"The Ascendant" || Deduction Quests + Rumor + Skills

Rumor: Born from arrogance and befallen by tragedy, this homunculus aims to take back everything from others who wronged her.

Skills:

Space Barrier [External Trait]

Due to the Ascendant's unique nature, the space surrounding the Ascendant is lighter than normal. Survivors and items caught in the Space Barrier have slower movement and interaction speeds, and may even be subject to momentary sub-zero gravity, floating up into the air when attempting to vault pr any way to launch oneself into the air. Space Barrier has 2000 charges on it, and using her skills depletes the charges of the barrier. The less charge the barrier has, the smaller the radius is and the weaker the debuffs are. She passively gains charges back.

Spatial Displacement [Ability]

Using her unique abilities, the Ascendant can relocate items and survivors through Spatial Displacement. Using Spatial Dislocation costs 150 charges, but using this means the Ascendant can lift any object with ease, including chests, cipher machines, and survivors. She can simply relocate them, or even throw them across the map. [2nd Presence] The cost and cooldown to use Spatial Displacement goes from 150 charges and a 20-second cooldown to 100 charges and a 10-second cooldown.

Dragon's Claw [Ability]

Summoning the spirit of her old friend, Bella, the Ascendant cuts a hole through the space-time fabric and commands a powerful strike against her foes. Survivors hit by this attack take 1 damage and can be terror-shocked by this move.

I. Fairytales are sweet little lies.

“The Artificer’s campaign has little impact on the overall story” bitch I cannot stress how much of an impact the Artificer had on the entire world. You just need to pay attention to some things.

By the time of the Artificer, Scavengers are basically in the middle of a massive golden age. They have a Chieftain (with a mark of communication (maybe Five Pebbles gave them the mark and citizen ID drone and tried to use them for something but they rebelled and found Metropolis)) with armour made from Red Centipede Scales, they have a permanent home in metropolis above the rain, they figured out how to harvest electrical scrap and broken down Rarefaction Cells from the ruins of Looks To The Moon and pieces of Five Pebbles to make electric spears and Singularity Bombs, they even have specially trained Elite Scavengers, which did exist before in the time of the Spearmaster but it’s still worth bringing them up.

Overall, Scavengers are at a golden age of invention and life in general.

And then they anger the Artificer, who slaughters countless Scavengers, kills their Chieftain and drives them out of Metropolis, locking the gate behind them.

After that, a new Chieftain is never made, armour like the chieftain once wore is never made again, Scavengers suffer a massive population loss, they can’t enter Metropolis without a Citizen ID Drone and Elite Scavengers slowly disappear as the methods used to teach them and the knowledge of how to scavenge and create electric spears and singularity bombs is lost, with the last Elite Scavengers being seen in the Hunter’s campaign, which happens next in the timeline. In other words, the Artificer literally sent Scavengers into a dark age.

It takes until the time of the SAINT for Scavengers to show real signs of recovery, now appearing in larger numbers than before. And even THEN Scavengers never do anything like they did during the time of the Artificer. The Artificer plunged Scavengers into a dark age for countless years, and they STILL haven’t recovered.

And that’s not all. According to the wiki, Scavengers are afraid of Slugpups, most likely because they remember how the last time they killed one they were hit by the full force of an angry explosive lobbing goddess of destruction that slaughtered countless members of their kind. They are afraid of Slugpups in all campaigns, even the Saint’s. So even by the time of the Saint Scavengers know not to mess with Slugpups, presumably because the last time they did so is a legend among Scavengers by that point in time.

Hell, the Artificer’s existence even explains something about the Hunter. The reason that the Hunter starts with a negative reputation among Scavengers is because they look like the fucking Artificer. Scavengers look at the Hunter and see the goddess of vengeance and destruction that they’ve only ever heard of from stories.

Both of them have red fur and a scar on one eye, and will the time gap between campaigns, there’s a good chance that only a few Scavengers that saw the Artificer in person are even alive by that point in time (without even taking into account how the Artificer murdered so many Scavengers that it’s probably rare that a Scavenger saw them and lived to tell the tale), meaning that the Artificer is probably told about in Scavenger stories and her appearance would therefore differ, leaving the most obvious details like the scar on one eye and red fur.

In order to ascend and make your desires come true, you need to stop getting affected with your current reality/surroundings. The moment you no longer feel the need and must for anything or anybody, you'll get what you want. The moment you don't let yourself fall for anyone's words and worries, responsibilities here, you'll finally shift. But you need a thick skin and internal strength for that. Nothing will change if all you're doing is baby yourself and search for comfort or distraction. It only makes the process and your growth slower. Your ego is attached to a human vessel, an individual you're having experience through, it will do anything to cling on dear life and safe zone.

