If you are full already, of the past and emotions it carries (anger, resentment, guilt, regret, grudges, sadness, remorse), then you will suffocate from the influx of these cleansing tides. This divine love attempting to fill your heart will seem painful, and it will be easy to shy away from the growth happening inside. Know this: you can't escape it. No matter what happens, no matter what you do, you will grow. This growth will happen in whichever direction you take it. As nature itself is a living fractal growing, transforming, building, shedding... As are you growing, transforming, building, shedding. You are doing so in whichever direction your attention goes. The new year is here. It is time to shed the layers. Death to the past and life to the here and now. Set your intentions. Allow your divinity to spring forth from your heart and guide you, even in the midst of decay and darkness. Shape your reality. It will be painful. It will be hard. It will be worth it. It has been such a lovely weekend spent in good company 💕 Erin and I went to Detroit on Friday to see all the lights and went to Seva after (try the yam fries 😍) Yesterday I enjoyed an amazing green yea latte followed by one of the best meditation sessions I've had in awhile. After that I went to church and then to dinner with my mother and Erin! Okay, this might not look very pretty but it turned out to be a really yummy desperation project lol! I wanted a creamy pasta so instead of spending $8 on my favorite creamy vegan sauce, I made my own... and it was totally gluten free! I blended one avocado, diced tomatoes, cilantro and some seasonings.
