh pesters him to, going on and on about the benefits of skincare (he's doesn't want to share his)
We also all agree that Alhaitham pays for all of the aforementioned products above (he's an unintentional sugar daddy)
Kaveh uses makeup (mainly eyeliner and lip gloss, just the basics) to be extra ✨✨✨✨
Alhaitham does to since he thinks it makes him more presentable (still won't do skincare though since he thinks most of the products are marketing bs)
I mean he's not wrong but-
Sometimes Alhaitham helps do Kaveh's hair
Alhaitham's love language is acts of service
Kaveh's love language is words of affirmation
They make it work
When they first start dating Alhaitham doesn't say I love you a lot and yk Kaveh is just "is he having doubts" "he doesn't feel the same way" or smth like that since he just freezes as well when Kaveh say I live you since my guy is flustered but after some drunk situations, they communicate
Drunk Kaveh is really soft, emotional and sappy
They share bottles of red wine
Alhaitham is deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other
Kaveh learnt sign language just to continue to talk to him or as it really is bicker with him after he turns of his hearing aid headphones (jokes on you Kaveh, he can close his eyes)
Alhaitham gave Kaveh a sumeru rose and Kaveh gave him a padisarah (let your imagination give you context to that)
Kaveh makes a huge mess with his sketches all over the place but organizes it after his creative rush
Alhaitham is the same but stays in his organized mess and it pisses Kaveh off
They both work themselves to sleep
They care for each other but forget to do for themselves (more Alhaitham)
We know what that high collar is for Alhaitham (it's to hide something called a hic-)
Kaveh has calloused fingers
Alhaitham has scuffed palms
They fit each other nicely
Alhaitham is flustered by physical touch at first but grows used to it
Rubbing comforting circles into each other's shoulder blades
Rubbing thumbs over the back of each other's hand
They both pulled each other by being autistic
Kaveh is stronger than Alhaitham but he doesn't have the muscle shown because
1. Long sleeves
2. Muscles do not equal strength
And 3. It's like tubbo who's very strong but doesn't look like it

How To Have The Smoothest Makeup Base
Are you a beginner at makeup? Are the different brands and products stressing you out? Don't worry, I totally get it. That's why I'm here to help you!
First, let me explain what a "makeup base" is. The base makeup is the layer that comes first to cover skin imperfections and leave a smooth surface for other products. Your makeup base can include but is not limited to foundation, concealer, liquid blush, and setting powder. After finishing your base makeup, you can start on other things like your eye makeup.
When starting your face makeup, you should always ensure your face is properly prepped. To prep my face, I always start by cleansing it. Makeup looks best on a clean face. Then, I do my skincare.
Here is a list of everything I use:
Toner
Niacinamide Serum
Moisturizer
Sunscreen (SPF)
It is super important to wear SPF on your face during the day as well as under your makeup. According to Kim, Min Ah, "Layering sunscreen with makeup may compensate for insufficient sunscreen application in real‐life conditions by providing an additional source of UV protection and improving the homogeneity of coverage" (126). Sunscreen should be essential to your skin prep routine before you start your makeup.
Once your face is prepped, it's time to prime. "Primer—which goes on after your moisturizer and before foundation—it's worth the extra step for a perfect makeup application" (Fields, 126).
Primer is a makeup product that aids in helping your makeup stay on your face all day. Things like weather, skin type, and more can play a factor in whether your makeup stays fresh all day, but primer helps with that no matter the factor.
Primer can be either water-based or silicone-based. Whichever you choose to use is based on your skin type and foundation type. Water-based primer works for most skin types from sensitive to oily skin. Meanwhile, silicone-based primer is best for oily skin only. That doesn't mean other skin types can't use silicone-based primers though.
Primer should be applied on all areas of your face where makeup will go.
You can start applying your makeup after your face is prepped and primed!
Personally, I don't wear foundation for my base makeup, I use concealer only, but the same rules apply for both concealer and foundation.
Like primer, concealer and foundation can be either water-based or silicone-based. Water-based works for pretty much every skin type whilst silicone-based works best for oily skin. Keeping this in mind, the bases of your primer and foundation/ concealer should match. Silicone-based primer with silicone-based foundation or concealer, and water-based primer with water-based foundation or concealer.
The exception to this rule is: water-based primer and silicone-based foundation or concealer can work well together but not vice versa.
I have oily skin, but I use a water-based primer. I have found that water-based concealers and foundations don't mix well with my skin, so I use silicone-based concealer, and the primer and concealer mix well without any issues.
So to start, I apply a concealer that is about the same color as my skin all over my face (forehead, cheeks, nose, chin). The same can be done for foundation as well. After, I blend all the concealer (or foundation) out with a foundation brush. Once that's done, I apply a lighter color concealer on areas I want to be brighter (under eyes, eyelids, between my eyebrows, next to my nostrils, and chin). Then, I blend that concealer out with a beauty sponge. Next, I do liquid blush but not everyone does it, it's based on preference. I feel that applying liquid blush before applying powder makes your blush stand out more. If you do want to apply liquid blush, I apply mine on the apples on my cheeks and blend it out with a brush.
For your liquid products, I recommend the brand Elf. It is a very affordable makeup line and all the liquid products I use (concealer and blush) are from Elf.
Now, we can move on to powder. Setting powder is what locks in your liquid products and keeps them in place. There are two types of setting powder: pressed powder and loose powder. The names are kind of self-explanatory but here is what they look like.
They are basically the same, but the difference between them is in their name. Pressed powder is packed tightly into a container while loose powder is not.
I use both pressed powder as well as loose powder when I do my makeup because I have found that by using two different powders, my face is less likely to get oily throughout the day. For dry skin, I recommend only using one powder, because too much powder on that skin type can dry out the skin. For normal skin, you can do whatever feels best. I apply my pressed powder with a medium-sized makeup brush all over my face. Then I go in with loose powder all over my face and I apply that with a powder puff.
