#we need a remake to this anime

The trailer for the live-action How To Train Your Dragon is making its rounds again on my social media feeds and I have decided instead of sitting quietly in my anger and disappointment I will speak on it.

Ok, look. I’ve been a fan of httyd since 2010. As far as I’ve always been aware, the point of this shot is that Toothless is meant to be mimicking Hiccup. Copying him, because “oh look let me sit like how this funny human guy is sitting so he catches on to my request”, plus also *let me sit like you so you’re less intimidated*.

I loved this scene as a kid, because this tied in with the swallow gesture and the lick-lips gesture really brings the scene together, Toothless’ mannerisms MAKE the scene.

Which is why, I find it so disappointing that they haven’t captured this element in the trailer for the live remake.

Now, I’m sure the scene will still have its charms and whatnot, but as a long term fan of httyd I just can’t help but feel annoyed. Where is the funny sitting position? The oddness that made us all so fond of Toothless?

For the record, I never wanted them to make a live action because I knew they inevitably would stuff it up. Those animated movies are my childhood, and I can’t help but feel like they should have been left to rest in peace.

started rereading and rewatching bleach and my god is the Orihime and Ichihime erasure in the anime pissing me off...the way they straight up removed and changed her scenes especially in relation to her crush towards Ichigo to the point you might not even realize she actually likes him at first when in the manga it's blatantly obvious and literally established within her first appearance heck even in chapter 0 like what was the reason...

As I am rewatching Beast Wars in all its early 3D animation glory (it's awful, but I love it), I've been thinking of what a remaster of the show would look like.

Beacuse

Even with the character's original designs (which are lowkey pretty fire) a better model would do them justice (Like in War for Cybertron).

Also updating all the bots that are Dinosaurs to fit what we currently think to be what dinosaurs look like would be awesome

Like image how awesome it would be for Dinobot to be a Utah Raptor.

Anyway, I used to watch Beat Wars RELIGIOUSLY as a small child and regardless of whether they getting redesigned or not I need the show to be remade LOL

Yellow Submarine was a planned computer-animated remake of The Beatles' 1968 film of the same name. Director Robert Zemeckis was to incorporate the 16 Beatles songs and recordings from the original motion picture licensed from Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC and EMI-Capitol Records, respectively, before it was cancelled. In 2009, Disney, Apple Corps and ImageMovers Digital announced plans for a remake of the Beatles' animated film, "Yellow Submarine," using motion capture technology. The film was scheduled for release in 2012, coinciding with the London Olympic Games. Director Robert Zemeckis would lead the project, with voices such as Peter Serafinowicz (Paul McCartney), Dean Lennox Kelly (John Lennon), Cary Elwes (George Harrison) and Adam Campbell (Ringo Starr). Additionally, a Broadway stage adaptation and a Cirque du Soleil show were planned if the film was successful. However, in May 2010, Disney shut down ImageMovers Digital due to the failure of its previous projects, and ultimately canceled the film in 2011 after another box office failure, "Mars Needs Moms." Zemeckis had the option of taking the project to other studios, but ultimately decided not to pursue the film. In 2012, Zemeckis expressed his lack of interest in remaking the film, noting the difficulties of making remakes in today's film industry.

infinite drawings 41-50, i want infinite to come back so we can have more long boi content. i love that worm off a string. hashtag justice 4 long boi. another fun fact is that i headcanon infinite to be illiterate. every instance you see of him using technology, hes using voice-to-text and tts screen readers. in the sonadow fanfic doodle hes typing along but he actually has the keyboard disabled bc otherwise it would just be gibberish, and thats why hes speaking as he types. when writing the words in the sand he just copied what was on his phone to the best of his ability after having it display what he wanted to write. his lack of education never got in the way of anything while he was working with eggman either; the empire surprisingly does not shirk on accessibility
