Wei Wuxian is a secret author and wrote two romance books: 'No Apologies and Thank Yous' and 'Our Song'. He based these stories on his own love life from him and his husband.

What he didn't expect was that his nephews and son would fight over which couple was superior in a poll.

They would write pages on pages of evidence of why the couple they were supporting was superior. Even though he felt happy they loved the book that much, there was no need to go to such lengths because in essence they were both made from the same people.

When he told them as such, Jin Ling was frozen, Ouyang Zizhen jumped in glee because he always had such suspicions, Lan Sizhui was unsurprised (he secretly voted for both ships) and Lan Jingyi fainted.

I really loved how seamlessly the pieces fell in place for Wangxian and how there wasn't any awkwardness between them even after thirteen years. Jingyi was also a lot of fun in this story. Excerpt: Whenever the audio switches to recordings of Wei Wuxian over the handheld radio, it takes all of Lan Wangji’s control to keep from swerving into another lane from shock. Hearing his voice is surreal after so long. He wishes it could’ve been in very different circumstances, of course, but even this, even just knowing he’s alive, feels like a gift. Lan Wangji savors every word he says, every staticky laugh, every light-hearted quip clearly meant to keep his students from panicking. At one point, the rescue team asks Wei Wuxian about his injury and he tries to brush it off again, but the kids in the background — including Lan Jingyi — loudly and unabashedly reveal the truth: he’d pulled students back from the falling stalactites and covered them with his own body to protect them from the spray of debris, and in the process a few stray rocks had clipped him across his back and shoulders.

Hey, wondered if you might signal boost about the polls over @ao3topshipsbracket ! Right now Wangxian is sailing through its bracket, but once it wins this round it'll be up against Blackbonnet from OFMD, and those fans are literally paying people to vote smdh. They've shown links to the places where they're buying votes. On the one hand, sure it's silly and harmless online poll. On the other hand, I think Wangxian doesn't deserve to be taken out by cheating. And sure, I'm biased since I prefer Wangxian and the story of the Untamed, but I'm not gonna buy votes, what the heck?! I promise you that any anime (or other show but I swear it is mainly animes) with two or more male characters will have an animatic for this song. It just will, of is the natural part of the process of a fandom becoming popular. People know this song even if they think they don't know this song. It is so catchy it eats you from the inside out.

It's legally blonde and a musical which is prine queer culture. Fandom is queer culture. Plus it's a banger song with a lot of fun animatics. A lot of other "fandom" songs are kinda really sad (Two Birds cough cough) and this one is just silly goofy. It's also just the right decision.

There were SO MANY of these back in the day like i swear no m/m fandom ship was immune. Extra points if the character was actually european

look, it's a classic. try and find a fandom without an animatic to gay or european. you could find one for nearly any fandom for multiple characters even. the "i thought you said...best friend" set of lines is used in incorrect quote posts to this day. it's iconic, it's a classic, we all know and love it