Here are some powder recommendations!
Loose:
Kimchi Chic Puff Puff Pass Set & Bake Powder
Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder
One/Size Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder
Pressed:
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish
Maybelline Fit Me! Pressed Powder
NYX Professional Makeup Pressed Powder
Now that you're all done with powder, you are just one step away from a perfect makeup base! All you need is a setting spray. Setting spray is the final step to locking in your base makeup so it lasts all day. To apply it properly, hold the spray a couple of inches away from your face and spray everywhere.
Here are some setting spray recommendations!
Elf Stay All Night Blue Light Micro-Setting Mist
Milani Make It Last Matte Finish Charcoal Setting Spray
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray
One/Size On 'Til Dawn Setting Spray
Look at you! Your base looks absolutely flawless. I hope this blog was of great help to you.

Skincare and Magic:
I'm finally doing another one of these posts, this time I'm focusing on skincare. Disclaimer that I am not a dermatologist or an expert in skincare at all, I just enjoy it as a part of my everyday ritual magic. Skincare is a very personal thing because your skin is unique to you, I'm not recommending products this is more around the concept of using skincare for magic. With that being said, on with the post:
Cleansers:
Wash off Cleansers can be amazing as a way to wash away negativity, give yourself a fresh start and really make yourself feel new.
- you can draw sigils or runes on your skin as you cleanse, washing away negativity.
- Cleansing balms and oils, anything you don't wash off with water, are much better at not only gently cleansing your skin but also a much more calming energy than something like a water based foam or gel cleanser.
Serums:
Next, if you're doing your normal routine, comes serums. These sink into your skin and have all kinds of different properties. (I personally use a niacinamide and zinc serum to reduce acne and redness).
- look into what each serum does, as this will really determine how it's used. For example, niacinamide is a chemical exfoliant, so i use it to banish negativity and give myself a refresh. Something like hyaluronic acid, however, is better at caring for your skin and adding in some positivity, and less about exfoliation.
- I'm not a big fan of anti-aging products, because we all age and I don't think it's something to be afraid of. But if you use something like retinol it can be useful for renewal spells and suchlike.
Moisturisers:
Moisturisers are a great way to be kind to yourself, not only physically but spiritually. Take a moment to gently apply it, really feeling your skin and appreciating it and yourself. I use moisturisers primarily as a form of quiet mindfulness.
- you can also draw sigils on your face and body with moisturisers to add to any spell or ritual you are currently working on. I combine mine with a magical oil (and my emollient cream because I have psoriasis) to add protection after a shower.
Sun cream:
Even if you're not big into skin care, this is an easy one to do. Sum cream literally protects you from damaging UV rays, and so it isn't much of a stretch to link it to protection spells. Since you apply this last, it acts as a barrier between you and negativity, anything harmful you might encounter. Draw a banishing sigil with it to enhance this, or embrace the sun angle and use it as a vehicle to absorb the positive energies of the sun without damaging your skin.
Face masks:
There are so many different types of face masks, but I will list a few examples here
- Clay masks (unsurprisingly) help strengthen your connection to the earth and grounding energies.
- Charcoal masks are great for protection, its basically black salt but for your face.
- Peeling masks come in so many different forms it's impossible to say what they all might do, but the general idea is all about renewal. Shedding that layer of dead skin literally and metaphorically.
Don't use face masks too often as most of them have ingredients that will be harsh on your skin if used too regularly. Once a week or every two weeks is best. They are a great addition to a moon ritual or bath (though some masks won't dry while you're in the bath due to the humidity).
#i could have gone more into the herbal aspects but most herbal remedies for the skin are not dermatologist approved#so i decided to stick to products#the warlock speaks#witchblr#witchcraft#self care magic#self care

Hello! If you do have any recommendations for skincare I would like them, acne is annoying lmao
OH BOY YES I DO!
okay so all skin has different sensitivities and needs and all that so what works for me might not work for you. there's a lot of different avenues you can go down for acne treatment but I'll try to go through things I know work for most people
this is gonna be long so putting it under a read more
first off, you gotta be washing your face twice a day if you don't already. I use cetaphil daily face wash which you can find in most drugstores, but another drugstore brand I've heard is very good is cervave! both brands have several different kinds of face wash, some that are more specific for acne, some that are hydrating if you have issues with dry skin, and some that are made for sensitive skin if you deal with irritation. I'd go through the different products they have and see what looks like it'd work best for you
most acne-specific face products use salicylic acid since that's a chemical proven to reduce oil and all that, but if you've used salicylic acid stuff and don't notice any improvement, you might want to try benzoyl peroxide acne products! panoxyl is another drugstore brand that carries acne face and body washes with benzoyl peroxide, and I use that for my chest and back acne (jury is still out as to if its actually helping or not. I'm still trying to figure out if salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide works better. do your research on both to see which one will work better for you!)
now if you want to add more than just face wash there is a whole variety of serums out there! my god tier, number one serum that I don't know how I lived without until now is niacinamide. niacinamide has been proven through research trials to be effective in reducing the amount of sebum (oil produced from your pores) your skin produces, and also reduces redness in skin. there are a lot of serums you can get that's a mix of stuff with niacinamide in it, but if you want a serum that's just straight up niacinamide (which I would recommend if you want to test out if it actually benefits you) both good molecules and the ordinary sell bottles of it for $6. the ordinary's serum is 10% niacinamide with 1% zinc, with the zinc there because I guess it's hydrating? good molecules is just 10% niacinamide without any zinc. there really isn't much of a difference between the two products, but for some reason good molecules serum worked way better for my skin than the ordinary's did, although I've known plenty of people who use the ordinary's version and love it.