The most important thing is to have a clear mental diet, what you think and believe everyday, becomes very important. You have to train yourself to go above the thoughts of this vessel, it's thoughts is not yours, you are not your thoughts. It's part of the mind that gets affected by your surroundings and experiences, that's why you need to ignore it because it will keep you in cage with distractions and limitations. Now the questions are. Do you really want that? Yes. But are you ready for it? Are you ready to accept your desires coming true? You need to accept them. Do you want to permanently leave this experience? The keyword is "permanent" tho, meaning you need to lose all memory and an attachment with this reality. You need to accept that it doesn't matter, that it's chapter is over, that it's time to move on to another one. After all who reads the same page over and over again without turning it over and continue reading? No one. You reached the last page and read the book completely, it's time to get the new one, you'll get bored of the same one eventually. Think of it that way. The ego will do anything to cling on the previous reality so you are not allowed to give it an ounce of attention.

You see, you have to remain as yourself and not be affected by the mind of the vessel you're currently using. You are the only master here and should be at control of all times. The vessel is the vehicle, and you are the driver. As long as you let your vessel's feelings and thoughts take over, you'll get into car crash. You are the soul, you are the consciousness, you are the ruler of your experiences. You are A GOD, SO ACT LIKE ONE. As long as you keep believing that this reality should be changed and as long as you're constantly worrying and thinking about it, you'll never be where you want to be. NEVER. The cycle will continue.

Do you feel like this reality is off to you? Like something's wrong? If so, than that's how you're supposed to be sure you do not belong here, it's not where you're supposed to be. You should reject this place and go to another one, like moving out of the toxic household. That's why people tell you to focus only on your imagination and not what you see. If you keep focusing on here, you'll stay here. Right?

Human beings, at least most of them. They are indeed very sensitive and too attached to the physical realm. This world. Their minds are programmed and conditioned to the point where they can't believe or accept anything beyond their senses and what's been told to them through generations. And it's their problem, not yours. The burden they built over the years is their work. Not yours! So you shouldn't give a fuck about it, just like these gods they pray to everyday and beg to solve the problems they created themselves. Why do you think they aren't helping? Because that's none of their fucking business.

Don't waste a thought to it, leave humanity to it's own devices, but while doing so, don't allow yourself to feel any emotions towards humans. What you think about and focus on, is what you attract. Let them destroy themselves, let it all burn to crisp and become ashes. Who in their right mind keeps mouldy fruits? You throw them away, to prevent them from getting the others around them mouldy. When you drive a car and go somewhere, you don't focus on the houses and your surroundings that you're passing by. You keep going and keep focusing on your destination. So don't focus on the houses (this reality), focus on the destination (your desired reality).

There's nothing wrong with sharing your knowledge and trying to correct misinformation and stupidities here, but you are not here to save anybody. You are not here to serve anybody. They are not your responsibility, they are their own responsibility. Why would you take care of someone else's garden (mind), but not yours? After all you can't save somebody that doesn't want to be saved, just like the addicted person. They find comfort in suffering and don't care about getting better. Ignore those "spiritual" people who make content about saving mankind and having "mission" on earth. Let's not forget about those people who work with entities and say we can't leave this place because it's apparently coward behaviour. They're only feeding you with fear and they are full of hero complex if you will.

And of course the matrix is good at feeding them the illusions that they can fix everything, that selflessness is something everybody should have, that they are here to sacrifice themselves. "Good always wins on the end", a stupid Hollywood movie that matrix wants everyone to believe in and the delusional people are perfect for it.

These people are not spiritual or mighty. They're only feeding the ego with trying to feel better about themselves by helping somebody, by feeling pride and superiority. That's the ego, dear. It's a self image and a social mask, the role you're playing. It thrives on approval and wants control because it lives in fear. It's causing you to feel defensive and attached to what others think of you. It's a collection of past fears, beliefs, desires, fantasies, ideas etc. that you meticulously put together in your mind to create an identity for yourself in order to face the future. It's blocking you from being in the present moment, it's preventing you to be open about new experiences.

God is consciousness, not a creator. God is the source of creation itself. You can think of yourself as a God, as long as you're not talking about your personal self and as long as you think outside this materialistic sense. The expression of God self rests inside of you, as you are a fractal of source, produced of, by, and from source consciousness itself. If you consider God to be a noun, a person, a place or thing, you succumb to illusion of separation and limit your conscious awareness. This is what separates religious from the spiritual.

Know that there is a cause to every effect in this reality. The cause of your patterns is you, but not consciously, and that's the whole point. To become consciously aware of your subconscious that caused the effects of unwanted patterns in your reality that you created before knowing better. Once you're aware of them you get to unlearn stories from past to create something new and preferable.

When you move from ego to soul, you don't lose your true identity, you find it. You gain realisation of who you truly are. Awakening means having an awareness of the ego, realising that much of our sufferings come from it. Pure consciousness can see past the repeating cycles of the mind and urges you to move beyond what you think now. Your origin was a spirit, not a physical body. These souls projected themselves into matter for their own diversion, but they got entangled in matter of materiality to such an extent to the point they nearly forgot their divine origin and nature. Never trap your energy in your physical form. You are the universe experiencing itself. WE ARE the personified universes.
