i have suddenly become obsessed with a theme that HoO established but never proceeded to extrapolate on, which is:

You are Percy Jackson, and you have been swapped with a boy who was allegedly everyone's favorite person, but they have decided to replace him with you. They just met you. You are Annabeth Chase, and you have just become starkly aware that you have been inhabiting the void left behind by your best friend's long lost brother. You and Luke were just replacements for him. Now you have to look him in the eyes when he has nothing and know you took that life from him.

You are Piper McLean, and you have just found out your relationship is fake and built entirely on the memories of Annabeth Chase. You have been given a boyfriend when hers has been taken away. You have no idea how much of it is real or not but regardless you feel like if your relationship isn't exactly in their image that you have failed.

You are Leo Valdez, and you have just learned that you are the echo of your great-grandfather. You are not your own person. You just exist to be a mirror of him. A doppelganger. Biggest hindrance of Doctor Who being a family show is that it ends up preventing authenticity. By which I specifically mean there's no damn way that Donna's response to some of the things The Doctor says wouldn't have been "Fuck off."

Couldn’t stop thinking about Dust being able to pass as Classic. So I had an idea where Dust replaces Classic in a timeline and steals(?) his partner.

He gets conflicted when he starts actually caring about you… But denial is an easy road to take when there’s seemingly no consequences to your actions.

The reveal i guess. Most normal reaction to learning your partners been replaced for god knows how long and you have no clue where he is.

Now that I think about it I might’ve gotten some inspiration from that one chapter of IJAG by @htsan (iykyk) only a lil bit tho

These past few days have been very painful and stressful so I wanted to draw sad Pomni to help me feel better. But FireAlpaca kept breaking and this was as far as I could draw before I gave up 🥲

I must have done something wrong. FireAlpaca is up to date.. so maybe syncing my laptop with the cloud overwhelmed my laptop or changed something that is now affecting FireAlpaca? Or maybe my pen is busted because I dropped it too many times? But then why would it keep working after reopening FireAlpaca?

Maybe it got all screwed up when I kept installing and uninstalling tablet drivers before I realized what I was doing wrong. Maybe it's the chord and the connection is just bad? Maybe those weren't drivers and I just downloaded a virus. Maybe my laptop is worse off than I think and it's causing FireAlpaca to break? But it runs everything else fine.. maybe my tablet is much older than I realize and this is the first signs of it breaking for good?

Whatever the problem is, I just know that somewhere along the line I messed something up. And now FireAlpaca is almost unusable. I wish I knew what I did wrong and how to fix it but I just can't work with tech 😔

Okay but imagine being Hunter during the Clone Wars Bad Batch arc (in my and some others’ headcanons at least)- you have this closed-off, bratty little brother who hates most clones, is constantly bitching and picking fights with the clones assigned to your mission, and did not care about this mission in the first place, and all of a sudden he’s imprinted like a duckling on this crazy ARC trooper who was cracking jokes and fighting after just being rescued from being a POW and asking you with big puppy eyes if you can keep him before you yourself trust said ARC trooper yet.

i cannot stress enough how important it is to write at your own pace. to give your mind and spirit room to breathe, to process your creativity and allow it to come organically to you. goals and discipline are a good and necessary part of any hobby, especially writing, but so is rest. rest prevents burn out. and if you push yourself until you burn out you will wind up taking even longer to complete projects or meet goals. even if you are already burnt out that's okay. this is your sign to give yourself the grace to take breaks. your story, your muses, your brilliant ideas will be waiting for you to pick them up with proper enthusiasm when you're ready.

When pressure on the GCPD to catch Batman gets really bad, they literally will arrest some random person dressed as Batman, slap them with outrageous charges, and then use the backlogged courts system and the lack of any evidence to tell the powers that made them do this, aw shucks, thought we really had him that time.

Torchwood gets massive props from me for using the "character gets tricked into thinking they did something terrible and confesses it to their loved one" trope with the loved one instead of freaking out just going "no you fucking didn't. We're going to figure out what's actually going on here"

so i think we as a fandom agree that if someone Erik cares about got sick he'd absolutely fuss over them but lately i've been thinking about why he would do this and i came up with something i'm Not Normal About so y'all need to hear me out now

he'd been in a concentration camp. he had probably seen so many people die because of a common cold 'cause their immune systems were so weakened by the fatal conditions in the camp they couldn't fight it off. as a little boy he'd learnt that the moment you get sick you're already dead, and every time someone around him so much as sneezes he's reminded of all the deaths he saw that were caused by something seemingly so innocent as a cold.

so anyway this is all i can think about. i'm literally going insane. me and my friend are also writing fics on that