(note: while both bottles say you can apply these niacinamide serums twice a day, in clinical trials it was shown that 5% niacinamide is what's effective on skin and they have no evidence higher concentrations does anything. so since these are both 10% niacinamide, you might want to just apply it once a day to reduce any risk of irritation)
if you have oily skin you might be hesitant about using moisturizer, but you have to use it bc if you try to dry your skin out your skin will just produce excess oil in response. what you want to look for in a face moisturizer is anything that's oil-free and non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog your pores. ideally, get a moisturizer that has spf in it as well (at least spf 30), that way you don't have to add an extra step to apply sunscreen on your face every day. right now I use cetaphil's daily face moisturizer with spf 35, but before that when I was a teen I used cetaphil's dermacontrol oil absorbing moisturizer with spf 30. the difference is that the dermacontrol is a bit more expensive, but it works to reduce the oil on your face so it's for people who really struggle with oily acne-prone skin. both products are oil-free and non-comedogenic so neither one will clog your pores. which one you use just depends on how oily your skin is
as far as taking care of individual pimples, while I've tried spot treatments with salicylic acid from the ordinary and good molecules, I don't really notice them doing much for me. what DOES make a difference is hydrocolloid pimple patches which dry out the skin and can really help reduce pimples. I like panoxyl's pimple patches, and you can get a pack of 40 for $8-$10
these are just the essentials for me! if you want any more 'special' products like masks or exfoiliants or oils lmk and I'll make a post about those but this is already long enough lol. I linked the products to their brand websites but you can find most of these either in drugstores, on amazon, or in stores like ulta or sephora
hope this helps!

Well now I gotta ask. what DO you use for your skin
ok so i am about to become insane. here is my Current routine after. too long of wading through skinfluencer bullshit. all drugstore brands because one who has the money and two no one needs the expensive shit. and no retinol im fucking 18
i have combination, acne prone skin and excoriation disorder and my goals are to get my dryness and acne under control so im not always walking around with blood under my fingernails etc etc. overall the active ingredients that have been the most helpful are salicylic and hyaluronic acid. the actual info is under the cut because theres Too much
i use the cerave hydrating foaming oil cleanser (water based for classification reasons, it just has oil in it) in the morning. i used to use the cerave normal foaming cleanser but i switched pretty quick because it doesnt dry me out as much
at night i use the neutrogena hydro boost exfoliating cleanser. pretty solid, nothing to complain about and i like the smell but i likely won't repurchase now that i have non-physical exfoliants in my routine because physical ones can lead to irritation
the clearasil stubborn acne control 5 in 1 pads with salicylic acid have been crazy helpful for generally keeping my acne under control. i still have tiny blackheads but thats not something i really give a shit about so no complaints here really
the elf pure skin toner, my newest addition a few days ago, has really exceeded my expectations like i mentioned in the og post. it's marketed as a soothing, hydrating toner but it does have glycolic acid which isnt mentioned which means some people dont end up liking it. i read reviews before buying shit though so im having an awesome time with it, i had two Awful pimples and various active breakouts before starting using it and currently a whole third of my face has No active breakouts which is Insane for me
the new cerave moisturizing gel has been really nice, does its job and the niacinamide has done good work on reducing the appearance of my pores in the relatively short time ive been using it
i use the cetaphil moisturizing cream for dry skin on my cheeks bc theyre dry And in spots over any places ive picked at badly to give it the best chance it can get at healing
ok thats it. hope anyone who stayed this long enjoyed. if anyone ever wants advice dm meeeee im obv not a pro but i have a hyperfixation and nothing but free time

Go From Wrinkled to Youthful Skin With The Best Anti-Aging Skin Care Routine
There is no escape from aging. Even your favourite celebs, who have access to the best anti-aging regimen and procedures in the world, eventually show their age! And, while there is no way to completely stop the process, there are certainly ways to slow it down and maintain a youthful appearance for as long as possible.
Yes, wrinkles form and skin become dryer, but it doesn’t have to be the end of the world. With a solid skincare routine in place, you can defy Father Time and keep your skin radiant AF. So, if you're looking for the best anti-aging skin care routine, keep reading!
What Causes Aging?
As we get older, our skin begins to display signals of wear and tear. Wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots can make us look older than we really are. But why does that happen?
There are many external factors that can cause premature aging, including sun damage, smoking, pollution, and an unhealthy diet. But the main cause of aging skin is actually an internal one: the natural process of cell turnover.
Every day, our skin cells go through a cycle of growth and repair. As we get older, this process starts to slow down, and our skin cells don't regenerate as quickly. Moreover, our skin also lowers collagen and elastin production, and the fatty tissues below our skin decrease in size and volume. All this leads to the loss of our ability to retain moisture and the formation of those nasty visible signs of aging.
Best Skincare for Aging Skin: Your New Secret Weapon
When it comes to skincare, there are a lot of products and routines that promise to keep your skin looking young and glowing. But with all of the different options available, how do you know which ones are really effective?
Here are our secret anti-aging routines that will work wonders for you. So grab a pen and get ready to smooth those wrinkles!
A.M. Anti-Aging Skincare Routine
So, you wake up, look in the mirror, see those wrinkles and fine lines looking back at you, and you want to do something about it, right? This is how your A.M. anti-aging routine should look like:
1. Water-Based Cleanser
A water-based cleanser is crucial for anyone over the age of 30. This type of gentle cleanser will help to remove any dirt, oil, or sweat that has built up on your skin overnight. It helps to prep your skin for the rest of your anti-aging routine by getting rid of dead skin cells. Using these anti-aging products helps to remove impurities and keep your face moisturized, which is important because dehydration can lead to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
2. Toner
A toner helps to restore the skin's pH balance, which is essential for keeping the skin healthy and preventing wrinkles. It also helps to remove any remaining dirt that may be clogging pores, preparing your complexion for the next step.
