In my humble opinion, this movie is the greatest silent movie ever made. To me, it beats D.W. Griffith's movie, Birth of a Nation, hands down. It's the first horror movie ever made. It's brilliant!!! The use of light and dark and shadows and angles create such striking scenery, which gives this movie so much intensity and character. It's a great movie!!! The characters are also fantastic. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is by far my favorite horror movie of all time!!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤 I, highly, recommend seeing it if you haven't already!! 😁
