I got bored and decided to rapid fire as many Gods as I could if they were in the modern world

Zeus: Billionaire CEO that controls Power and Electricity (somehow an improvement over his myth counterpart...but not by much.)

Poseidon: Runs a Oceanic Shipping and Fishing Company.

Hera: Ex-wife of Zeus that now runs a company that plans weddings.

Hades: Runs a Funeral Home and Several Gold Mines.

Demeter: Runs a Farming Company. Mostly focuses on sustainability.

Persephone: Groundskeeper of the Funeral Homes of Hades.

Hestia: Local bed and breakfast that gets large donations from her brothers and sisters to stay afloat that goes to various charities as she wants to run her business her way.

Leto: Childcare

Nike, Bia, Kratos, and Zelus: Athletes (Athena has a crush on Nike)

Hebe and Heracles: A Gym that helps people stay in the prime of their youth and old age.

Asclepius: World Famous Surgeon and Owner of a Hospital

Eileithyia: Runs a hospital wing dedicated to midwifery and childbirth.

Ares: General in the Marines, prefers to be out in the field.

Athena: Jonny Kim but a woman.

Apollo: Musician that spends way too much on lawyers managing his various…controversies.

Artemis: Someone who teaches outdoor survival skills and self-defense courses to young women.

Aphrodite: Modeling, Beauty Products, and Sex Work but somehow manages a passionate and healthy relationship with Ares after the divorce with Hephaestus.

Hephaestus: Inventor, mostly focuses on weapons and robotics but dibbles and dabbles with sex toys when he tried and failed to make the marriage with Aphrodite work…but Algaia appreciates them.

Algaia and the Graces: Charity Work and Artist.

Hermes: Runs a Shipping Company and several Online Chatting servers.

Dionysus: Sommelier and Night Club Owner.

Eros II and the Erotes (and Psyche): Runs several Online Dating sights.

Phobos and Deimos: Ex-soldiers turned horror movie directors after discovering that people would be willing to pay to get scared.

Harmonia: Social Justice Advocate.

Ariadne: Runs Escape Rooms in the basement of Dionysus's clubs

Eris: Hacker who works for the highest bidder who also trolls on Hermes's messaging boards for shits and giggles.

Enyo: Black Ops and Mercenary Work.

Thanatos: Hospice Care and Assistant to Hades.

Hypnos: Sleep counselor

Hedone: Tantric Yoga and Vacation Planner.

I finally took the time to photograph my vintage dip pen nib collection, and I need to share with you all how wonderful and diverse their designs are.

These two are my favorite. Just look at them! One of them is named Gorille and the other Mephisto, but to me they're little pumpkins.

And of course you gotta love the Pinocchio nib. You get to write with the nose of a tiny guy! Just not something you get to do anymore.

#I collect them because they come in fun shapes but they're also incredibly nice to use #all the ones I own write impressively smoothly #even the most flexible and fine pointed nibs #I have a ton of modern nibs as well (like a lot) and smoothness plus flexibility is not a common trait combo #good object #dip pens

While I do find it funny that henchmen in Gotham probably warn each other about the Red Hood because he's a bat who will actually kill you. I think it would be better if Jason was actually seen as some sort of savior or idol to like 90% of the goons scattered around Gotham. Doesn't matter who they work for, they all know Jason, former crime-lord that took over majority of Gotham's underground in one night.

Jason, years after the events of UTRH, now fighting crime alongside the batfam, except every goon he runs into immediately recognizes him, stops fighting, and starts begging.

the first time it happens, Jason assumes they're begging for their lives only to hear them begging for him to return to the crime lord business so they can work for him and not Gotham's current money-stingy, abusive rogues (Black Mask lol)

Goon (Jeremy): Aw, that's disappointing. We really liked working for you, right guys?

[Chorus of enthusiastic "YEAHS" from the rest of the henchmen (even the one holding Dick at knifepoint)]

Goon (Jeremy): Well, anyways, I can't beat you up knowing you're my old boss! You gave us the best health benefits! We'll just let you take the evidence and leave.

Jason: Aw, thanks guys :)

And that's why 95% percent of Jason's missions in Gotham end in success. Not because he's willing to kill people or because rogues are terrified of him, but because 90% of the rogues' henchmen once worked for Jason and fuckin love him lol.

Been thinking about Ford watching the 70s Animated Lord of the Rings Movies... (companion comic to this post!)

#the other two VHS tapes Fidd's is holding are Rankin-Bass' The Hobbit (1977) and Return of the King (1980)! The 70s animated pseudo-trilogy!#A lot of people pointed out on my other lotr 'crossover' post that Ford would have seen the 70s movies!#And i wont lie i entirely forgot they existed. But now i remember i have so many feelings on it okay. “I’m a twin”, Damian said one night. He could feel the narrowed eyes of his family drilling holes on his back in disbelief. Not that he could blame them. Damian had never so much as implied being raised with a companion, much less a sibling.

“I had a brother”. Damian paused to recollect himself. He had not said his brother’s name out loud in over 8 years.

“His name was… Danyal”. Damian hated the way his voice wavered, but he could not help it. Danyal was everything to him, his other half. Their heart beat as one and when one heart stopped beating, the other one died with it. At least until his family put his heart on metaphorical life support without ever realizing.

“Where is he now?” His father asked, voice filled with knowing grief and a hint of betrayal. It had in fact been 6 years since Damian first showed up on his doorstep.

“Up there”. All eyes shifted towards the specific star he was pointing to. “Right before he died, he promised me he’d guide me from the stars. Unfortunately, the stars are not visible in Gotham, so my brother is unable to be of much help unless I leave the city.”

“Your brother is Polaris, the North Star?” Tim questioned warily, most likely in attempts to not offend him. Damian was aware of how stupid it sounded, but Danyal had promised, and his brother never broke his promises.

“Yes. Danyal is with the stars now, just as he always wanted”

Danny was once known as the god Dan-El in one of his previous lives #he’s ALSO the reincarnation of the Greek Titan Astraeus (and he’s pretty sure Dani is his daughter Astraea)#his previous lives are all so interesting (he still can’t believe he was raised an assassin or that he was a god in multiple lives)#but in all honesty it’s even weirder feeling so old and so young at the same time

They're natural! He's missing triangular notches on the outer edges of both, but they're supposed to be tall and pointy.

All dogs are born with soft and floppy ears, and it can take some time for the cartilage in them to harden enough for the ears to stay upright reliably, especially if they're particularly big, thin and batlike.

I made this little age chart a couple of years ago, specifically to demonstrate the evolution of his ear situation.