3. Antioxidant Serum
Antioxidant serums, like l-ascorbic acid (aka vitamin C), moisturize and help protect the skin from environmental stressors by neutralizing free radicals before they can cause damage. Additionally, these anti-aging ingredients can help brighten the skin and give it a more youthful appearance.
4. Spot Treatment
Whether it's a wrinkle cream, eye cream, or salicylic acid to treat acne, apply your chosen spot treatment to address specific skin concerns.
5. Moisturizer
Moisturizers help to keep the skin hydrated and plump, which can reduce wrinkles and the appearance of aging skin. Using a moisturizer with SPF during the day can provide sun protection. Opt for creams or gels with powerful ingredients like niacinamide, vitamin C, or hyaluronic acid.
6. Facial Oil (Optional)
Including a facial oil can be beneficial, especially if you have dry skin. Jojoba oil is very similar to our own natural sebum, making it easily absorbed. It's also packed with antioxidants and vitamins that help protect the skin from damage.
7. Sunscreen
No matter your skin type, finish your morning skin care routine by applying a pea-sized amount of sunscreen on your face. Important: you can skip this step if your moisturizer has SPF.
P.M. Anti-Aging Skincare Routine
The night has come, and it is time to start layering your beauty products on your face. But what’s the correct order? Let us enlighten you:
1. Makeup Remover
Whether you choose micellar water or wipes, makeup remover is a must! Just always remember to do it gently without tearing your skin too much.
2. Double Cleansing
Double cleansing means using an oil-based cleanser first to break down makeup, sunscreen, and dirt, followed by a water-based cleanser to remove any lingering impurities. This ensures your skin is truly clean, which is key to preventing premature aging.
3. Exfoliating (Not Always)
You can choose physical exfoliants, like sugar scrubs, or chemical exfoliants with active ingredients like lactic acid or glycolic acid. Important: only perform this step once or twice a week, as over-exfoliating can cause irritation and dry out your skin.
4. Toner
You can use the same toner as your morning routine! Just soak a cotton pad in it and tap it gently on your skin.
5. Retinol
Retinol should only be used at night because it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It helps to increase collagen production and cell turnover, promoting the growth of new, healthy cells.
6. Serum
Serums loaded with active ingredients like hyaluronic acid or niacinamide penetrate deep into the skin, making them effective at night when your skin is more receptive to repair and regeneration.
7. Face Masks
Apply rinse-off masks before serums and leave-on masks at the end of your routine. Choose masks with hyaluronic acid or retinoids.
8. Spot Treatments and Eye Creams
Use eye cream to smooth signs of crow’s feet and hydrate the area, and spot treatments to heal acne and other concerns.
9. Moisturizer
Opt for a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or any other antioxidant to make your skin feel soft, young, and healthy.

Lady Dior and the Seven Dilfs
Chapter 5: Rabbit Hole
Masterlist
You tidied your bedroom a little to make it more comfortable. you did some sweeping, you cleaned the window, and pulled out your carpet. You have your beanbag, scented candles, and those carts with wheels in white to fill in your midnight cravings. you have 2 small fridges to store your skincare and cold beverages.
you ordered a customized mattress to place in the bed frame. if you weren't so lazy, you would've replaced it with metal. you have a full XL bed with soft satin covers, you have your varieties of Squishmallow on top and an Ikea Blahaj plushie.
Moving to the window with beige curtains, you have your own desk. well, Price or Artofay never really told you about having to do paperwork but you have your military laptop with cute stickers around it because you hated the dirty yellow color. Beside it, theres a round desk mirror with a portable lamp to do your makeup and skincare.
It's nice to see outside the window too while at it. your clothes are neatly hung on a clothing rack. below it, there are a few boxes of the heels you brought. you took your time admiring your hard work in your own room until there was a knock on the door.
"Hi, (y/n). can we come in?" Soap peered to your level with Gaz behind. you leaned yourself to the door frame, crossing your arm "Is it gonna be 'how was your room makeover' or 'can I lay in your bed', Soapy?" you smirked at them eyeing your bedroom. "How'd you know? should've used witch as your callsign" Gaz laughs. well, you're not wrong. when you were busy in your own room, Soap wouldn't stop talking about the empty ikea boxes in the base's trash bin.
"Please. I'll cook you... what does American like.. Oh, Cheeseburger!" Soap pleaded with a try-hard puppy eyes. "Do not touch my Squishmallow." you stated and he sprinted into your bed the time you moved to the side. "(y/n), Knowing well you've been doing this all alone, I genuinely think you did a great job decorating a whole room," Gaz commented as he was looking through your scented candles. "It's more than decorating, this is my therapy and work out." you smiled at Gaz.
"God this is the softest fucking bed I've ever been in.." Soap buried himself into your bed. You just chuckled at the two snooping around in your room. you sat in your beanbag scrolling through your phone.
Gaz opened one of your small fridge, he was confused at the content. "(y/n), I know you're rich and all but.." you look up to him "...you drink nia..cy an mide?" he squinted his eyes at your niacinamide face serum. your eyes widen in terror. "Jesus, Gaz. I'm sorry sweetie but please put that back carefully." you pointed at the small glass pipette bottle he's holding. "Oh, I'm sorry (y/n)" he did what he was told.
"It's my skincare thing. you know those jelly things girls wear..." You smiled and got up. "the fridge don't just cool the contents, it kills bacterias in it too." you explained. showing Gaz your skincare routines. "can we do that?" Soap's head emerged from your covers. "Do what exactly..?" you glance at your bed squashed by a humongous man. "Jelly on face thing. can we do that"
you paused and looked at Gaz who is nodding in agreement. "What's your skin type?"
˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
"Si," Price called. "Here is the last ammunition. it's best we store the combat supplies now. Have you packed?" he gave the last two boxes to Ghost. "I have, capt." He coldly said before placing the boxes and scanning the trunk. he noticed something he hasn't seen, the biggest box in the corner of the trunk.
"What's this one?" Price looked up from the table. "Which?" "The one with carved LD, rectangular black box." Price paused for a moment before forming his mouth into an 'ooh'. "Princess's, those are customized," he said clearing the table off. Ghost got irritated hearing your nickname. "your favorite, I see." he closes the trunk angrily, it made the other car alarm go off.
Price quickly turn the car down with a remote and sighed, "Simon, please." he leaned to the table facing Ghost. "She doesn't even have respect the first she sees me," He walked towards the captain. "she's all 'I wear what I want' bullshit, that's a liability to us, Captain." he crossed his arms to his chest. "Simon, this is getting out of hand." Price defended, he scoffed beneath his mask. "She's the one getting out of hand, one day she'll make a mistake and all she can do is say 'Oopsie Daisy' like a little bitch." Ghost's voice grew angry.
"Simon, you do not call your superior-"
"Was." Ghost refute.
"She was, captain. I admit it, she IS the FBI's world-class multimillionaire soo much above us, richer than four of us combined. claimed hundreds even thousands of honors authentication from the governor, I know." He pointed at the small pink Barbie heels toy Price got for you as a map dummy.
"but she was demoted for a reason, and I know she will make a nuisance on the field." He rested his tensed fist on the table.
"Simon," Price sighs. "If I demote you from lieutenant, does that make you less valuable?" he knitted his eyebrow and looked through Simon's eyes. Price made him tensed slightly. hearing the word 'demoted' draws images of you in Simon's mind, but he kept his head high. "Depends on the reason, captain."
"what if the reason I relegated you was because you don't trust your own teammates?" Price tilted his head, digging for another complaint from Ghost. if he says he's not dumbfounded at Price's statement, He'd be lying.
"If I were you, I would feel the same, Simon. but just for now, please. Her first mission with us starts tomorrow, and I hope that changes your doubt." He opened a multipurpose screwdriver set. Ghost then sigh in defeat and glanced at his tactical wristwatch. '3.45 PM,'
Price gandered at the time too. "You have two something hours until our team meeting. Might as well unwind yourself for a moment. I want the meeting less personal and more rational could you do that for us, Simon?" Price said whilst fixing a device, dismissing Ghost softly. "Affirmative. I will take my leave, captain." Ghost bowed slightly and left Price alone in the garage.
upon leaving the garage, he found out that the shed and range remained untouched. taking a trip to the cafeteria, he lost his tea appetite due to the sudden tranquility. he noticed the box of Jenga and uno Soap brought to play with the team is in the exact same place.
"too bloody quiet." He muttered. he also found out there was nobody in the main bathroom. "Soap?" his voice echoed against Soap's empty bedroom, the same goes for Gaz's bedroom. "Where the fuck is everyone." He heard his own heartbeat and footsteps bouncing in the hallway.
he ran his palm to the top of his head, slightly anxious. He enjoyed the silence, but too silent is suspiciously weird for someone as loud as Soap and Gaz. But soon then he realizes after that your room is the last chamber he have not checked. He noticed that the door isn't closed shut, he took his time to eavesdrop.
"AND THEN BOOM he got hit by a big ass truck!" Your voice resonated. "Whaaat?!" Gaz and Soap's laughter is heard after. Ghost sighs in relief and decided to glance at the sight. your room was rather dark, the only thing lighting up is your Bath and Body Works scented candles.
Soap wearing a pink skincare bandana with a heart-shaped plush in front of it. his face is covered in some kind of a green gooey jelly-looking substance. but his eyes and mouth remained bare. Gaz's wearing a yellow pineapple imprinted bandana too, but the jelly thing he smeared all over his face is pink.
and you are wearing a white bandana, your hair is neatly tied with a silk robe that reaches your knee. but your thighs were exposed from the slit of the side making you look illegally divine. you have black jelly slathering all over your face. honestly, you guys were just wearing a jelly mask. something someone like Ghost would have no idea about. you can wear a clay mask and he'd think you fell to a cow shit.
"When I was on duty in Cali, the radio of our car actually played TS's song. I think it was like Lover or something, Gaz? remember that time?" Soap tapped Gaz's shoulder as you continuously nodding while filing your nail. "Yeah, and since then Soap was all about Swifties." the three of you laughed at Gaz's statement. "I'm not sure about my song of choice though, I.." Gaz shrugged his shoulder. "I listen to anything I feel like. mostly Beyoncè." Soap tilts his head to you, "Remember that one time about the awards drama thing?"
you clicked your tongue and threw your nail filers to the side, "is it the VMA? like that one time when Kanye said something like 'this is suppose to be beyoncè' type of shit, like who the fuck does he think he is, I love Beyonce but TS deserves that win too." you gossiped while tilting your head to Soap. "Girl, you know I think he's giving-" "Desperation." You, Gaz, and Soap said at the same time.
"That dumbass, quote on quote MADE Taylor Swift famous while she was winning an award-" Soap flicked your Prada magazine page while squinting his eyebrows. "How does that add up???" Gaz replied. "I know right??" Soap rolled his eyes.
you were laughing with the two until the corner of your eye caught a glimpse of another life."...Ghost?" Your calling made the two of them jolted, only to see He's leaning in the dark inside your walls already. "(y/n), you're delusional no one is-" Ghost took a step forward letting the light from your candle illuminates him. "Bloody hell you're scary" Gaz hides his face with the magazine Soap is holding.
"People smearing their face with colorized mud versus my existence. I think you're more horrific." He sternly said. Ghost was actually impressed that you noticed his arrival. "It's called Skinwalker, Ghost." Soap exclaimed. "..Skincare," you whispered. "It's called skincare, Ghost." he tuned again.
