started rereading and rewatching bleach and my god is the Orihime and Ichihime erasure in the anime pissing me off...the way they straight up removed and changed her scenes especially in relation to her crush towards Ichigo to the point you might not even realize she actually likes him at first when in the manga it's blatantly obvious and literally established within her first appearance heck even in chapter 0 like what was the reason...

This is my formal plea to literally everyone that you STOP going out and buying tickets to Disney remakes and sequels. As someone who holds that studio very close to my heart for the magic they used to create, it genuinely blows my mind how they're still finding immense financial success with shitty reincarnations of their preexisting IP. Do people not understand? Hate alone will do nothing! The top people at Disney are suffocating their artists with corporate greed! The executives and the shareholders do not give a SHIT if people on letterboxd hate their movie. If it's making money in the box office, they will continue making garbage because it WORKS! Please get a fucking grip and support other animation studios or literally any new IP that Disney actually decides to take a chance on, because money speaks, and it's the only language these current money hungry cowards at Disney seem to understand! I know for a damn FACT Walt has been turning in his grave for the past ten to fifteen years and it makes the prior Disney obsessed child in me SICK!!!

Yellow Submarine was a planned computer-animated remake of The Beatles' 1968 film of the same name. Director Robert Zemeckis was to incorporate the 16 Beatles songs and recordings from the original motion picture licensed from Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC and EMI-Capitol Records, respectively, before it was cancelled. In 2009, Disney, Apple Corps and ImageMovers Digital announced plans for a remake of the Beatles' animated film, "Yellow Submarine," using motion capture technology. The film was scheduled for release in 2012, coinciding with the London Olympic Games. Director Robert Zemeckis would lead the project, with voices such as Peter Serafinowicz (Paul McCartney), Dean Lennox Kelly (John Lennon), Cary Elwes (George Harrison) and Adam Campbell (Ringo Starr). The motion capture would be done by the Beatles tribute group called "The Fab Four." David Tennant was in talks to play Chief Blue Meanie. Additionally, a Broadway stage adaptation and a Cirque du Soleil show were planned if the film was successful. However, in May 2010, Disney shut down ImageMovers Digital due to the failure of its previous projects, and ultimately canceled the film in 2011 after another box office failure, "Mars Needs Moms." Zemeckis had the option of taking the project to other studios, but ultimately decided not to pursue the film. In 2012, Zemeckis expressed his lack of interest in remaking the film, noting the difficulties of making remakes in today's film industry.

Everyone needs to drop everything and watch moon girl and devil dinosaur right now!!! It's SO GOOD y'all! The animation is smooth, snappy, creative, and fun! (And it's done by the same studio as rottmnt!!!) The characters all feel fresh while being incredibly likable and charming. And the soundtrack is seriously god-tier!!!

Plus, that's not even mentioning all the representation! All the main characters are POC and there are multiple moments of LGBT+ rep!

This isn't even scratching the surface! The show has so much heart and clearly has a TON of passion poured into it! I literally can't recommend it enough! If you're at all interested, go check it out! The first two episodes are up on Disney's YouTube channel for free!

infinite drawings 41-50, i want infinite to come back so we can have more long boi content. i love that worm off a string. hashtag justice 4 long boi. another fun fact is that i headcanon infinite to be illiterate. every instance you see of him using technology, hes using voice-to-text and tts screen readers. in the sonadow fanfic doodle hes typing along but he actually has the keyboard disabled bc otherwise it would just be gibberish, and thats why hes speaking as he types. when writing the words in the sand he just copied what was on his phone to the best of his ability after having it display what he wanted to write. his lack of education never got in the way of anything while he was working with eggman either; the empire surprisingly does not shirk on accessibility
