I have a favorite store that I always stop by when I go to Kichijoji. The name of the store is “WATER DOG GARDEN”, the owner is very kind to dogs and has a wide range of goods to help owners enjoy life with their dogs❤️

Anyway, everything is COOL!!!!

I did a lot of shopping and left the store with shopping bags in both hands✨🛍️😂🛍️✨

Personal rambling.. keep it moving.

Idk where to start I’m just so sad and frustrated.. I told my husband I didn’t feel ready for a dog. I’m so overwhelmed with the new house and I’ve only moved once before so it’s a big change for me. The plan was to wait a couple years but he talked me into getting one now anyway. I thought, why not? Not much is going to change in a couple years, we’ve always wanted a dog, I’ll adjust.

I did not adjust. I hated every second of it. I love dogs and don’t understand why I felt that way. I just started hating the puppy and my husband more and more every day. I got very depressed. The house was a disaster and it was so hot my garden completely died because I couldn’t keep up with everything.

My mom took the puppy. My husband was sad and understandably upset but understood. I’m just still so upset he didn’t listen. And I’m upset I didn’t put my foot down. I was feeling good about this house I was excited to finish unpacking and decorate and learn how to care for the beautiful garden that was left here.. my chronic pain still gets to me sometimes but I felt really happy in spite of that. This ruined it. My mental health is the worst it’s been in many years. I’m so disappointed in myself.

so last night my flatmates dog knocked over the trash and spread it all through the living room while she was out and i spent a solid 15 minutes picking up trash (i heard rustling but my flatmate didn’t bloody tell me she was out so i thought it was her cooking not the fucking dog) and i have CONFIRMED that a solid 80% of our trash is hers so my annoyance at her filling the bin super quickly is fueled. now today we got an email that our apartment can rent one (1) garden plot but i was in a meeting and didn’t see it until after she had swooped in and claimed it for herself. i have also been asked to dog sit for two weeks over summer which i need to find a way out of because i have ended up dogsitting for at least a week every month since we moved in together and it is a pain in the ass. i am dogsitting this entire weekend and also for a full week in a fortnight and hmmmm i do not want to spend a good chunk of my summer trying to convince a dog that has not been trained properly to walk to please just fucking walk and take a dump so i can get to work. FUCK!!!!

Slightly odd shit was going on last night, first the back security light went on about 2 a.m. and was still on several minutes later so I went to look what was triggering it and it was this big fluffy white-with-a-dark-tail cat I don’t recognise in our garden, going around and around and around the water feature, going along the wall in front of it, pawing at the cover on it (it’s empty and wrapped in plastic because of the cold weather now), going round the back of it under the bushes, doing this over and over again for about half an hour until it finally left. I don’t know what the hell it was looking for but obviously something about it is Very Exciting if you’re a cat.

Then when I was looking out to see if the cat was still there this light started shining on my bedroom wall, moving about. It was someone going round one of the gardens up the road with a torch at like 2.30 in the morning. ???? 

What the hell was going on last night?

i want to take a day, an early morning flight, and go to disneyworld early one saturday morning and then come home sunday afternoon. spend the morning in the park, then check into the hotel, spend evening at the pool, then go back to the park for dinner and late-night shenanigans.

beneath neon lights and artificial stone, amidst strict greenery and the occasional rustle of a leaf on the breeze, think about kissing in abandoned corners, grazing lips and teeth and rock.

i wish for one thing but to experience wonderment. it’s something my mental health has taken from me. i used to be able to draw and draw, and today i drew, and everything was existential.

what can i do but click the first search result for “magical places.” what can i do but look behind me, a distant glistening memory from before it was all too real. what can i do but return to the place i was, at the very least, safe.

and yes, there is artifice. but you’re aware of it, and that awareness amplifies the high, i think. nothing’s real here. nothing’s real. not you, not the character you took a photo with, not even the beer you’re drinking for the crisp shock of hops on a sweltering Saturday afternoon. and for long enough, it doesn’t have to be.

is there not relief in ignorance?