Ghost rolled his eyes and walked towards the three of you. you were laying flat on your stomach in your bed whilst Gaz and Soap is on the floor leaning against your bed. "There's space here if you'd like." you put yourself in a sitting position and patted the empty space of your bed. he pauses himself before deciding to join the three of you.
but as he sat down, there was a pause between the four of you. Gaz, Soap, and you glanced at Ghost whose making the bed sinking into him as if he was a dark hole.
but not long after that, a small creak and the sound of the bedframe breaking down made you, Gaz, and Soap yelp.
˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
Ghost watches you angrily dumping your duffle bag near his wardrobe. you were walking around his room placing down your necessities in certain spots. he lets you use his desk to put down a few bottles of your morning skincare.
"(y/n) I-" "Don't." you cut him off as you plug your mini skincare fridge into an available power socket. "I rather not talk about it, I won't beef about it I promise." You huffed your cheek in annoyance.
"Okay, you can use the bed on top. I'll use the lower mat-" "That'll do." you cut him off again. he was slightly irritated but your tone and words reminds him of how he'd treated Soap back when he was first assigned to him.
"Okaaay. I thank whoever is in the sky for whatever mess that happened tonight," you took a deep breath and close your eyes, locking your fingers together. "I hope with today's bad luck, tomorrow will go smoother." you exhaled dramatically. "Okay, I'm off to Capt's." you turned your back and left the room. "Byee." you sarcastically cooed as the door closes behind you.
Ghost sighed in defeat and eventually walked towards the door. but he couldn't help but notice a piece of Polaroid has slipped through one of your binders book. he didn't want to care but he's genuinely worried if it was important.
picking up the small square film, he flips it to see the content. God, you wish you saw his eyes widening in terror. it was someone's mug shot, with a concerning amount of bruises in the face.
On the board, it said 'Rick McRaynott'. Price's voice about your drug smuggling case that made you demoted replayed in his head. he looked over his own desk that you've occupied with her pink binder book and a few bottles of skincare he can't pronounce.
the cover of the book has a red lipstick kiss mark in the middle with a suspicious amount of doodles in the corners. on the center, it said 'Burn Book' with multiple cut-out letters. he scooted over and opened your book. On the first page, there was a thin FBI identification card with your picture printed too. it was inside a plastic and glued securely.
Federal Bureau of Investigation
(Y/N) (L/N)
Place and birth of date: Classified, */**/****
Rank: Executive Agent In Charge
status: Active on Field
card validity period: November 2025
Property of The United States Of America
in God we trust.
he sighed at the card and flipped the pages again. despite the repugnant content, there are multiple cat stickers and doodled flowers all over the pages. even a letter sticker saying 'Homicide UwU' and green tape with frog doodles around the edges of the page. he bit his tongue after recalling how many times he has snitched to Price about you because of his own personal hesitation. he felt guilty.
God, it looked like Leonard Lake's diary but it's all pink and glitters. he saw gruesome pictures of a soaked bloody machete with a note saying 'evidence weapon:3' in blue glitter ink. another picture of a presumably deceased Japanese man with the guts spilling out of a bathtub, followed by your handwritten note again. 'Koisheki (35), 8-10-2018' and a red stamp saying 'solved' over it.
he rubbed his temper in stress because there are multiple gut-wrenching pictures of the victim's dead body. but he lost it in the mug shot pictures with again, your handwriting. saying:
'Mateo X - Rania Gianvito Rossi Pumps'
'Alba R - Emmy London Rebecca Suede Pumps'
'Elioud H - Louis Vuitton Patent leather nude pumps'
he killed multiple people before, he saw gushes, wounds, and unexplainable injuries and he treated them well. but something about your 'Burn Book' surprisingly took a chunk out of his sanity. he never expected himself to discover that the classified stuff you went through before demotion was something that can shake his senses.
"Bloody fucking hell," He quickly places Rick's mugshot on the empty note saying '8 Inch black heels PLEASER BEYOND' assuming that it's where the film belongs.
he fast walked from his room towards Captain Price's office. rethinking his life choices about going through your binder clip. As he was walking, he thought about all the contents. Mid-walking, he stopped in his tracks and inhaled sharply at the sudden realization.
Those abhorrent pictures in the mugshot weren't just assaulted criminals. it's your handwritten records of which high heels you've beaten them with.
you've been working alone. you tortured those bandits by yourself, with your heels.
⊹₊。ꕤ˚₊⊹
"Alright," Price spread open the rolled map on the table, right in the center of the room. Ghost's eyes haven't left your head, but you didn't notice this. Price placed a few pawns on top of the map and colored Sharpies. the small pawn toys consist of a Barbie heel, a skull toy, a cap, a fish, and a bullet. "How come you get to be the cool one?" Gaz picked up the small fish toy. "I think the fish reminds me of you when we went fishing in Islamorada." Price chuckled as he wrote down something with the marker.
your eyes glistened in awe as you pick up the small pink Barbie shoe. you felt Soap's hand around your shoulders. "Let's be tactical, yeah Dior?" He chuckled to you as you look up at him. "affirmative, sir" you playfully leaned to his side.
Time flies as Price plans out the mission. for some apparent reason, the kidnapper hasn't really contacted anyone in the authorities for bail money. After a few talks and conclusions, the hostage is needed alive. you pointed at a specific spot on the map, "Hostage situation is always needed alive. Unless a ransom is fulfilled, they either dismiss her or eliminate her. But in this case, Its obvious that they don't want our interference." you concluded.
"I think it's best if we do a translucent scout complaisant...which sounds stupid." You said, placing your Barbie heels on top of the Scrabble in the map. "...bargain search and clear?" Gaz commented at your statement. "That sounds stupid too, I guess."
"That's not a bad idea, Dior." Price moved his bullet pawn beside yours. "Soap hijacks cctv, Gaz look out. Capt and Lt could do the sweeping," You drew a few lines around the map. "And you? gonna sit still?" Ghost hissed. "I was about to say I'm gonna lurk with Soap's vision but since you said that, maybe I'll change my mind." You sarcastically shrugged.
"Bloody fuckin hell." He muttered. "Is 'bloody fuckin hell' your signature catchphrase or all british says that" you raised your eyebrow which irritated him. but he held back after the content im your book replayed in his mind. "I think that was extraneous but I do agree about the lurking part." your eyes sparked at Price's.
"(y/n), are you going to use your compound?" Soap drawed a few lines in the map, which caused you to look at Price with sad eyes. "we have that choice, you think the one you broke is the only compound in the world?" he chuckled. "I mean, I'm confident to hit streaks. maybe I'll need a lot of arrows that can crush skulls." You place your finger in your chin, "For plucking eyeballs, I need the ones with a contracting stemmed bullet point." you added.
"we have that. were heading to the headquarter first before Urzsk, I'm sure they have multiples kind of arrows with a bunch of stocks." Price said looking down proudly at the plan they've discussed. "or you should hold at least two handguns, just in case." Gaz continued, you smile at him in agreement.
Task Force 141 decided to intelize the kidnapper, bait with bail, get to the location, clear and go home. easier said than done, thats one. "They won't hesitate to kill her if we made the wrong move, I think the biggest responsibility will be at my stake." you tightened the bow in your robe. "Then don't make the wrong move or shake the pot." You frowned at Ghost's statement.
"Alright off to bed you kiddos, we should leave earlier in the morning, avoiding rush hours. pack for a week, snacks for 3 hours, I drive. dismissed!" Price clasped his hand and tidied the map. you rolled your eyes and left the room.
⊹₊。ꕤ˚₊⊹
You stretched yourself in your...well, Ghost's bed. but technically its kinda yours for a few night until they replaced your bedframe. but you have your covers and a fluffy blanket to keep yourself cozy.
you used your eyecover and layed facing to Ghost's bed. usually at this hour, you're busy scrolling TikTok to see Leon Kennedy thirst trap edit, Tumblr to see Miguel O'Hara nasty fanart or Ao3 to catch up your favorite fanfics of other fictional dilfs you worryingly simp over but tomorrow is a big day for you.
you heard the door creaking open and closes. you knew who it was so you don't bother to see who it is. you could hear him laying on his bed and taking his time to position himself comfortably. you pay no mind.
"(y/n)-" "No." you cut him off. your peace is disturbed as you feel your jaw is gripped with strong palms, yanking you up from the bed. "You bloody fucking look at me, y'hear?" you pressed his buttons too much now.
"Well I definitely can see you right fucking now, Ghost." you hissed, your eyelids fluttered as he ripped your sleeping eye mask off. "Hey!" you slapped his wrist off your jaw. his hand is fucking hard. "You rip my shit, I'll shove your balaclava up your ass!" you take over your eyemask checking for any signs of torned. "What is wrong with you? are you mad at me because I drank tea with milk or what?" You faced him fearlessly.
"Nu uh, you're just bloody fucking annoying," he sternly said. "and you better not fuck up tomorrow's mission." your mouth falls agape at his judgement.
"Fuck you mean nu uh, I ain't done shit." You crossed your arm in annoyance. "You better have some respect for your lieutenant tomorrow, because we're going tactical, you fucking demoted shit." He threateningly pointed at you. "When the lieutenant has earned my respect, then I'll be fucking tactical, brits." You fumed to him, he glared daggers to you and tilt his head disturbingly whilst you put your eye mask back on. "I'm sorry?"
"apology accepted." you pull your blanket over your head, huffed and sleep facing back from him.
He was stunned.
Ghost, a man of war. there's no way he is going to sleep easily, hell the last time he slept comfortably was definitely when he came to his apartment back in Manchester. Which was a long time ago, he has severe insomnia.
You were softly breathing in your sleep, which was good. you definitely didn't have dirty thoughts about your fictional men before you fall asleep. Ghost in the other hand, he has your binder book in his bed and his laptop dimming the light. everytime you turn in your sleep, he'd briskly pull his cover so you wouldn't see your book in his hands if you were about to wake up.
he enjoyed the silence and the soft muttering you made as he was researching your past cases. he found out a lot of things.
your personal beef with Sheperd, the classified governer's website and how to access them. A lot about Kate Laswell and other people. he even managed to dig himself into your records back when you're in a private military school.
He sees your flaw, your strength, your insecurities, pictures of your childhood, pictures of you proudly cuffing your first felon, picture of you and Kate Laswell when she got married to her wife, and a copy of your demotion letter. with a handwriten sticky notes below it
'Fuck the military' he rolled his eyes as he read it.
he found out about your mom, but not your dad. which is weird to him. he actually gets to learn about you, even your ex lovers. he knows your specific customized starbuck drink, knew your favorite food, your period cycle, knew why you were so petty to everyone, your Leon Kennedy obssession, why you bitch a lot, why you wear heels all the time, why you-
"No please don't.." Ghost pulled his covers in reflex. "...Dad, could you not do that... I can't.." he gazes his eyes to you sleep talking.
"No I dont like this, can you make it stop... please"
'Jesus, she better not be cryin, I ain't paid enough for that.' he got up and sat in his bed watching your voice shifting from talking to whimpering, listening to every word you muttered in your sleep.
Unfortunately, his expressions changed when you started to hyperventilate.

Hi Alice!! Hope you’re doing well and taking care of yourself 💜
I had some random thoughts pop in my head: what kind of music do u think Lloyd would listen to? Like what would he listen to running errands or working out
Another random thought: what’s his self care routine like? We all know how much our boy loves to pamper himself and keep his appearance up 😝 you don’t have to answer if u don’t want! I also just want to say I love your work and you have a gift for writing 💓💓 keep up the amazing work
Lloyd's self care routine beings with his skin. He's not particularly spendy in this department, but he always prioritizes his routine. Lloyd Hansen does not miss a day of skin care - ever. He uses Cetaphil for a cleanser because it's hypoallergenic. This is purely for practical purposes, since he goes through a lot of it. He washes his face every morning, again after his workout, and double cleanses with an oil, and then Cetaphil to rinse it off, at night.
With moisturizer, he's more picky. He likes the Blu Atlas because of the woodsy scent and their high quality ingredients. Unlike the cleanser, which is basically fancy soap, his moisturizer is going to stay on and permeate his skin for hours. So, this is where he spends his money. He uses an eye cream from Blu Atlas, and wishes he'd have started using it earlier.
Lloyd wears facial sunscreen every single day, and makes sure to reapply on the days he golfs. He keeps regular spray on sunscreen in the golf cart for the rest of his body.
He also uses a Niacinamide serum and vitamin C serum in the morning. In the evening, he applies the AlphaRet overnight cream before bed. Lloyd has no intention of wrinkling early, particularly not when he's dating someone so much younger than him.
Also, he's not hesitant to do some dermaplaning, microneedling, or a facial peel now and then. Lloyd sees his dermatologist twice a year for a skin check and preventative care.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Lloyd’s taste in music is as follows:
Rock
Classical
Country
Rhythm & Blues
Hip Hop / Rap
First is rock music. He grew up listening to R.E.M., Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, KISS, and the Beastie Boys. This is the genre he gravitates towards the most. 90s rock is his favorite era, followed closely by 80s rock. For that decade, his favorites are: Queen, Lover Boy, Depeche Mode, and Bruce Springsteen. In the genre, his taste spans a wide variety of artists from ZZ Top to the Rolling Stones and all the way into more pop influenced bands like Cheap Trick and The Outfield.
Lloyd is also a huge fan of classical music.
He’d never willingly share this fact, but it’s been a coping mechanism of his for a long time. His study hall teacher used to play it during class and he found it really helped him calm down and concentrate. The softer sounds of composers like Bach, Mozart, and Debussy are among his favorites. With time, his taste expanded into underrated composers like Erich Korngold, Alexander Scriabin, and Ottorino Respighi. In terms of minutes listened, classical music is one of Lloyd’s core genres.
He also enjoys country music. Like his taste for classical music, he sometimes prefers to hide this one. Being around Zach, who also loves country music, tends to bring it out more. His favorites are George Strait, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, LeAnn Rimes, and Alan Jackson. He also likes some of the older artists like Ronnie Milsap, Charley Pride, Glen Campbell, Merle Haggard and Eddy Arnold.
Another genre he listens to is R&B. This stems from being alive in the 90’s. Boys II Men released bangers, okay? Once you heard them on the radio you went looking for more. He likes Alicia Keys, Montell Jordan, Rihanna and Marvin Gaye. His taste in Rap and Hip Hop was developed more in college. It was the popular workout soundtrack of the time and his college football program played it in the weights room. He mostly likes artists like DMX, Eminem, Nas, OutKast, Ice Cube, and Tupac.
Finally, here are some of Lloyd’s favorite songs.

Blogmas Charlotte Tilbury hydrating skincare 🤍
Hi guys,
Since it's been so cold lately I wanted to talk you through my winter Charlotte Tilbury routine. During the colder months my skin needs more hydration so today I wanted to chat you through products that really help my skin. So today we are chatting about my favourite Tilbury skincare products and if you want to see an affordable drugstore skincare version let me know.
Let's start at the beginning of my routine after I have washed and double cleansed my face, I pick up the Glow Toner, £40.00. I love this toner because it is a pore-refining, acid-free hydrating toner with niacinamide for baby soft, smooth feeling skin and pores that appear reduced. I love how fresh my skin feels everytime I use this and glow it gives me after. It is also really good at removing dirt / dead skin cells from your complexion. I'm obsessed and use it every morning.
Next up I use a product I recently added to my collection the Magic Hydrating Mist, £35.00. On Charlotte's site she normally recommends doing this step before the Glow Toner but I don't want to then remove it with toner so I swap it around. If you haven't seen the Hydrating Mist, this is a new product in Charlotte's skincare wardrobe and it is a mist that oxygenating, hydrating face mist with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and pollution defence for an instant dewy glow on-the-go
In the past few years I have been obsessed with serum and using it after the first 2 steps feels like I'm looking in all that hydration. The Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, £65.00 has been my go to serum for 4+ years now and I owe a lot to it. Before I used it my skin was so oily and I felt like my skin was dull but having used it everyday for 4 years now my skin texture is amazing compared to what it was. Since my skin is more hydrated using these products I'm less oily because my skin isn't making up for hydration it's missing. When I started using this serum I didn't expect it to make my skin look so much brighter and just give me a nice healthy glow. Even on days when I'm not wearing makeup I will always have serum on.
Lastly we have the Magic Water Cream, £79.00. This cream has been designed for the "dehydration nation" as Charlotte says. Like the original cream this one cream will make your skin feel softer, more plump and boosts skin hydration 100% ( can't confirm stats from website but does feel amazing). I love using this cream because my skin feels way more hydrated when I use it and my dry patches are way less intense when I'm wearing makeup. Using this cream with the other products really helps my skin texture feel smooth and hydrated but you could also use this cream itself and feel like your skin is 10x better.
If you are someone who likes to purchase Charlotte Tilbury products then I really recommend you checking out her skin range. Though I know it's a pricey skincare collection to purchase, from my own experience the products are amazing and have really helped my skin type and texture improve. As always all products are linked above.
Lots of love,
Bella x x
